‘Stop The Steal’ Founder Apologizes After Being Accused Of Soliciting Sexual Photos From Minors

With MAGA Republicans seeing groomers behind every tree and at every school and pizza joint, did they ever once consider that the call was coming from inside their house:

“Stop the Steal” rally organizer Ali Alexander admitted to sending “inappropriate messages” as young men are going on the record to accuse him of asking them for nudes while they were minors.

The far-right MAGA activist posted a statement recently where he spoke broadly about his behavior and how he has been “battling with same-sex attraction.” Alexander has identified as bisexual in the past.

Here is a statement from Alexander:

I apologize for any inappropriate messages sent over the years. Forgive me. While having repented before God and confess at Church, I want my supporters and those involved to hear my apology today.

When I’ve flirted or others have flirted with me, I’ve flexed my credentials or dropped corny pick up lines. Other times, I’ve been careless and should’ve qualified those coming up to me’s identities during flirtatious banter at the start.

Nothing unlawful has occurred. Seeing false claims alongside real messages is a deceptive technique. Some have retracted and other individuals say were deceptively edited which is why I waited. All of this is designed by a Literal Predator to take advantage of admitted sins and hurt my allies. One recent individual attacked me (before recanting parts) to hide their own sexual identity struggles. I won’t attack back because these fights benefit no one’s redemption. Others have been fake accusers or literal honeypots eager to frame me.

Obviously, soliciting minors is illegal. He admits that there were indeed “real” messages, as well as deceptively edited ones. Unfortunately for him, the deceptively edited messages do not negate the “real” ones.

Note:

The Daily Beast on Monday published a deep dive into the controversy that alleges Alexander received naked pictures from one teenager and sought “eggplant” pics from another. Alexander did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Additionally, read the full report and you can see how MAGAmen Nick Fuentes and Milo Yiannopoulos are also tangled up in this. Marjorie Taylor Green (who employed Yiannopoulos) and demanded that the FBI be defunded after the lawful search of Mar-a-Lago, is now calling on the agency to investigate the allegations against Alexander…

Irony abounds.

  3. Well, I’m embarrassed to admit that I know what “eggplant” pictures are, just as I know what “cherries” and “peach” pictures are. I really hate emojis, but it seems that you can’t get away from them these days.

  8. I never thought I’d say this but good for MTG. I am honestly surprised to see her calling out the Maga gang rather than trying to blame the media or calling the victims paid actors or something.

  10. Ali Alexander is the person who got all the permits for a demonstration at the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

(actually 9 separate rallies at different spots and limited to 50 persons each if I have these very obscure fats right)

Speaking of obsessions, you sure seem stuck on defending all things MAGA.

You didn’t underestimate anything. You asserted, in your customary derisive style, that Ali Alexander, a leader of the anti-democratic #StopTheSteal movement, was a non-entity whom no one had ever heard of. A fair inference was that Dana must have had some ulterior, non-newsworthiness reason for blogging the story. A simple Google search would have disabused you of both errors. Long time Patterico readers knew it immediately without need for Googling.

What’s your point? He was as much on the right side of Brett Kimberlin as he was on the wrong side of 2020. Considering the depth of Kimberlin’s evil, and that a significant portion of that evil was directed at Patterico, and that Alexander was lending material support to holding that evil at bay, it’s more than understandable that folks around here would have been inclined to give Alexander a substantial benefit of the doubt. It’s equally understandable that in the ensuing years he exhausted that benefit. In other news, I used to be an O.J. Simpson fan. Things change.
