Blogging Note

I believe Patterico upgraded the WordPress software and there are a few glitches. The spam filter is acting up, the comment preview isn’t working, and Patterico turned into Alex for one post.

I’m sure this will be smoothed out soon. I don’t handle the updates – it’s way above my pay grade! – but I know when they occur and it’s not uncommon for there to be glitches. I also know that Patterico spends more time than we realize making this work for us. So even when you think he’s not here, he is.

  1. Patterico . . . So even when you think he’s not here, he is.

    Is Patterico the new messiah?

Is he putting out a tryptych for 2009?

  2. For his efforts I thank Patterico. This blog has interesting posts and, for the most part, interesting comments.

  3. Patterico, DRJ and the other guest posters are doing an amazing job. Keep on keepin’ on.

It’s also interesting to watch this blog deal with WordPress. Mike K. has a hosted WP blog, and I soon will have one. Any advice or hints you can give on how to work best with WP would be nearly as much appreciated as the content of your posts.

  4. Glitches – you are right. The rest of post #1 should read as a link – Obama’s going to be pissed.

  5. BTW, Blogworld is less than a month from now, in Lost Wages. That would be a good place to find tips from fellow WordPressers. Even with the Internet, face to face meetings still have their uses.
