  1. He has been on a roll recently, DRJ. The worst part of the TOTUS-reading was that the oil spill was but a pretext for him to manipulate this crisis to advance his economy crushing Tax and Destroy plan.

  2. Seriously….it is a very, very, good thing that he is flummoxed. He won’t be able to do very much more damage until November. A committed and focused BHO is our worst enemy. I am pleased this is all a blur to him now.

  4. Or, as the MSM put it:

FACT CHECK: Obama inflates hopes in spill recovery
WASHINGTON (AP) — In assuring Americans on Tuesday that BP won’t control the compensation fund for Gulf oil spill recovery, President Barack Obama failed to mention that the government won’t control it, either.

  6. Obama’s speech for dummies … that pretty much sums up the target audience.

  7. One place we have already begun to take action is at the agency in charge of regulating drilling and issuing permits, known as the Minerals Management Service. Over the last decade, this agency has become emblematic of a failed philosophy that views all regulation with hostility – a philosophy that says corporations should be allowed to play by their own rules and police themselves. At this agency, industry insiders were put in charge of industry oversight. Oil companies showered regulators with gifts and favors, and were essentially allowed to conduct their own safety inspections and write their own regulations.

This is vintage classic Barcky. Blaming others. Battling strawpeople. Making shit up. Blaming others.

  8. Not just blaming others; blaming the previous administration. So much for “the buck stops with me”.

  9. This logic worked to get him elected, why not again?

    ‘Memba hopie and changie?

I am holding hope we get change in 2012.

Projecting onto an empty suit stings. And hurts young people.

  13. “I don’t know where I’m going, but follow me anyway.”

Obama’s speech? He managed to sum up Obama’s entire career in one sentence.

Well, FWIW, great to see someone putting some energy into teaching black kids in the inner city.

Bad news is what he was doing is near worthless in terms of imparting anything of value.

    Hard Work foments Achievement
    Achievement foments Confidence
    Confidence foments Positive Self Worth

Be nice if he did a rap song about working hard and stop propogandizing the kids…….

Might be higher because last time he had the dead-people-vote and the wierd-names-like-a;ghfj!-vote. Oh yeah, and the Disney-characters-vote.

  20. The more Obama talks, the more he reminds me of Adlai Stevenson – except the US public was a lot smarter back then, he never came close to winning. “Nobel Prize winning guy, Stephen Chu – c’mon down!”
