  1. “From my cold, dead hands.”

His image, and leadership survives to inspire millions.

  2. The last of a noble group of actors that have left the stage of live…he led from the front in Hollywood and was devoted to his wife. he served his country, and spoke out against the wrongs of society – he marched with MLK and spoke out against Vietnam.

Many of the “stars” in Hollywood need to look to him instead of mock him for what he stood for. Chuck Heston will be missed…

  3. And speaking of “From my cold, dead hands” (#1), isn’t the juxtaposition of this post to the preceding one exceedingly ironic?

  4. R.I.P.

Even if I didn’t always agree with his tactics in promoting the NRA, he had principles, and he stood for them. I can respect that.

  5. He was sure a better actor then GEORGE CLOONEY,JOHNNY DEPP,MICHEAL DOUGLAS,ALAEC BALDWIN and the other socalists scum in hollyweed

  6. He was the greatest. I remember watching him years ago, growing up, in “El Cid”. I dont know why that movie is not being celebrated as one the greatest screen events of all time. Little is really being said about that film, yet it inspired the making and eventual success of great movies like Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven and 300. Charlton Heston is yet to be celebrated. Hopefully now in death.
