The Jury Talks Back

“We have a lot of shippers and a lot of people who work with the shippers who don’t want the Jones Act lifted.” — Donald J. Trump, explaining why it took him over a week to waive the Jones Act.

  1. Jones act aside, this whole issue with Puerto Rico is a mess, and again Trump’s mouth is causing unnecessary harm to his administration. Anyone even remotely skilled in politics would have simply focused on the mayors over-the-top comment about genocide while pointing out the Governor’s positive remarks to deflate the issue. But, in typical Trump fashion his ego won’t be denied, so he takes to Twitter to be an internet warrior and once again comes off looking like the rear end of a horse.

  2. Trump seems to listen to his generals, and they help him avoid disastrous mistakes. Too bad he didn’t listen to his General in Puerto Rico before tweeting. Maybe the General should tweet or do Fox & Friends instead.
