Golf = racism.

Chicago = racism.

Having a convention at the scheduled time = racism.

In case you missed the theme: you are a racist.

  10. Regular everyday normal American people are getting really sick of this meme. Its media coordination is now obvious even to non-political type laypeople. “Racism” has been overplayed. Badly. Unfortunately for the Axelrodians that’s often a problem with top down talking points. They are hard to control and hard to stop or tamp down once they’ve been launched. Obviously the Dems did not learn their lesson with OWS. In the wrong hands or wrong voices with undisciplined minds, talking points can be quite dangerous and counterproductive (looking at you Chrissy, Taure, Chelian, Sharpton, Larry O’Donnell etc. etc. etc.

    Comment by Bugg — 8/31/2012 @ 7:47 am

    Pardon the OT, but years ago I went looking to find some, since it was the almost official beer at UW-Madison when I was there (drinking responsibly, I might add), and we were going to watch the Badgers in a Bowl or the Packers and cook some Johnsonville Brats, but I saw they went out of business then were started up again. Can you get it now? Is it the same? Anybody of any color, white, black, painted white and red was allowed to drink it (if over 18 at the time).

    Thank you very much.

  13. O/T – One Bill Gil, is at it again:
    “…Democratic Assemblyman Gil Cedillo of Los Angeles said he wrote AB2189 to make roads safer, and allow young immigrants to drive to school and to work…”

    Now, since this was an EO by Obama, and could be rescinded by Romney, and/or overturned by the courts, will these licenses be found to be invalid if the above actions happen?
    And, why isn’t the DoJ getting an injunction against this as an infringement on their power to deal with immigration issues?

    Termed out, and denied ascension to Hilda Solis’ Congressional seat by Judy Chu, Gil announced in 2011 that he would run for a seat on the L.A. City Council. Prior to his tenure in the legislature, he was a member of SEIU (surprise, surprise).

    Now, the question is, after previous “One Bill Gil” legislation on this subject was vetoed by Gray Davis (twice), repealed by the legislature after Arnold Schwarzenegger replaced Davis, again vetoed by Arnold (twice), and subsequent attempts have failed passage on multiple occassions – will Moonbeam affix his signature to AB2189?

    Recipe belongs to someone but haven’t seen any of their labels for many years(tho I haven’t been looking).

  16. Doc, I ran across that item on AB2189 and knew that I had to write something, somewhere, immediately, to get it out of my system.
    I apologize for stepping on the O/T rules (what rules? there ain’t no rules in a knife fight!), but would never consider drinking a “Chicago” beer anyway. Just as, I am confident, natives of The Windy City would never consider drinking some of the suds native to L.A. that I drank in my youth – which also aren’t brewed anymore (Damn You, Bud/Coors/Miller…well, not Coors).

    So how long will Comcast let this farce continue ?

Surprisingly to me, it is readily found here in the home of hanging chads, Palm Beach county, Fl. So I wonder if it is perhaps a national brew? By the way, lots of controversy over fact that back in the twenties, Pottsville had an NFL team, the Maroons, which was robbed of a championship by the Commissioner, arbitrarily in some of our opinions.
    Saw elsewhere that libtard airhead Andrea Mitchell rambled on for the first three minutes of Rubio’s speech in order to criticize Eastwood. Glanced at some posts. One made me spew my coffee, asserting that Precious is still the best president we’ve ever had. Others state they will never watch another Eastwood movie. Funny how two of their heroes, Sean Penn and Tim Robbins won Oscars for the Eastwood-directed Mystic River. So I suppose they can boycott that too or the Eastwood ones Morgan Freeman was in (he is another black like Samuel L. Jackson who is firmly stuck up Obama’s rectum, except Freeman recognizes that Obama is mixed race.)

    Are you familiar with the story about when Jim Morrison and the Doors were on the Ed Sullivan Show? Apparently they were supposed to substitute some lyrics for “we can’t get much higher” because of the apparent drug reference.
    Morrison sang the song without changing it. Backstage, the show’s producer was furious and told the band “Mr. Sullivan wanted you for six more shows, but you’ll never work The Ed Sullivan Show again.” To which Morrison purportedly replied, “Hey, man. We just did the Sullivan show.”
    Somehow, if somebody told Eastwood he would never make another film, he would show the same amount of concern.

  51. The first time you’re called a racist for arguing against anything related to Obama is bewildering. Every time after is easier – you have to just cut the ties. I have 1/4 of the friends I had just a couple years ago.

    I lost a friend over a google search – in the summer of 2009 I recall Obama being clear about Medicare. No cuts. There was some disturbing to anyone who has worked in government talk about ‘fixing’ waste, fraud and abuse and taking away tests ‘you don’t even need’ but Obama was clear – no cuts. So when it was suggested that this wasn’t true I googled it and as hard as it was to believe there were cuts. But the references were buried at the very bottom of these long pieces from the AP. So when I tried to educate my friend with a google search and referenced the paragraph he didn’t handle it well. Claimed the AP was lying – and didn’t that have to be true given what Obama was saying everyday to this friend who is a programmer that works for a major corporation out of his house (who used to have either FNC or MSNBC on for most of the day). The media screwed themselves with Obama. How can anyone paying attention believe their spin anymore?

    Well, just tell the dopes that if Obama were no less black but he also was a conservative — a staunch Republican — they’d sneer he was an “Oreo,” an “Uncle Tom,” a “sell out,” and (to take a leaf from the humor of Richard Pryor) probably would want to initiate the “Back to Africa” movement.
