We love Michelle Malkin here.

  1. Nice to see her on TV. Not sure how often she makes it on the tube but it seems like it’s been a while since I’ve seen her there.

Then again, I don’t really watch much at all, so don’t judge by me.

    Patterico (feda6b)

  2. I never watch Fox anymore but I caught this on the intertubes today. He never should have gone the “I’m not a blogger, but a real journalist” route. I am sure he now regrets it. Great job MM.

    Gazzer (3d4b83)

  3. Juan is a real journalist like that nice Brian Williams over at NBC who finally mentioned Fast and Furious a scant 18 months after it became news. And even then he got it all wrong. They have no idea how boned they are come November.

    Gazzer (3d4b83)

  4. Even those dunces at our local rag, The Arizona Republic, wrote about F&F a mere 6 months after its occurrence.

    Gazzer (3d4b83)

  5. Pimped up liberals like Juan are why I very seldom turn on fox. Ailes is what worries me.

  6. love her fearlessness
    her highlighting the feckless and
    glad she’s on our team

  7. I saw this last night. She was awesome.

  8. I’ve been following MM so long she must have started blogging as a teenie.

Rather often disagree with her, but I’m plainly not conservative enough. Thank you, ma’am, I’ll have another.

    gary gulrud (dd7d4e)

  9. Juan didn’t lean much from the large carving knife NPR put in his back. At least he isn’t Bill Press.

  10. No one can decapitate a liberal like Michelle Malkin. She’s a conservative deity in my book.

    CrustyB (69f730)

  11. And he did not learn much from it either.

  12. She basically told Williams he has his head stuck up Obama’s ass as an apologist for his agenda. Juan Williams thinks it is just fine having an Obama contributor who got help finding an earlier job through Holder, investigating the Obama inner circle. Can’t imagine what the media reaction would be if all this security breach crap was emanating from the Bush administration. I mean political operative Axelrod having imput into kill lists? And what’s with having another political puke as national security advisor? I saw that rino Orrin Hatch is demanding Holder resign.
Also Lanie Davis was on talking about having faith in Obama and Holder.

  13. We love Michelle Malkin here.

    — Yes, we do.

    Icy (95c5f7)

  14. All too-often Juan Williams falls back on the “this is standard operating procedure in Washington” excuse to justify whatever stupid/immoral/illegal thing the Dems are doing, with the implication that if the R’s were in-charge they’d be doing the same thing.

He’s like an educated version of Bob Beckel.

    Icy (95c5f7)

  15. What is so infuriating about Juan Williams is that on rare occasions he rises above the level of hackery and shows some integrity.

    But sadly, not often enough.

    SPQR (26be8b)

  16. you can’t have worked for National Soros Radio and then pretend to be a journalist

    it just confuzzles everybody

Juan is and has always been a cheesy opportunistic propaganda whore.

But then Michelle is sorta the pot calling the Juan Williams black.

I’ll always remember her for the weirdly neurotic Dubai Ports World shriekings she hit Bush with, opening a new front on his presidency in tandem with the National Soros Radio propaganda whores what were still going balls out pretending he was to blame for Hurricane Katrina.

    Depressing.

  18. Juan Williams–to put it politely–is all too often not all that smart. He’s got the liberalitis disease. Narro world view and all that stuff. His momma dun raised an idiot.

    An easier visualization:
Think of the MSM’s reaction if they learned that Karl Rove was intimately involved in the invasion planning for Iraq in 2003,
or even the battleplans against the Taliban in Afghanistan in ’01-’02?
We know how they reacted when he was tangentially involved in the canning of those USA’s, and those are political positions.

  23. _______________________________________________

I give Williams credit for at least choosing (assuming he had other options) to be hired by a news organization that isn’t as one-sided and staunchly liberal as his former home at NPR was. I also give Malkin credit for describing in no uncertain terms what truly has been and is the nose-in-the-air, disingenuous nature of the traditional media (solidly of the left), increasingly “yesterday’s news” — or a dinosaur — in the era of the internet.

    Mark (4500b8)

  24. “…just a blogger…”

The Tenured Members of the MSM will never forgive the blogosphere for putting Dan Blather’s head on a pike.

I hope, after this little exchange, MM celebrated by buying herself a new set of PJ’s.

  25. Some years ago juan williams reportedly had some sort of epiphany that libs were often dishonest and wrong. At the time I remember hearing him say things that showed rationality and objectivity, but even then he would also go along with some lib nonsense.
So, I’ve been agnostic whether he is a recovering liberal having a very hard time of it, or trying to be a double agent, or what.

Maybe it’s kind of a worldview “Murray Gell-Mann” phenomenon- he saw through some things where the libs were dishonest, but the implications regarding liberalism in general remain beyond him, in spite of how he was treated by NPR.

    MD in Philly (3d3f72)

  26. Poor Juan Williams.

He gets kicked around and treated like a mongrel dog by the Left — yet still he refuses to leave the Democrat Plantation of his own volition.

Juan Williams is the poster-child of ‘Glutton for Punishment’.

    SD Tom (a5427d)

  27. Schooled!
It must be difficult leaving the liberal plantation/cocoon and its many comforts, including the assumption of automatic and unquestioned righteousness. Sorry (not really), lefties, but those days are ovah. Thanks to conservative bloggers like Malkin, you have to make sense not drama. Juan Williams is trying, there are occasional glimpses of honesty and understanding, especially after the NPR episode, but it’s a long road back to the real world.

    AMartel (88c646)

  28. Juan Williams has lost my respect. I always thought that, even though he’s a Liberal, he was ususally objective in his comments.

He lost me when, on Hannity, he lost his cool in
a debate about activist groups when he said that
” there are hundreds, even thousands of right
wing activists in the forests of Idaho, all
equipped with automatic weapons.” I emailed
Hannity, asking him to tell Williams that I live
in the forests of Idaho and I’ve never seen a
right wing activist with an automatic weapon but
Williams is welcome to stay with us while he
    looks for them.

    el zopilote (5c160e)

  29. 28, I went to the U of ID, Moscow for a year. I never saw any automatic weapons there, not even in the hands of the ROTC.

I did see a number of America hating liberals who were faculty more intent on brainwashing their students than teaching them the subject they were hired to teach.

    Comment by AMartel

Weird how blacks are unaware of this plantation. Takes a lot of balls to argue 95% of an ethnic group doesn’t know who has their interest at heart.

    timb (449046)

  33. it doesn’t take any balls at all to point out the blindingly obvious, but you are to be commended for your willfull ignorance.

it takes an awful lot of effort to be that stupid.

  34. “When the progressive-academic-media-government complex stops being a plantation”

    The dude works for foxnews!

    sheldon (77ac66)

  35. 34, sheldon, you are willfully ignorant, but you are a liberal which explains why you aren’t rational.

    PCD (1d8b6d)

  36. Please see my original comment (#27) about how hard it is to give up the privileges of being a plantation dweller. Sheldon the commenter bears this out in his sanctimonious comment. Sheldon, you don’t own the plantation, you just live there ya damn fool. It’s (still) a free country and I get to point that out whether you like it or not.

    AMartel (88c646)

  37. Kind of fascinating to deny one’s mild political opposition the type of agency you allow yourself, such as to only imagine that the opposition can only come from something akin to the institution of slavery! Talk about lack of mind opening.

Privileges? Williams got himself a nice job at foxnews. If he stops being who he is, he’ll likely lose it.

    sheldon (77ac66)

  38. I though she was nasty though accurate.

Juan was being a d-bag and a liar.

    Bill (aeda60)

  39. Juan is used to shoveling his BS without question,
There is no doubt he is as intelligent as any tennis ball.

    Coastal Eddie (6f5427)

  40. #32 The fact 95% of blacks vote Democratic is that blacks like hand-outs and they get lots of them as a class from Democrats. From welfare to lots of do-nothing government jobs

With that said, whites on the tit are no better. Just look at State and Local Governments and their unions enablers. Mostly white.

    Bill (aeda60)

  41. When 90% of Chicago teacher vote to strike over a 24% pay raise in this economic environment after protesting in favor of tax increases in Springfield in 2010, it’s pretty easy to point to who is out of touch with reality.

But of course the higher taxes and salaries are for teh chirren, or something, who would wind up even less well educated in the city if the Rahmfather doesn’t fork over the Benjamins.

    daleyrocks (bf33e9)

  42. As to Juan:
I’m afraid he’s reached his Sell Date.

    Racist.

    Milhouse (312124)

  43. It’s a painfully apt metaphor, especially painful in 2012 and because black people are complicit, but clearly you’d prefer not to talk or think or hear about that. You’d rather cry ‘raaacism’ and change the topic. It’s one of the privileges of the plantation dweller: no need for reasoned, thoughtful discourse and responding to the point when you can bring sanctimonious accusations, personal attacks, false equivalencies, and emotional meltdowns. Sheldon, you’re clearly incapable of honest debate but I hope you are at least honest with yourself when no one is looking.

    AMartel (88c646)

  44. 90% of the white vote in Alabama went against Obama. We don’t hear about those folks being in a plantation so much.

    sheldon (77ac66)

  45. Talk about plantations and slarvery…

Student loans… $10,000’s to $100,000’s in loans to students that have zero credit history and zero ability to pay–On the hope that there are high paying jobs out there.

Federal government raises the amount available for loans, colleges (public and private) raise the prices to suck up the available funds.

Now out of school, working for minimum wage (at one or two jobs). Miss a payment or two, and the interest rates skyrocket.

And then you are dead broke and cannot discharge the debt anywhere in the US… At least before, there was always a chance of leaving the plantation for a free state (at least until Dred Scott v. Sandford).

Is Debtor’s prison next (from Wiki):

Most state constitutions, including Minnesota’s, have clauses dating to the 1850s that expressly prohibit the jailing of people for their debts. [15] Some people[13] make the claim that it is unconstitutional in the United States to incarcerate someone solely for failing to pay a debt. However, there is little settled law on this matter and plenty of precedent for de facto debtors’ prisons.[12][13][14]

More than a third of U.S. states allow borrowers to be jailed for non payment of debts.[16] “Judges have signed off on more than 5,000 such warrants since the start of 2010 in nine counties.”[17] Because of “sloppy, incomplete or even false documentation,” many borrowers facing jail time don’t even know they’re being sued by creditors.[18]

De-facto Slavery from Federally Offered Debt and Federal Laws that forbid bankruptcy–All to the advantage of the educational bureaucracy.

    BfC (fd87e7)

  46. Debtor’s Prison…
Except, if your repayment is directed by a Court Order, and you fail to comply, can’t you be jailed for “contempt”?
It might not be “debtor’s prison”, but you’re in jail just the same, and to get out, you’ve got to make those payments.

  48. 47. Shel evidently thinks there’s still mileage on those threadbare ‘racist’ tires.

Dunno, just stood at the Lincoln Memorial where MLK addressed Amerikkka with “I Have a Dream” which I watched in its entirety, a fifth grader.

Au contraire bro’ you’re a danger to yourself and others, get off the road and junk that deathwagon.

    gary gulrud (dd7d4e)

  49. If Williams were honest,he’d admit that he too sees Obama much as Obama sees himself, as a messianic figure whose goal is to transform America into European type socialist state. He wins re-election and to hell with Congress and Supreme Court; he’ll just rule by executive orders. This according to historians talked to who related the same to liberal writer of Amateur. Axelrod calls Obama by his nickname Black Jesus. Isn’t that special?? I would love to know we keep hearing that people say they LIKE obama personally? WTF is the reason for that? I saw through the charlatan as soon as he opened his mouth at that 2004 Dem convention. Look at his record and associations. I never felt one iota of racial guilt and see Obama for what he is, a con artist. Shame on you who continue to buy into his lies. As for what libs refer to as Faux news, what do they want? They have a plethora of liberal voices at Fox, including the likes of Bechtel and Alan Combes. O’Reilly seems to think Obama loves America and just has a far left nanny state vision. I think Juan Williams believes the crap he spews. Oh, I am the elite journalist and a mere Filipina blogger is no match for me intellectually.

  51. #44, Even if true your point stupid.

The idea of Blacks on the plantation is how their Liberal Masters promise them goodies for their subservience. Goodies they steal from others but I digress.

90% of Whites not voting Obama might be racism but certainly not being on the Republicans plantation b/c Republicans are not promising “goodies” in exchange for subservience.

But vhatevah. I think you statistics is flat out wrong.

God-fearing people with a keen sense of the need to put our financial house in order and to turn back the tide of the leftwing statist expansion of government… Big Government… specifically, 0bama’s Big Government.

  54. “sheldon – I’m sure you’ll be providing a link to support that claim any second, right?”

Did that seem incredible to you? Is this something you find hard to believe? That white folks could have numbers as to be on a “plantation”?

    http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/results/polls/#val=ALP00p1

Looks like the plantation states don’t like voting for Obama. But don’t say they’re on the plantation!

    sheldon (77ac66)

  55. It’s so ironic, this Juan Williams’ sneer toward *sniff* “bloggers”: Unless I missed it, Williams – the professional journalist – has not written one word about the SWATtings taking place and yet, it was *sniff* mere bloggers who bravely broke the story and have continued to fearlessly and tenaciously write about it in order to protect the freedom of speech and to see the perpetrators face the full consequences of their actions.

Then why is Juan Williams, a guy whose boss is Roger Ailes, described as being on the plantation? All he has in common with that is… Oh. I see.

    sheldon (77ac66)

  58. Roger Ailes needs to go to the souplantation for sure. He could load up on salad for so he wouldn’t be so tempted to eat empty carbs!

pretty soon he’d start to feel better about himself and people would notice they’d say hey Roger you seem different

“Been eating salad,” Roger would grunt at them, but inside he’d be beaming.

Of course he was pushed by his brothers’ calling him a ‘Tom’. Chuckleheads.

    gary gulrud (dd7d4e)

  62. sheldon is stuck on “code-word” semantics because he has NO defensible position from which to applaud and support Williams’ behavior.

    Icy (95c5f7)

  63. “Did that seem incredible to you? Is this something you find hard to believe? That white folks could have numbers as to be on a “plantation”?”

sheldon – An exit poll of 1,070 people that in the age breakdown section shows only 84-91% of white people voting for McCain in an election in which 2,000,000 or so voted. Assuming those exit polls were just as good as the ones in Wisconsin last week, nope, I’m not buying your spin for a minute.

    daleyrocks (bf33e9)

  64. sheldon – Obama did, however, do 2% better in Alabama with his racial polarization campaign than Senator Aristoslacker did against Bush in 2004, so he had that going for him, which is nice.

  66. “sheldon – An exit poll of 1,070 people that in the age breakdown section shows only 84-91% of white people voting for McCain in an election in which 2,000,000 or so voted.”

Then there’s the other states of the south. But why is this such an incredible number for you to believe? does it take you out of your plantation? Do you find it offensive that white folks could be the ones on the plantation?

How do you think they come up with numbers to show how black folks vote, and how is that different than how they come up with them for white folks?

    sheldon (77ac66)

  67. Juan Williams is on the Fox payroll, so it’s his job to be the punching bag. That said, I don’t think they put words in his mouth, I think they intentionally hired him because his capacity is so limited.

He does try to get some decent points in sometimes, but every time he comes close, Hannity talks right over him on purpose. So it does call into question his willingness to be disrespected over and over for money.

A lot of viewers don’t realize what’s going on in Hannity’s show but real liberals not only condemn Holder but have abandoned Obama in great numbers.

So Malkin and Hannity are right in this clip, Holder should go, but this is idiotically simplistic. Holder never should have been appointed in the first place. Any thinking American knows Holder was rotten from the get.

But Republicans had nothing they could use against him publicly till the Fast and Furious cover up. For all the pardons he sold, the Republicans sold more, for all the protection of criminal bankers he did, Republicans did worse. For all the selective prosecution Holder did, Gonzales and Mukasey did worse.

So the whole point behind this segment (which went viral) was painting a canvas – they want the public to not only know Holder/Obama are rotten, but that liberals support and defend them.

That’s why this propaganda is so sneaky, because it works – the liberals Hannity trots out are LINOs, paid by Fox to always lose. Ailes or Hannity would never let an actual liberal anywhere near their microphones.
