Ben Howe’s Film “The Sociopath”

Filed under: General — Patterico @ 6:25 pm

My colleague Ben Howe from RedState recently posted his film “The Sociopath” about Donald Trump. I just watched it. He convinced me: I’m not voting Trump!

(Yes, I’m kidding. I wasn’t going to vote Trump anyway.)

The film is under 50 minutes long and features interviews with Jonah Goldberg, Lachlan Markay, Rick Wilson, and Liz Mair — as well as footage showing the history of Trump’s rise, and his destruction of conservatism as a force in the Republican party. Enjoy!

Hillary Clinton Emailed Classified Information To Chelsea Clinton And Then Tried To Cover Her Tracks

Remember when Hillary Clinton breezily told us this:

From one of the thousand of emails recovered by the FBI, we learn today that on at least one occasion, not only did Hillary Clinton send classified information to her daughter, Chelsea Clinton, but she also deleted the email in an effort to cover her tracks. One might reasonably assume that as a private citizen and non-government employee, Chelsea Clinton has never had a security clearance that would allow her to be privy to governmental classified emails:

The Dec. 20, 2009 email chain, entitled “Update,” started with a message from Michael Froman, who served as a deputy assistant to President Obama and deputy national security adviser for international economic affairs.

The email, which is redacted because it contains information classified as “Confidential,” was sent to Jake Sullivan, Clinton’s foreign policy adivser at the State Department, and several Obama aides. Sullivan sent it to Hillary Clinton who then forwarded it to Chelsea, who emailed under the pseudonym “Diane Reynolds.

All of the text in the body portion of the classified emails is redacted because it contains foreign government information.

The State Department labeled the email a “near dupilcate,” indicating that it was mostly similar to other emails that the agency has released from the trove of emails that Clinton turned over in Dec. 2014.

Clinton did not delete other responses she made to others on the email thread.

Hillary Clinton appears to have very little problem spilling the beans to her daughter via email. Remember that time she emailed Chelsea the truth about what happened that night in Benghazi, but lied to us?

There is absolutely no reason to believe that if Hillary Clinton is elected president, Chelsea Clinton, along with Bill Clinton, would not be privy to issues of national security. Three for the price of one!

A Timely Reminder of Just the Sort of People the Clintons Are

By way of Powerline comes this video from an episode of the television news show 20/20 which I believe dates back to 2002 or 2003. It features a Democrat mega-donor named Peter Paul who claims to have spent $1.5 million hosting a fund-raising gala for Hillary Clinton’s 2000 Senate race with the expectation that outgoing President Bill Clinton would help him with his business interests. The segment lasts about eleven minutes and is well worth the watch:

Let’s get something out upfront. Peter Paul is a felon, a fraudster and hustler, a man who has been imprisoned three times: once for cocaine distribution in the 1970s, once for using a false identity to enter into Canada, and again for securities fraud after his dalliance with the Clinton Crime Family. But that only leads one to ask how someone so notorious could ever have been brought so close into the Clintons’ orbit. As Paul himself points out in the video, the Secret Service absolutely knew of his past and presumably communicated it to his coveted patrons, who clearly didn’t care one whit about Paul’s ethics and morals provided that his checks cleared. Hillary Clinton later returned a $2,000 campaign contribution from Paul, according to the 20/20 segment that appears to be only a fraction of what Paul contributed to her campaign.

One of the most distasteful memories from this video is the obnoxious nexus of Baby Boomer Hollywood and the Clintons, which will inevitably be back in play should Hillary be elected and aging entertainers return for a unwelcome curtain call. Paul’s lawsuits against the Clintons ended up going nowhere, but they should serve as a reminder to us all of the sordid and sleazy people who inhabit Clinton, Inc.

Mike Huckabee: Donald Trump May Be a “Car Wreck” . . .

. . . But Hillary!™

I started to write a long post about how Republicans will justify literally anything in this election, and use the most twisted logic to do so. But why write a long post when a simple tweet will do?

Now who can argue with that?
