Protester Calls For Melania Trump To Be Raped; Fellow Protesters, Feminists And Media Yawn

Filed under: General — Dana @ 10:45 pm

[guest post by Dana]

NOTE: Commenter nk suggests that this picture was photoshopped. I read the report in the Washington Post last night. I do think that the automatic response for the left when confronted by their own awfulness, is denial and defense (“that’s just one person, not all of us”). But, if it does turn out to be a false flag, I will make sure to update the post.

I don’t ever want to hear one more damn liberal feminist or progressive politician lecture me about misogynistic boogeymen. Because if they knew of this and didn’t forcefully condemn it, then they are nothing but clanging gongs deserving of our deepest contempt:

untitled

Shame on every hypocritical, weak-willed person standing near the person holding the sign who said nothing and did nothing to get him to put it down. Shame on every hypocrite whose inaction exposed them as being on the same team as this reprehensible individual. And if you were in the midst of this protest and saw this sign and you made no effort to grab it, or pressure him to put it down, you expose yourself as a tacit supporter who gave license to an individual to publicly threaten and wish evil upon Melania Trump. A woman who has done you no wrong. Your silence speaks volumes. That you, as a group, were not an unmovable force united against this hatred, compelling the individual to put down the sign, makes you all accomplices.

And to the women standing there, a double shame on you if you said nothing and did nothing, because you betray every woman who has actually endured being raped at the hands of a ruthless man. Sisterhood has its limits apparently.

Oh. Wait. What’s that?? You say it’s okay because Melania Trump is the Republican wife of a man you hate??

You small soulless and vindictive ghouls, to think that it’s okay to see this and say nothing and do nothing makes you a misogynistic hypocritical pig, and all your post-election howls mean Absolutely Nothing. In fact, they mean even less than nothing. They are but the shameful fallout from hollowed-out hearts of the self-consumed who no longer have a functioning moral compass upon which to find their way out of the abyss. You have been exposed by your own self-righteousness. Never again will your words have meaning, give challenge, or be relevant. You define deplorables.

So to all the wounded liberals who saw this photo on the internet, on the news, on Twitter, and didn’t rise up in a righteous fury, then Screw You. All you elite 5th Avenue residents who voted for Hillary Clinton and smugly chimed in with her that, “love trumps hate,” and yet saw this in your neighborhood and said nothing, you, clueless fools, are precisely why Trump is in office. And from the New York Times, to feminists like Jessica Valenti, Amanda Marcotte, Jill Filipovic, and to Chelsea Clinton, Manhattan Congresswoman Carolyn B. Maloney, Nancy Pelosi, Elizabeth Warren, Valerie Jarret, Loretta Lynch, Michelle Obama, and to Hillary Clinton – especially Hillary Clinton, I CAN’T HEAR YOU.

So I’m going to borrow Michelle Obama’s stinging rebuke delivered to Donald Trump, and say it with a dripping venomous vigor and disgust to those who ignored and excused this act of hate, whether in person or from afar:

This is not politics as usual. This is disgraceful. It is intolerable — it doesn’t matter what party you belong to, no woman deserves to be treated this way.

Word.

  1. If this doesn’t expose the horrible hypocrisy of the left, then nothing does.

    Dana (d17a61)

  2. You know, Republic*nts. Tolerance doesn’t mean you have to put up with people you hate!

    Kevin M (25bbee)

  3. As for Michelle, I remember when she denounced her husband’s supporters lynching Sarah Palin’s effigy.

    http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-politics-palin-effigy-idUSTRE49Q79N20081027

    Oh, maybe she didn’t.

    Kevin M (25bbee)

  4. The lefties are probably all saying it’s a false flag. That’s what you automatically say when you’re a partisan and someone makes your side look really bad.

    Patterico (115b1f)

  5. Remind me again who Clinton was talking about when she mentioned a bunch of deplorables?

    Sean (41ed1e)

  6. Thinking back Hillary Clinton out of the blue in late September last declared that all women making claim of sexual assault have the right to be believed.

And this was a huge departure for her.

Then the very next week Alicia Machado waddled her enormous heiny out to the Clinton’s rented microphone. The week after a twelve year old video hidden microphone sting catching Mr. Trump’s locker room talk.
Then a parade of lying women claiming Trump was handsy with them supported by zero evidence.

The original thing, Hillary saying all women deserve to be believed in their accusations no matter how unfounded, that was a campaign strategy.

She along with her party could care less

  7. I don’t think you’re a tacit supporter if you don’t grab someone’s sign

    happyfeet (28a91b)

  8. Patterico, I don’t think it matters if they think it was a false flag or not. If you change the name on the sign to one of a prominent left-leaning woman, do you think the crowd would have ignored it?

I don’t. I think the sign-holder would be fortunate if all that happened was having the sign taken away.

    Lin B (bfe8df)

  9. @ Lin B, #8:

Patterico would agree with you. I think he’s pointing out that when you fail to police your own people, and one of them does ssomething dumb or ugly or immoral or illegal, the standard fallback is “must have been those other guys masquerading as us, because our people are composed of sugar and rainbows.”

Or at least, it is if you’re dishonest, or a leftist activist. But I repeat myself.

    Demosthenes (09f714)

  10. Dana, remember when I brought up “otherization” and some oh so macho wag brought up how academic and leftist I was for using such language?

Otherization is what allows things like this to happen.

On Twitter, now, there is a campaign to suggest that since Trump’s election, there has been a huge rise in people posting and yelling racist and misogynist things to people. That Trump must IMMEDIATELY respond.

    Nothing about this.

Anyway, *this* is why I dislike all the over the top language —even from posters here.

    It’s a superfood for trolls.

    Simon Jester (c63397)

  11. I suspect it’s a photoshop. The source is alleged to be a Twitterer, Beck @thereal_beck, who is also alleged to claim that he took the photo and that he saw a Trump supporter chase the guy with the sign away. He took just the one photo? What happened? Did he run out of battery?

    nk (dbc370)

  12. Maybe, nk. But do you believe all the stories the other way.

All of us need to beware confirmation bias.

The Two Minute Hate culture we are developing makes us all tools of the Big Boys and Big Girls.

You saw the photo supposedly of the LA protest that was actually from Venezuela, I’m sure.

    Yuck.

    Simon Jester (c63397)

  13. No, Simon, I did not see that one. I tried to google it and I found fake photos from US riots purporting to be from Venezuela, though. 😉

The internet is a giant garbage can.

    nk (dbc370)

  14. But it is again, superfood for trolls.

    Simon Jester (c63397)

  15. The Washington Post reports about this trending on Twitter and that there are complaints that Twitter hasn’t taken it off the list as it calls for sexual assault. Twitter responded, saying that it’s trending because people are protesting it, not supporting it.

They also note: Trump’s critics, meanwhile, are stressing that a single protester does not represent all of them.

If it is a fake, perhaps it will draw attention to the “verified” horrible events taking place at the hands of rioters and anti-Trumpers.

    Dana (d17a61)

  16. I’ve added a “note” at top of post.

    Dana (d17a61)

  17. The Chicago story is fake, too, as far as Trump being the reason.

It was a robbery and carjacking initiated by a fake accident to make the man stop and get out of his car. It’s a common modus operandi by Dindu Nuffins in “those neighborhoods”. The “You voted Trump” was just a pretext to keep the bystanders from intervening.

Another common pretext for muggings is “drug deal gone bad”. They actually pulled that one on Mayor Emanuel’s son. And there was a post, here, a couple of years back, where they said the same thing about the robbery and murder of a seventy-year old man just walking down the street.

    nk (dbc370)

  18. it looks like it was written with a marker and blowed up

    plus it’s spelled correctly

    happyfeet (28a91b)

  19. So they have the original photo, whats more likely?

For eight years they have still not revealed who burned the huntress’s church.

  20. This is such a good post, Dana. It made me think of the piece of video and print reporting–yes actual reporting (linked below)–that was in the Tribune a few days ago as city reporters finally went out into the populace to try to understand the election. The Illinois county profiled (Henry) is not the county I grew up in but it is very similar, understandable, and completely recognizable to me. All of it. The overall decency and commonsense intelligence of the folks interviewed, the independence from groupthink, the willingness to embrace change yet the courage to call something what it is when necessary. I guarantee that the day after the election these people, black and white neighbors, Democrats and Republicans, went back to work, had coffee and pie with each other at the cafe and life goes on there. The riots and conduct of protesters such as was profiled by Dana here, were and continue to be anathema to these people.

    http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/ct-henry-county-switch-to-trump-met-20161111-story.html

This second link has a map that shows how Illinois Counties voted last week. I’d guess many people are shocked to see the sea of red. Population centers, Chicago and suburbs all blue of course. The very few other blue counties are fairly explanitory as they house universities (U of Illinois) (Southern Illinois University) are adjacent to St. Louis, etc. The most important fact to be drawn here, though, is that one needs only to look at the other map of ALL the blue Illinois counties which helped elect President Obama in 2008 to see that many of them are the very same counties that went Trump in 2016. That not only factually disputes the “they’re all racists out there in flyover country” but also should demonstrate to any senitent being why those constant media charges of both closet and overt racism and the Hillary “deplorables” comment probably created even more Trump votes from voters in non cities who are absolutely fed up with the distain and lies about them and who they are.

I want to ask you all about something that’s going on right now around the country. A lot of people are afraid. They’re really afraid. African Americans think there’s a target on their back. Muslims are terrified.

  26. 23. Some itinerant you tube comic with Bernaic political leanings. He shat himself out of easy Donny Trump impersonator earnings given his paunch and hair color.

He was certainly more of a gadfly than a serious guy.

I never saw anything proved about him being a plant by the Dems. He said this about it:

Some also have accused him of being a plant, a Hillary Clinton supporter paid to chant an epithet to paint Trump supporters in a negative light.

“Do I look like I got paid?” Lindell said.

He does not. He was sitting Monday in the sparse warehouse he uses for his painting business. It is also where he lives.

He is a conspiracy theorist like Trump.

Lindell has no television. He spends his nights listening to audio versions of the Bible and the Gnostic Gospels, accounts of Jesus Christ that are not in the canon.

His has developed a complex theory about the international cabal that controls the U.S. government. The corruption, he says, stretches back to the beginning of the country. Biblical clues hint at either this country experiencing sevenfold wealth with Trump’s election, or disappearing.

I never saw anything about his politics except this:

While some accused Lindell of being a fake Trump supporter planted by the Hillary Clinton campaign, his answer to that was written all over his shirt, which had “Hillary for prison” emblazoned on the front.

“It’s a rally — you’re supposed to have fun. A lot people are standing around and I’m like ‘Dang, this is a rally, bro. Let’s make some noise, people,’” he said about why he was so pumped up.

His claim was that he was saying “USA: like a Latino:

“A lot of times when Spanish people say ‘USA’ or ‘United States’ it sounds like ‘Jew S.A.’ or ‘Jew United States’ and I always thought that sounds kind of cool, when they accentuate the ‘U,'” he said.

    Goofball is the main takeaway.

  28. 25, a lot of stuff, particularly targeted at blacks and gays, might be on the level of “outing” by other members of the coalition disappointed that these groups not-voted and even voted for the T-man. If its not video of things actually happening, but of printed paper messages left on windshields and doors, I make sure to keep my Morton’s container nearby.

I started working with this guy who is an American, born of Iranian parents. His girlfriend is Iranian and living here on a student visa.

He was totally overwrought the morning after. His girlfriend was apparently crying hysterically at the thought of her pending deportation.

Thing is, these two come across as disinterested in any religion, if not atheist.

I told him she’s got nothing to worry about, providing she’s not going to flight school.

    happyfeet (28a91b) — 11/14/2016 @ 9:15 am

actually that would make sense, if the photographer moved between photos, to capture the sign straight on. The man’s arms seem to be holding the sign straight in both pictures, but facing different ways in each.

    no one of consequence (325a59)

  36. ok but i’m still skeptical

Spies do infiltrate their enemies’ events and stage false flag operations.

    http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2016/03/19/protestor_dons_klan_hood_at_trump_rally_in_arizona_trump_that_is_disgusting.html#!

It’s a one way street, though. The LHMFM’s default mode is to assume the klansman is Republican and then demand the candidate with the R after his or her name to denounce basically the entire crowd. You can be sure the guy holding up the rape sign is a devout leftist because the LHMFM will just ignore it.

    Steve57 (0b1dac)

  38. So the lefties don’t need to claim it’s a false flag operations. Since it never happened as far as the LHMFM is concerned they don’t need to say anything at all. And if Melania does get raped the b***h deserved it for marrying a Republican President-elect. That justifies pretty much anything.

    Steve57 (0b1dac)

  39. 34. When that video was posted here and you see the freezed frame YouTube(like?) box, I saw a darker haired mustachioed man standing next to Lindell. Admittedly, I was thinking the same until Lindell took over the top, although Lindell comes off like that golfer Miguel Angel Jimenez.

If the people around the “false flag” seem to take it as acceptable, then it’s a real flag.

  41. I appreciate the critical analysis.

I think it is very important to collect information on reported events and what can be shown to be hoaxes or false flag operations.

In fact, as big and complete a list as possible would be nice.

A friend of mine, who is currently taking ish for going Stein instead of C, dared to tell some of our mutual Latina immigration lawyer/rights types that they could do more for their cause by simply picking one illegal and marrying him (her also I guess nowadays), then with their marches and lawfare.

  45. Some of the “fear” is a matter of virtue-signaling. I’m so important, I’m so sensitive, I belong to groups far superior to rednecks, I’m askeered. LOOK AT ME BEING AFRAID! DAMMIT!
Then there are the people who’ve forgotten the first law of propanganda…don’t believe your own.
