Rep. Anthony Weiner Selectively Edits Himself

I’m one of those people who thinks sex scandals are funnier when they happen to Republicans. Sorry, I do. But this one is too funny. Anthony Weiner is a real favorite of a lot of Democrats because he’s not afraid to put it out there.
But as BigGovernment is reporting, maybe he put a little too much out there. Rep. Anthony Weiner’s Twitter account send out a photo of…ummm…underwear. To a woman who isn’t his wife. There’s no face, though. Just a bulge in some underwear. That’s editing! Go to BigGovernment for details.
As I write this, the tweet is still up at TweetCongress.org.
So, around the same time he was tweeting about hockey, he sends the underwear photos to that woman at @GennetteNicole. Don’t bother looking there, though. Rep. Weiner’s photos are all erased. And Gennette seems to have deleted her entire Twitter account. And, it seems, her Facebook account.
Look what RepWeiner tweeted earlier in the evening. I don’t know what it means, but look..why is he talking about Seattle?
Well, Gennette seems to live in Seattle. Could be a weird coincidence. Or about 5 of them.

Bill Clinton needs to give this bozo some pointers.
But perhaps that’s an indication this isn’t quite what it appears to me. It could be a screwed up attempt to send a photo, a hacked account, or just something meant to be humorous rather than some actual cheating.
I know Weiner is a loudmouth liberal, but I had an interaction with him that showed him to be a pretty decent man, or at the very least, not full of himself. Really, I think he’s one of those liberals who is sincerely trying to help, albeit in a misguided manner. But power corrupts, and I haven’t seen the guy in several years.

I was talking with someone a few weeks ago about sex and politics, and the conversation got around to a person in our workplace who’s involved in same-sex relationships. I mentioned that, based on the background of many non-purely-straight people, it’s technically more correct to describe most gays as bisexual—eg, the person we were discussing was previously married and had kids.
I also said that if a person is of the left, he or she probably is even likelier to be involved in non-conforming, flaky behavior. Because that notion is upended when a Republican/rightist is the guilty party, that’s probably a major reason Lee said sex scandals involving such a person are funnier.
I figure that if someone like the Republican (although was he a squish?) from that district in western New York thinks with his crotch, and Newt Gingrich is pretty much similar — and there’s the type along the lines of Schwarzenegger — then it’s a given that no-shame, do-your-own-thang Democrats/liberals will be super prone to activity where STDs are all over the place. And that’s 10 times truer — for EVERYONE — in this age of post-Bill-Clinton.

Our rep Bruce Braley wasn’t a douchebag when he got elected either, but he “went Washington” faster than a speeding bullet once in office. For the first two yeas he sent out full-color, four-page, heavy stock, “Look how great I am!” mailings every month…all on the taxpayers’ dime. Evidently I wasn’t the only one who protested because that practice has stopped. He’s still a douche, though.

Verify what, exactly? Lee is presenting Weiner’s side of the story. It’s just that it’s hard to understand why Twitter didn’t take down the verified account if it was really hacked. It’s suspicious that a man looking like Weiner sent a creepo picture to one of Weiner’s groupies with Weiner’s twitter account.
What is there to verify? All the evidence was deleted by Weiner and Cordova because they wanted to hide it all. They claim they just wanted to stop the ‘harassment’, but if they are telling the truth they are silly people.
You should recalibrate your ‘liar liar’ meter.
