Zimmerman Acquittal: The Fringe Left Reacts with Threats to Kill Zimmerman
Last night I hopped on Twitter to see the reaction to the Zimmerman verdict, and was not particularly surprised to see a number of death threats and other threats of violence. Here are a few of them:
Here is a blowup of the picture he had:
This fella has since protected his tweets. But he did get this positive feedback from someone else eager to go kill Zimmerman:
This nice gentleman has established a Facebook page where he is soliciting pledges to kill Zimmerman:
KILL GEORGE ZIMMERMAN pledges here or Facebook ( My 2 BTC ) https://t.co/GFgvmdRpaN
— professor rat (@pro2rat) July 14, 2013
Here is the Facebook page, which I assume will be deleted in due course, so I am providing this screenshot:
Still more:
Yup I'm finna kill this nigga George Zimmerman very soon, who ridin wit me?

And more:

And more:
And more:
In case there is any doubt about what is meant here, the user helpfully clarified:
Many of the tweets have been deleted, whether by the users or by Twitter, so we are having to make do with screenshots. If any of the embeds above disappear, let me know, and I will replace them with screenshots.
You might wonder why I am giving these people attention. The main reason is because I would like law enforcement to give them attention. Several of these tweets strike me as true threats that should lead to an arrest.
Anyone interested in learning these people’s true identities and reporting them to law enforcement, go ahead. I have little faith that law enforcement will do anything, because law enforcement doesn’t seem to care about anything that happens on the Internet unless the President himself is being threatened. But if anyone decides to make a report, I am preserving some of the evidence right here.
In addition, the comments are revealing about our culture. There were many, many more tweets along the lines of “I hope Zimmerman will be killed” — such as this tweet:
Or this:
I couldn’t possibly embed or screenshot them all.
Why are people reacting like this? Well, in large part, it’s because many people are just terrible people. But there is one factor contributing to the way people feel: Big Media.
There is a villain in this case. It's the media.
— Allahpundit (@allahpundit) July 14, 2013
No matter how much contempt you have for the media in all this, you don't have enough
— Allahpundit (@allahpundit) July 14, 2013
Let’s be thankful that, so far, Big Media’s rank distortions about this case have not resulted in riots, but just a lot of threats on Twitter and Facebook.
. . . at least so far.
UPDATE: Twitchy has an excellent and distressing roundup of threats to kill Zimmerman jurors.
UPDATE x2: Twitchy has also collected several other threats to kill Zimmerman here and here. There are more reactions to the charming tweet by “Gunzo” in the latter link.
It will be interesting to see if even one prosecution results from any of these tweets.

htom (412a17) — 7/14/2013 @ 2:17 pmRight here, this nastiness, this is what killed Trayvon. The idea that you should behave this way when you see something you don’t like. George did nothing that justified the attack from Trayvon. That attack ended with Trayvon dead, and frankly I think Trayvon was headed in that direction eventually no matter what George did that night.
Those out there who want to ‘honor Trayvon’ should start having that brave, honest talk about race that Eric Holder won’t have. There is an epidemic in this country where a lot of young men are taught to behave in ways that lead to fatherless kids, violence, drugs, and death.

I’ve seen more attacks on the jury than I’m comfortable with, and I was surprised to hear that the protests were very loud and close to where the jury deliberated. I guess Florida law enforcement was OK with that kind of thing.
If the jurors are smart they will try to stay under the radar.

Elephant Stone (6a6f37) — 7/14/2013 @ 2:37 pmCan you imagine if it was the other way around, and it was a black man who had killed a white boy in self-defense, and some “Red Necks” were twitting pictures like the above of themselves – openly threatening his life with semi-automatic weapons, calling for his death, and asking someone to kill him??? You’d have Eric Holder and the DOJ, the FBI, and even the CIA, pouncing on them and arresting them, and Janet Napolitano and the NSA hunting them down as “Domestic Terrorists”! But since it is blacks doing it in Zimmerman’s case, I guess that makes it all right! Nothing to see here folks…

redc1c4 (403dff) — 7/14/2013 @ 2:51 pmJuxtapose these statements against the tweets heading this thread.
“Trayvon Benjamin Martin is dead because he and other black boys and men like him are not seen as a person, but a problem,” the Rev. Dr. Raphael G. Warnock, the senior pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta, told his congregation on Sunday morning. In an interview afterward, Dr. Warnock put the killing in the context of a month in which the Supreme Court voted 5-4 to, in effect, gut the Voting Rights Act.
“The last few weeks have been pivotal to the consciousness of black America,” he said. “Black men have been stigmatized. We’ve become a stigmatized mascot for social misery and the canvas on which America projects all of its problems.”
(From today’s NYT article linked on the previous thread.)
elissa (30a415) — 7/14/2013 @ 2:53 pmI find it deliciously ironic that the person calling for Zimmerman’s lynching that twitted: “Some times you have to take the law into your own hands…” is using the same twisted rationale that lay behind the burning crosses in Jim Crow days….

Leviticus (2c236c) — 7/14/2013 @ 2:58 pmThe self-stigmatizing Rev. speaks, as they can’t help themselves. Black boys and men wouldn’t be seen as a problem if they didn’t think they had the right to attack people because they don’t like the way someone is looking at them.
Which is why TM is dead. Anyone who’s trying to bust open someone’s skull on a sidewalk is a problem. GZ dealt with his in the only way he could. As the use of force expert Mr. Root testified, he had no other options.

narciso (3fec35) — 7/14/2013 @ 3:10 pmWhat I meant by my previous post, “black boys and men…think they ha[ve] a right to attack people because they don’t like the way someone is looking at them,” is that it’s people like this Rev. who convinces them they do. Just like the mayor of Atlanta who publicly states a black kid puts his life on the line by walking to the corner store.
That has nothing to do with why TM was shot, and why GZ was acquitted. TM attacked GZ and GZ argued self-defense. The jury found the evidence supported GZ, not these BS narratives like this reverend’s or more precisely the state.
Because atrocious authority figures like this reverend, and the Atlanta mayor, refuse to acknowledge the facts and hold people like TM accountable, then they’re fanning the flames that will produce more TMs. Because according to them TM did nothing wrong.
So why wouldn’t black boys and men think they have the right to attack white people who look at them wrong?
Steve57 (996952) — 7/14/2013 @ 3:11 pmFace it, racists, if Trayvon Martin had been white—or at least a white black—you know that George Zimmerman would never have fired his weapon !

Pons Asinorum (8ce71a) — 7/14/2013 @ 3:16 pmI think there’s an aspect of this that has been missed; the decline of (unconstitutional) gun control laws seems to me to mean that we are going to see more poor, non-WASP persons carrying guns for self-protection. Which in turn means that we are going to see more cases of young, poor, brown males of just the age to think they are invincible getting shot in self defense by people who don’t really fit the White Oppressor / Black Oppressed narrative.
In light of that I find the stories of charities aimed at getting (for example) shotguns into the hands of citizens who cannot otherwise afford them VERY interesting.

But Britain has a different story and history from that of the US — and, in turn, different demographic. Yet it too is in the midst of policies and cultural influences that are undermining its socio-economic foundation, including so-called “Euro-sclerosis.” It too is showing fractures that are not too dissimilar from that of America’s Nidal-Hasan-ization.
The human trait that has led to modern-day liberalism knows no boundaries, affects all peoples. And, regrettably, when I look at the long-term history of nations like France or Argentina (places whose populace is predominantly of Euro descent), I don’t think the disease of modern-day liberalism ever is going to go away.

Former Conservative (6e026c) — 7/14/2013 @ 3:34 pmThat’s not how the NAACP and the ACLU see it. First, anyone who can be made to fit the White oppressor/Black victim narrative will be drafted into it against their will, no matter how badly they don’t fit it.
Second, about those unconstitutional gun laws:
http://www.miamiherald.com/2013/07/14/3500052_p3/federal-case-against-zimmerman.html
It doesn’t matter what the Constitution says. We’re too racist to own guns.
I don’t think this aspect of the story has been missed. GZ getting acquitted doesn’t change the White Oppressor/Black Oppressed narrative. No amount of evidence ever will.
GZ’s race didn’t change the narrative. The fact that SYG laws had nothing to do with this didn’t change the narrative. The fact that GZ was acquitted on centuries old self-defense legal principles won’t change the narrative. And self-defense shootings that don’t fit the narrative won’t change the narrative because they won’t enter into the one-way lecture the grievance mongers will call a conversation.
All we can hope to do is to reduce the number of people living inside the bubble that buys into the narrative into impotence. Unless Obama imports a new population susceptible to the narrative.

Steve57 (996952) — 7/14/2013 @ 6:03 pmThat wasn’t the part of the post that our friends and I are quibbling over. Keep up.
His friends: Frick, Frack and his left hand.
Kevin M (bf8ad7) — 7/14/2013 @ 6:03 pmThe bulk of the left did what their “leaders” told them to do.
Rob Crawford (49918b) — 7/14/2013 @ 6:03 pmOK, Ian, you’re “just” a bigot.
I suspect you’ll say something racist before this thread closes, though. Seen your script played out before.
Rob Crawford (49918b) — 7/14/2013 @ 6:04 pmNice double negative. That means you think Rob knows exactly what a racist is when he sees one.
Steve57 (996952) — 7/14/2013 @ 6:05 pmOne thing Gunzo did with his tweet is show that his very Twitter handle is a lie: ‘GunzoAintShit’? Yes, he is, that’s exactly what he is.
Dr. Weevil (40c627) — 7/14/2013 @ 6:05 pmI really don’t understand why a young man of color is being accused of being a racist.
Ag80 (eb6ffa) — 7/14/2013 @ 6:05 pmIan G. – Is your speculation anything like saying Rev. Al and Jesse Jackson profit from racism, that’s why they continue to promote it?
daleyrocks (bf33e9) — 7/14/2013 @ 6:16 pmIs it any surprise that Leroy Hill, Chad Johnson, Elvis Dumervil, Aaron Berry, Caleb King, Koa Misi & co.’s fellow NFL players don’t like it when people can shoot back?
What if the next cab driver Jonathon Amaya decides to choke has a gun?

elissa (30a415) — 7/14/2013 @ 7:30 pmSo, a trial ends with a verdict that some people disagree with and and only solution is to kill the defendant to make it better?
Let us see how that works out.
Ag80 (eb6ffa) — 7/14/2013 @ 7:32 pmSo I’ll market “Creepy Crackers” instead.
Leave out the obscenity? Sure.
Now I can advertize in the better journals.
papertiger (c2d6da) — 7/14/2013 @ 8:05 pmHey, GZ started it! By, err, looking the wrong way at TM. Clearly anything that happens after that is the fault of the white Hispanic.
Steve57 (996952) — 7/14/2013 @ 8:05 pmIs this the anti-OJ trial? Are blacks saying the same as whites after the verdict?
Rioting aside.
AZ Bob (c11d35) — 7/14/2013 @ 8:09 pmSO if I were to name my product “Creepie Ass Crackers1”, would that be enough to avoid a copywrite infringement?
papertiger (c2d6da) — 7/14/2013 @ 8:11 pmpapertiger I always recommend a solid business plan and yours is not clear.
So, are you focusing more on the nutritious delicious cracker products themselves– or are they more a gimmick for a specific target market? Like Billy beer. Details matter.

Who would buy it?
We wouldn’t want it to actually taste like ass.
papertiger (c2d6da) — 7/14/2013 @ 8:43 pmLOL.
Mark (c7cc04) — 7/14/2013 @ 8:44 pmIs this the anti-OJ trial? Are blacks saying the same as whites after the verdict?
AZ Bob, I think you’re actually thinking of not the OJ verdict, but the one that involved Rodney King. So much lunacy has occurred in America over the past 20-or-so years, particularly in LA, that it’s hard to keep things straight.
Mark (c7cc04) — 7/14/2013 @ 8:49 pmIt’s a traditional business model —
1) Creepie Ass Crackers!
htom (412a17) — 7/14/2013 @ 8:52 pm2) ?
3) Profit!
Strike that. I guess it was the OJ verdict that actually delighted the racial-grievance, Al-Sharpton crowd, not the one out of Simi Valley. I was thinking of the type of trial outcomes that are most likely to trigger riots, and any verdict that upsets the Travyon-would-be-my-son-if-I-had-a-son crowd is, in fact, the flip side of the OJ verdict.
Mark (c7cc04) — 7/14/2013 @ 8:54 pmschadenfreude would be my first choice…

Tanny O'Haley (ffc3bf) — 7/14/2013 @ 11:13 pmWell, it didn’t take that long. There was a riot in Oakland on Saturday night. But really, how much lead time do you need to fire up a race riot in Oakland.
And then tonight in LA:
http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-me-ln-trayvon-martin-protesters-block-freeway-clash-with-lapd-20130714,0,2907898.story?track=rss&dlvrit=649324
I think the alternate headline should have been “People stupid enough to believe what they see on MSNBC or read in rags like LAT lash out in anger when reality strikes”
It seems the editors slipped up:
According to the Democrat/MFM complex propaganda stylebook it should be “A protest Saturday night in Oakland
Steve57 (996952) — 7/14/2013 @ 11:23 pmturned violentwas mostly peaceful…”In addition to that, there were these assaults tonight in Oakland.
http://www.sfgate.com/bayarea/article/Protests-in-S-F-Oakland-over-Zimmerman-verdict-4665088.php
Apparently unlike the LAT the SF Chronicle follows the Democrat/MFM complex propaganda stylebook to the letter.
Steve57 (996952) — 7/15/2013 @ 12:14 am“Spirited and mostly peaceful” means that in addition to just a small band of revelers beating up whitey the rest of the crowd refrained from lighting fires, slashing tires, and breaking windows.
The crowd of “spirited and mostly peaceful civil rights activists” restricted their more physical expressions of free speech to throwing rocks at the cops.
Steve57 (996952) — 7/15/2013 @ 12:18 amIt is sad that there are, allegedly, people out there who are willing to tweet this. The second worst part is that we are giving them even more attention by essentially retweeting these messages. The third worst part is that you all don’t really get that there are people on the right who are arming themselves against the gum’ment, essentially doing exactly the same thing as those from whom you are creating this example.
Ian G. (bd7302) — 7/15/2013 @ 5:25 amExactly. Because minding your own business and “bunkering down” in a lawful manner is essentially the same as threatening to kill people and inciting others to do the same. (Do I really need an /sarc tag here?)
I sometimes wish malevolent stupidity really did make heads explode. Then, real life intrudes and I dredge up as much pity as I can before going back to ignoring you. In all your personas.
Stashiu3 (e7ebd8) — 7/15/2013 @ 5:35 amWhat we have here is a failure to communicate.
ropelight (10beb0) — 7/15/2013 @ 5:42 amKey phrase: In a lawful manner.
Ian G. (bd7302) — 7/15/2013 @ 5:44 amAre you aware of an active insurgency that is attacking our government here at home? Made up of people on the right? Or is your moral equivalency a bunch of BS, as usual?
Stashiu3 (e7ebd8) — 7/15/2013 @ 5:58 am“sitting in lawn chairs waving American flags”

Ian G. (bd7302) — 7/15/2013 @ 6:13 amBehold the racist political left’s public tantrum in response to their failure to pervert justice and condemn a White Hispanic for the imaginary hate crime of defending himself against a violent street thug on drugs who just happened to look like our imperial President.

Gramps2 (6ea724) — 7/15/2013 @ 6:22 amSteve57 has found himself a new hero!
Gramps2 (6ea724) — 7/15/2013 @ 6:26 am#134, Perry twists truth into hate, he stalks this and other sites where he’s been banned for cause, he manufactures quotations to bolster blatant lies, and he threatens to inform on the employers of commenters who disagree with his nostrums or who expose his perfidious propaganda.
He’s a man devoid of reason, lacking in basic human compassion, and living in a cesspool of hare and bitterness. What he hates most is what he has become.
ropelight (10beb0) — 7/15/2013 @ 6:35 amA other Moronic Convergence. Sweet.
Stashiu – it just wants to call people racists. It is what they do.
JD (b63a52) — 7/15/2013 @ 6:44 amDimwit accuses Stashiu3 of saying ‘thug violence is left wing violence’; Perry accuses ropelight of ‘concentrating a lot of hatred into one sentence’.
Icy (5a03be) — 7/15/2013 @ 6:47 amIs there ANY possible way that either of you could debate based on what people have ACTUALLY said and done?
More hatred from ropelight:
This is simply who he is!
Gramps2 (6ea724) — 7/15/2013 @ 6:47 amPerry and Tye are profoundly dishonest people. And creepy obsessed.
JD (b63a52) — 7/15/2013 @ 6:49 amThis is exactly what I have done, Icy, and what ropelight has not done. Just reread his latest personal attack on me, as if his behavior is something we should all admire.
Gramps2 (6ea724) — 7/15/2013 @ 6:52 am#139, Perry continues to twist truth into hate. Wagonwheel/Gramps2/Rebus is simply not who he is, they’re masks for Perry the plagiarist, liar, stalker, hater, reactionary boor, and sub-standard human bean.
ropelight (10beb0) — 7/15/2013 @ 6:55 amYou are insane JD. I have been called a racist explicitly on this site on several occasions, and when I post a link about Fox News racism you lament that I am calling you a racist?
Ian G. (bd7302) — 7/15/2013 @ 6:57 amSet me up? You’re delusional. Point out where I intimated in any way, anywhere, at any time what you just attributed to me. You can’t because it is a lie. You continue to disgust me because you never comment honestly. And never have, under any name. You make it difficult to pity you. I’ll have to work on it.
It’s interesting you made that particular lie though.
Stashiu3 (e7ebd8) — 7/15/2013 @ 6:58 amHe’s a man devoid of reason, lacking in basic human compassion
Researchers (as far as I know) have never really greatly delved into the way that biases affecting a person’s type of political orientation and amount of common sense are innate, intrinsic, probably coded into a person’s brain in a manner similar to the way his hair or eye color is. However, I do remember reading one study several years ago on identical twins, which theorized that a person’s politics could, in fact, be an inherent feature of that person.
Of course, many people’s sense of good or bad, right or wrong — and their perceptions of conservative or liberal — will change throughout their lifetime, so ideology isn’t an acquired, unmovable trait in all cases. But extremists probably are that way for genetic reasons, and if they’re leftists at an old age, they probably were that way when quite young too. So a ton of bricks could fall on their head, and they’d still be deficient in fundamental logic and basic common sense.
Mark (c7cc04) — 7/15/2013 @ 6:59 amTime to take my own advice and go back to ignoring the hateful liars. A momentary weakness.
Stashiu3 (e7ebd8) — 7/15/2013 @ 7:02 amIan g @ 123 made a profound statement:
It all boils down to the fact that we Americans must oppose extremism on all sides with rational debate, discussion, and decision making.
Incidents like this racial profiling and Congressional obstruction of democratic processes only inflame and poison the atmosphere.
Gramps2 (6ea724) — 7/15/2013 @ 7:05 amI meant I was setting you up for a major sanctimonious stand… claiming a correlation between crime rates and political party, as if liberal idealism involves murder. I wouldn’t put it past some people to throw that sentiment out there.
Ian G. (bd7302) — 7/15/2013 @ 7:06 amClearly more personal animosity from ropelight as he digs himself a deeper hole. And note well, there is no evidence provided. This is neither the place or time for such a personal vendetta.
Gramps2 (6ea724) — 7/15/2013 @ 7:09 amIt is what you do, Tye. Sorry if it makes you uncomfortable. If people disagree with you they are racist, gay haters, etc. it is who you are. It is what you do.
And you and Perry are adding another identity to the trash can. Enough of this lying, dishonesty, and mendacity fro you 2. You flaunt the hosts rules, and if you manage to be enough of a jackhole to piss off Stash, then your time has come to another close. We won’t say goodbye, because we know you are both obsessive stalkers, and will be back. Wash. Rinse. Repeat.
JD (b63a52) — 7/15/2013 @ 7:09 amWagonwheel/Gramps2/Rebus is simply not who he is, they’re masks for Perry
Do you deny being Perry? Do you deny using now over 19 different IP addresses to get around your prior banning here?
JD (b63a52) — 7/15/2013 @ 7:11 amIs there ANY possible way that either of you could debate based on what people have ACTUALLY said and done?

Rob Crawford (c55962) — 7/15/2013 @ 7:27 amAccording to the Democrat/MFM complex propaganda stylebook it should be “A protest Saturday night in Oakland
turned violentwas mostly peaceful…”I guess it’s a good thing that such segments of the MSM at least didn’t insert their favorite words of “unexpected” or “unexpectedly” (certainly when the economic news they’re reporting isn’t all milk and honey). Such as “there was unexpected violence at the rally” or “the crowd became unexpectedly violent.”
Mark (c7cc04) — 7/15/2013 @ 7:35 amI don’t believe I have called anyone a racist. If I called somebody a gay hater it is because they dropped a rather homophobic comment.
Ian G. (bd7302) — 7/15/2013 @ 7:38 amKeep in mind that, while you may disagree with my comment, it was you all that started with the personal attacks on this thread. It seems rather strange that you would complain about personal attacks.
Ian G. (bd7302) — 7/15/2013 @ 7:41 amComing from a profoundly dishonest troll, that was just rich in irony, “Ian”. You were trying to “set up” Stashiu with one of your super awesome SQUIRREL nonsense points.
JD (b63a52) — 7/15/2013 @ 7:46 amYou are clueless JD. I was setting him up to come back with a sanctimonious comment. What’s your opinion of these tweets?
Ian G. (bd7302) — 7/15/2013 @ 7:48 amPreening and sanctimony are things you know well.
JD (b63a52) — 7/15/2013 @ 7:56 amWhat’s your opinion of these tweets? Isn’t that what this thread is about? Or would you rather personally attack me while claiming that I am attacking you?
Ian G. (bd7302) — 7/15/2013 @ 7:58 amBuh-bye Tye
The tweets are exactly what I expected. The race-baiters got their people all fired up over an imaginary scandal, and now the civil left is marching In the streets, burning things, throwing tampons, staging mob rule like they did in Wisconsin and Texas, and apologizing for the rapes and violence and lawlessness of Occupy. Actually, since the verdict, I am surprised at how little actual violence there has been. Bravo.
JD (b63a52) — 7/15/2013 @ 8:06 am163-Poke a bear with a stick, complain that the bear got angry. Rinse, repeat.
Disappointment when the bear doesn’t attack.
Ian G. (bd7302) — 7/15/2013 @ 8:09 amPeople aren’t bears. They’re SUPPOSED to act above a purely instinctual level.
(And… there’s your racist statement. You consider some groups little more than animals.)
Rob Crawford (c55962) — 7/15/2013 @ 8:14 amSo Ian thinks black people are like bears?
JD (edf57e) — 7/15/2013 @ 8:24 amSurprised is not the same as disappointed. That is the cute little kind of passive-aggressive asshattery we expect from Tye, like trying to set up Stashiu. It will be sadly missed.
JD (edf57e) — 7/15/2013 @ 8:27 amIan G. is simply a lying troll.
SPQR (03c379) — 7/15/2013 @ 8:32 amThe tweets are disgusting. The tweets are nauseating. The tweets are harmful to a civil society and possibly incite others to violence even if the originating twit is posing for effect and mostly spouting off. But because stupid morons continually and increasingly feel completely comfortable using twitter to out themselves both criminally and anti-socially means they should not be ignored. The tweeters of these ugly tweets are, in fact, representing part of the American fabric of our time too. Their presence and mindset should be out in the open for all to see. The shocking horrible tweets are original, unedited, real time, first person reporting of a “viewpoint” and “attitude” in ways you’ll almost never see from the print and broadcast media which increasingly present nothing even resembling balanced or honest reporting of well, much of anything except sports.
elissa (a5cf21) — 7/15/2013 @ 8:38 amAnd a racist.
Rob Crawford (c55962) — 7/15/2013 @ 8:58 amFor a perfect example of MSM spewing racist bilge in the guise of exposing racism click on Ian G’s link at comment #132 to Eric Altman’s March 19, 2012 article in The Nation titled: Right-Wing Racism: Past, Present, and Future.
ropelight (10beb0) — 7/15/2013 @ 9:01 amOops, I misspelled Eric Alterman’s name. Here’s some info on his background:
The Nation’s Eric Alterman is also a columnist for MSNBC.com, he’s published in Rolling Stone, Mother Jones, and the Sunday (London) Express, he’s a senior fellow at Media Matters for America, and a former Adjunct Professor of Journalism at NYU and Columbia.
ropelight (10beb0) — 7/15/2013 @ 9:34 amBan him for disagreement! says toonces
Ian G. (bd7302) — 7/15/2013 @ 9:40 am166.So Ian thinks black people are like bears?
Comment by JD (edf57e)
Look up the word ‘analogy’. You realize that the book “Animal Farm” wasn’t really about talking animals, right? Of course you don’t. You wouldn’t know an allegory if it hit you upon your damaged little head.
Ian G. (bd7302) — 7/15/2013 @ 9:44 amIan G. is upset because this blog is calling attention to the racist, violent and crazy tweets of his ilk which he and the media would rather be swept under the rug as usual?
Cry me a river.
ROFLcopter!
daleyrocks (bf33e9) — 7/15/2013 @ 10:02 amDo you mean the racism demonstrated by Fox News that I linked to earlier daleyrocks? I do not want that swept under the rug. Do you?
Ian G. (bd7302) — 7/15/2013 @ 10:06 amThe light at the end of his rope wrote:
Rope, rope, rope, didn’t you know? Liberals can not be racist, by (their own) definition.
Please make a note of this; there will be a test later.
The obvious Dana (3e4784) — 7/15/2013 @ 10:06 amIan G. @176 – I was clearly referring back to your comment #123. Are you awake?
daleyrocks (bf33e9) — 7/15/2013 @ 10:12 amTye – you have never been banned for disagreeing. Nor has anyone else.
JD (edf57e) — 7/15/2013 @ 10:14 amIs the Ian G. who calls someone else ‘homophobic’ on this thread (comment 158) the same Ian G. who wrote this to Gus on the previous thread (link)?
“You can see my nose? I suppose I’m not shocked that you stalk and stare at men.”
That had the same hash Ian G. was using on this thread up through comment 85, though for whatever reason he has since changed to a different one. Looks like Ian G. needs to get the beam out of his own eye before he criticizes others for homophobia.
Dr. Weevil (40c627) — 7/15/2013 @ 10:19 amIan G’s believes Alterman’s piece is damning while it is yet another in a long line of standard left-wing attack pieces using cherry picked quotes to demonstrate racism of the right because they hear racial dog whistles in everything, even if it the truth and quoting somebody’s own words against them represents an unfair racial attack, but calling a conservative a racist, hey that’s fair 24/7.
daleyrocks (bf33e9) — 7/15/2013 @ 10:23 amI am embarrassed that Ian G., Gramps2 and tifosa are Americans, if indeed they are.
daleyrocks (bf33e9) — 7/15/2013 @ 10:25 amWeevil, it is not surprising that Ian G expressed homophobic remarks. In my experience, those from the left who are going on about racism and homophobia are projecting.
Certainly that has been a huge factor with the Zimmerman case, where pundits moan about the race of jurors, ignore that the prosecutor was caught selecting jurors on the basis of race, mention the race of the defendant over and over, and then complain about racism they have no evidence for. It’s projection.
Dustin (303dca) — 7/15/2013 @ 10:26 am180-Read the whole thread. You are actually disparaging homosexuals with your insinuation that all male stalkers must indeed by homosexual. Why do you hate gays, gussy?
Ian G. (bd7302) — 7/15/2013 @ 10:26 amI’m not sure Angela Corey thinks that way. I believe that she is sincere in her maliciousness. It is in her character and she found the job which helps her fullfill herself. Scott and Biondi are the hypocritical, cynical politicians who threw Zimmerman to the rabid b***h for political reasons.
nk (875f57) — 7/15/2013 @ 10:28 amWroing thread.
nk (875f57) — 7/15/2013 @ 10:29 amIan G. – Do you believe the NAACP profits from racism and that’s why they promote racism, just speculating?
daleyrocks (bf33e9) — 7/15/2013 @ 10:29 amIn my experience, people named ‘Gus’ are invariably male, so if someone says that a Gus “stalks and stares at men”, he would inevitably be accusing a man of being both gay and a criminal. Everyone here can see you’re a bigot, “Ian G.”, and the fact that you don’t realize it makes you a stupid bigot – also a hypocrite, since you accuse others of the homophobia you exhibit yourself.
Dr. Weevil (40c627) — 7/15/2013 @ 10:33 amTye is a troll just trying to dirty the thread, not to honestly express a dissenting opinion. Just break wind in his general direction.
nk (875f57) — 7/15/2013 @ 10:43 am188-I refuse to explain this again, so read the thread where I actually explained this.
Ian G. (bd7302) — 7/15/2013 @ 10:43 amThe same racist Attorney General that minimized the case against Black Panther thugs caught on video tape dressed in black uniforms and wielding clubs to intimidate voters at the polls in Philadelphia, is the same racist Attorney General now on national TV pushing renewed investigations of George Zimmerman.
He’s the same racist Attorney General who refused to cooperate in the Congressional investigation of Fast-n-Furious and got himself voted in contempt of Congress. The same AG who can’t quite bring himself to investigate the murder of Americans in Benghazi, or IRS for White House inspired political corruption, or the associated cover-ups, but he can rush right out to give sanctimonious, racist, and self-serving pronouncements designed to inflame already whipped-up racists to even greater levels of destruction and violence.
Eric Holder isn’t upholding the rule of law, he’s inciting mob violence.
ropelight (10beb0) — 7/15/2013 @ 10:44 amAnyone can follow my link – or just back up to the previous thread – and see how patheticly dishonest your attempts to explain your bigotry were, Ian G. Which makes you a stupid, hypocritical and shameless bigot.
Dr. Weevil (40c627) — 7/15/2013 @ 10:45 amCorrect. Ian G., I don’t think those who continuously personally attack their political opposition, do not realize how weak they reveal themselves to be. I would cite Dana as an example of a political opponent who always steps up to the debate. He should be considered a model for others to follow.
Gramps2 (6ea724) — 7/15/2013 @ 11:14 amComment by ropelight (10beb0) — 7/15/2013 @ 10:44 am
Eric Holder isn’t upholding the rule of law, he’s inciting mob violence.
I think Eric Holder planned to quit before it looked like any successor would have confirmation trouble. It is said Janet Napolitano only resigned when she learned she would not be nominated as Attorney General.
I tend to think that what Harry Reid is planning today is because Eric Holder intends to quit. It won’t help his successor get confirmed.
If Eric Holder does quit that alone will improve things.
Sammy Finkelman (d22d64) — 7/15/2013 @ 11:18 amSo it’s OK to “wonder if the NRA is paying these people to tweet these things”, because that’s not a “personal attack”? It’s still a vile and contemptible thing to suggest, and Ian G. must know that most, if not all, of the tweets are coming from his side of the aisle.
Dr. Weevil (40c627) — 7/15/2013 @ 11:18 amAnd by the way, I agree with elissa @169 about the tweets Patterico has chosen to exhibit.
I wonder why there are people who would stoop this low?
Gramps2 (6ea724) — 7/15/2013 @ 11:24 amThere are people who would stoop this low because people like you, Gramps2 and Ian G., have encouraged them to do so.
SPQR (10ee3f) — 7/15/2013 @ 11:29 amSee Ian G’s comment at #52, his first I believe on this thread, where he blames threats to kill GZ on the National Rifle Association:
SPQR called him out at #54:
Then, at #55 Ian G. defended himself:
Ian G. is entitled to parse his own words and others are entitled to point to the actual record and to expose the deceptive and self-serving nature of a serial liar and two-face dipshit.
ropelight (10beb0) — 7/15/2013 @ 11:32 amJD called you a racist? On a good day he calls us all racists multiple times.
Ian, what makes you think you’re special? You got a problem dude. You’re ego trippin.
One other thing, “liberal idealism involves murder” — true.
papertiger (c2d6da) — 7/15/2013 @ 11:39 amFrom death panels to abortion clinics and every other point in between.
When they aren’t busy creating new and clever ways to directly kill us, they are find ways to indirectly kill us by destroying our businesses.
SPQR – Perry seems quite oblivious of the natural consequences of his, and the Left’s, incessant race-baiting.
JD (b63a52) — 7/15/2013 @ 11:42 am“Ian” is a special snowflake
JD (b63a52) — 7/15/2013 @ 11:46 amMore personal attacks by JD. I’m shocked.
Ian G. (bd7302) — 7/15/2013 @ 11:50 amBuh-bye, Tye
JD (b63a52) — 7/15/2013 @ 11:51 amAre you going to ban me because you keep personally attacking me? That’s weird.
Ian G. (bd7302) — 7/15/2013 @ 11:54 amSo lying by implication about the NRA (comment 52), and then trying to wiggle out of it by saying it was “Just speculation” (55) is less contemptible than calling a homophobic bigot with an excessively high opinion of himself a “snowflake”.
Dr. Weevil (40c627) — 7/15/2013 @ 11:55 amI’m sorry, not just a “snowflake” but a “special snowflake”. Not quite up there with slandering the entire membership of the NRA, is it? And fully earned by your snowflaky behavior here.
Dr. Weevil (40c627) — 7/15/2013 @ 11:56 amDr Weevil, BTW good to see you sir. You’ve been much missed.
SPQR (10ee3f) — 7/15/2013 @ 12:03 pmI am not doing anything that wasn’t done already, Tye. You were already banned. Trying to “set up” Stashiu was particularly silly, as he has more integrity in his toenail clippings than you could ever dream of having.
JD (b63a52) — 7/15/2013 @ 12:06 pmThanks, SPQR. I’ve been around, no longer blogging but commenting on the web. You’ve seen me here a lot more lately partly because it’s the second-best place to discuss the Zimmerman trial – I opened an account at Legal Insurrection just a couple of days ago and have been commenting there, too – partly because I can no longer comment at Althouse, which used to take up a lot of my time.
Dr. Weevil (40c627) — 7/15/2013 @ 12:11 pmAnd, since Perry’s back crying crocodile tears about personal attacks, let’s have a little look at Perry’s record on this thread. In response to my comment on the left’s hateful tweets (which is the topic) at #131:
Perry, in response and posing as Gramps2, launched a personal attack at #134:
Now, at #195 after much back and forth Perry the sanctimonious dimwit actually attempts to pay lip service in defense of fellow liar and serial troll, Ian G. but instead sullies himself with a steaming heap of (convoluted) hypocricy, by attacking those who continuously personally attack their political opposition while he himself is actually engaged in a personal attack. It’s who he is, it’s what he does, and it’s about all he’s got:
These 2 laughable baboons (and their fellow travelers) can’t help but reveal themselves for who and what they are: liars and racists, and pretty piss poor ones at that.
ropelight (10beb0) — 7/15/2013 @ 12:13 pmDr Weevil, granted my sentiment was a bit belated.
SPQR (10ee3f) — 7/15/2013 @ 12:16 pmThe so called “Mainstream Media” has lost no opportunity, all throughout this fracas, to demonize, excrutinize, and vilify George Zimmerman at every turn, even coining the absurd oxymoron “White Hispanic” to describe him, in order to ascribe racist motives to him.
Now it turns out they not only purposely white-washed Trayvon Martin’s image by showing pictures of him when he was twelve years old, portraying him as a cuddly, innocent, poor black kid, victim of a broken home, stigmatized by societal inequalities, who was “racially profiled” by a racist” George Zimmerman; but turned a blind eye to, and failed to report, that Martin was a juvenile delinquent in trouble at school, whose tweets show he was using and dealing in marihuana (for medicinal purposes only, I am sure), that he had sold guns, had gotten himself a “Gangsta’s” gold tooth, was deep into the whole “Hood” black sub-culture crap, and had reputation for violence according to his girlfriend! So much for the”Hoodie”he was wearing.
What is even more appalling is the fact that Judge Nelson’s “Kangaroo Court” during the Zimmerman trial – obviously in bed with the prosecution and the politicians in trying ensure a conviction to aquiesce the perpetually aggrieved black community, the anti-gun left, and the liberals, ruled said evidence “inadmissable in court”; lest it would deflate the victimization and lionizing of Martin, and jurors would come to the conclusion, as they inevitably did anyway, that, fearing for his life, George Zimmerman was well justified in shooting the punk!
Althor (b81d49) — 7/15/2013 @ 2:01 pmFirst, MSM propagandists heard his name, George Zimmerman, and never thought for a nano-second they didn’t have a genuine white guy on the hook. But, when it turned out he was Hispanic the racist media had no option but to pretend he was more white than Hispanic. So the NY Times tagged GZ as a member of a hated class of racial scapegoats: a White Hispanic.
Once MSM had abandoned objectivity and bought into teh narrative they voluntarily responded to the racists’ Siren’s call and willingly guzzled the spiked Kool-Aid then competed with each other to broadcast long out-of-date pictures of a youthful TraMar on TV to convince low-information zombies the aggressively violent young drugged out thug was really an angelic adolescent boy innocently walking home from a trip to the local (drug supermarket) 711 when he was set upon for no reason at all by a gun toting wannabe cop out for a thrill kill.
Once MSM had teh narrative set in concrete, once the dye was cast, Obama’s racist minions made sure local Florida authorities toed the line, abandoned their professional and personal integrity, and ignored standard constitutional protections long established to shield individual Americans from the heavy-hand of government persecution.
Even with a corrupt Special Prosecutor and a blatantly biased so-called Judge they still couldn’t manage to persuade a jury to convict an innocent man.
Now, Obama and his corrupt racist lapdogs are out to find a way, any way, to string-up the White Hispanic they couldn’t railroad. They’re out for blood and they don’t care who gets hurt or how many Constitutional Rights they violate so long as a White Hispanic pays for the crime of exposing the racists in the Obama Administration.
ropelight (10beb0) — 7/15/2013 @ 3:21 pmI’m sure that when the first reports came over the wire, they just “knew” that George Zimmerman was a George Lincoln Rockwell knock-off, just had to be.
askeptic (b8ab92) — 7/15/2013 @ 3:39 pmNow, they have a bit of trouble squaring the circle of his actual ethnic background, and that he’s Blacker than Plessy.
here were no forst reports over the wire. It took several weeks for this to become known. This happened on Sunday February 26, 2012, and it didn’t even start to become known outside Sanford till about Friday, March 16, 2012, and in the subsequent week it got a lot more publicity.
It started maybe with a change.org petition.
This (or maybe something similar) was probably the first information the major media had about this:
http://www.change.org/petitions/prosecute-the-killer-of-our-son-17-year-old-trayvon-martin
Sammy Finkelman (f2d620) — 7/15/2013 @ 4:48 pmThe petition was launched on March 8, 2012.
At first Trayvon Martin was not identified. It took awhile for the father to even find out he was dead. He came back home from his date and Trayvon wasn’t there and he didn’t answer his cellphone. He thought maybe he had gone to the movies. So that started it.
Then he went to the wrong lawyers.
Sammy Finkelman (f2d620) — 7/15/2013 @ 4:53 pmJulison, who has been the publicist of this effort, was also involved with the Pigford settlement,
narciso (3fec35) — 7/15/2013 @ 4:56 pmWell, slime does tend to aggregate.
askeptic (2bb434) — 7/15/2013 @ 5:09 pmAngela Corey was interviwed by CBS News. They tried to get her to say she’d made a mistake by overcharging.
I think she said something about Zimmerman going out into the night armed, looking for I forgot what..
The truth is, nothing but murder would have fit the myth or urban legend that Trayvon Martin’s family and lawyers had created, and she had to charge murder two.
Sammy Finkelman (f2d620) — 7/15/2013 @ 5:14 pmPigford is also a ack of lies. But only for courts.
There are 5 Pigfords:
1) Original Pigford under the Clinton Administration.
2) Late Pigford
3) Indian Pigford
4) Hispanic Pigford
and
5) Pigford for Women.
Sammy Finkelman (f2d620) — 7/15/2013 @ 5:16 pm“What is this country coming to, when a’Brother’ can’t even go to the local 7-11 to deal some drugs, without some Hispanic “Cracker” cop-wanna-be tailing you!”
Eric Holder's Thoughts (b81d49) — 7/15/2013 @ 5:21 pmThs could be closer to the truth than you think. except that…he wasn’t trying to buy drugs (marijuana) at a 7-11. Drug dealers don’t have stores with signs. That created the whole problem, as he couldn’t find the address.
Sammy Finkelman (f2d620) — 7/15/2013 @ 5:27 pmTrue. People of his ilk walk around saying despicable lies about this case such as Zimmerman killed TM because TM committed the crime of walking through a gated community while black (Rep. Hank Johnson, D[mentia]-Guam tipping over), or for walking to the corner store while black (Atlanta mayor).
As if merely walking around while black caused GZ to spontaneously break-up in a broken nose, two black eyes, and scalp lacerations.
Perry et al spread lies about what happened, i.e. TM did nothing that would justify GZ’s response, and then wonder why easily enraged idiots would want to kill GZ when the jury clears the guy?
Steve57 (996952) — 7/15/2013 @ 5:29 pmSteve57 – I think mostly GZ was worried about TM injuring his hands beating on his head and his aim was probably just a little bit off in what was supposed to be a warning shot in between punches to the face, but nobody tells me nothing.
daleyrocks (bf33e9) — 7/15/2013 @ 5:37 pmClearly Juan Antonio Gonzalez only reacted this way because he was living every child’s nightmare. Being followed by a strange man. He’s suffered enough. I certainly hope the wise prosecutors realize the tender child should only get a slap on the wrist, perhaps a supervised group home at most, where he can recover from this nightmarish experience.
http://www.elpasotimes.com/tablehome/ci_21708260/el-paso-police-officer-dies-from-sept-25
In any case it’s clearly an example of how a judicious individual defends himself. One must wait until one has suffered sufficient injury to warrant the use of deadly force before resorting to it.
Clearly Officer Molina waited until he was justified to use deadly force in this case, while George Zimmerman acted too hastily based upon his non-life threatening injuries.
Steve57 (8d5173) — 7/15/2013 @ 5:59 pmNone of the above is meant as a slight against Officer Molina. His death was a tragedy. TM’s not quite the same.
I engage in sarcasm to vent my disgust with the anti-self defense, pro-black racists who would have preferred this result for GZ rather than stopping TM before it got to this point.
And those jokers who think TM was a child.
He was the same age as this guy. Should Juan Antonio Gonzalez be charged as a child, TM fans?
Steve57 (8d5173) — 7/15/2013 @ 6:04 pmI think that was a very helpful link, Steve57.
MD in Philly (f9371b) — 7/15/2013 @ 8:34 pmIt makes one very angry, though.
Steve57 – Do you have a picture of Juan Antonio Gonzalez, the suspect, as a 12 year-old?
daleyrocks (bf33e9) — 7/15/2013 @ 9:05 pmhttps://www.facebook.com/KGZ123, the Kill Zimmerman facebook page, is still active. It’s been at least a week, and I’ve seen this page publicized numerous times. I’ve even seen screenshots of emails where facebook says this page does not meet the ‘incites violence’ objection some have made.
In other words, this liberal company has all but endorsed the lynching of someone acquitted by trial.
Dustin (b2a7b7) — 7/21/2013 @ 2:16 pmUnfortunately, no. He’s “undocumented.” And by that I mean he’s got documents, they’re just forged. The kid he stole the SSN from looked like this at six.

The good news is the Obama administration still thinks Mr. Gonzalez might still be eligible for amnesty under the DREAM act.
