USAToday Demonizes Condi — Visually

Filed under: Media Bias — Patterico @ 5:50 pm

Michelle Malkin has a report about USAToday’s doctoring of a photo of Condi Rice to make her look demonic. It’s an amazing visual. Kudos to the blogger who first caught it: From the Pen.

  1. No body said the job was going to be easy, God only knows her predecessor General Colin Powell got burned by it, but as Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice faces the most difficult decisions of her tenure as Secretary of State: the findings by UN investigators into the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri who have found many leads pointing to the direct involvement of Syrian officials, and of the government of Syrian Dictator Maher Assad, about which she told reporters that she was disturbed by the report and said the international community must hold Syria accountable, added to the recent threats made by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad calling for “Israel to be wiped off the face of the earth,” calling on Palestinians to step-up the violence, stating that “Iran will trample America under its feet,” and Iran’s continuing defiance of the World Community in its mad dash to develop nuclear weaponry, Dr. Rice is faced with one of the most grueling decisions of her career, and must decide on wether to advise the President to invade….Aruba?

After four months of no new leads or developments in the case of her daughter’s disappearance, Natalee Holloway, and of endlessly hashing out the same repetitive, stale allegations calling to “pin the crime on the donkey: Joran,” and after having failed to obtain an audience with his Holiness Pope Benedict XVI to promote her cause, not been able to appear before the General Council of the United Nations on one of her recent visits to New York to be on Fox, Beth Holloway Twitty, who has been able to fiercely cling to the “limelight” in spite of terrorist bombings in London, developments in Iraq, devastating
hurricanes one of which almost obliterated one of America’s major cities, several floods, apocalyptic earthquakes,
and sundry other natural disasters and crisis that have killed thousands upon endless thousands around the world, managed to wiggle her way into a crowded Church where Madam Secretary of State was attending services, in order to ask for her intervention in getting Joran “lynched” and punishing Aruba for its lack of cooperation in doing so.

At this stage of the case, only an imminent invasion of Aruba would satisfy the demented Banshee’s call for retribution!

So, stop the presses, adjourn the United Nations, postpone the Iraqui elections, stop the peace talks in the Middle East, ignore the Confirmation Proceedings of Harriet who? We must focus as a Nation on what is really important, and address Beth’s needs!

As I watched her latest interview on Greta on Fox, suddenly the Energizer bunny paraded across the screen as Beth whined away as usual: “…well, you know Greta…. I don’t know about that… that is not relevant…” and the ominous voice of the announcer said “…it keeps going, and going, and going…” and I was aghast to find, appropriately so, that Beth was the new “Spokeperson” for the Energizer Bunny which like her keeps “going, and going, and going…” Which begs the question: Any electrician in the house that can short this circuit out to drain the batteries?
