Charles and Camilla seem to be joining as equals to the Queen and Trump. Charles is obviously his Mother’s heir apparent but I think he usually stays back a step per royal protocol. Not here. I also don’t recall Camilla (who will be called the Princess Consort when Charles becomes King) seen with major heads of state as if she is the next Queen Consort. She is more popular in the UK than in the past so I could see this as a step to elevating Camilla’s status, something Charles undoubtedly wants and will probably do anyway when he is King.

DRJ (15874d) — 6/4/2019 @ 9:00 am@18. … and unlike the noise made by righties over Obama’s kids and mother-in-law tagging along for their overseas ‘rides’- muted outrage over taxpayers paying for dragging the likes of Donald Jr., Tiffany and the rest of the deadwood baggage ‘over there’ to represent ‘us’ in family snapshots on the garden lawn steps of Buckingham Palace. OTOH, no reason for Walrus Gumbo to be scuffing along through the Queen’s Gallery at all. Revenge is best served both cold and hot: the awful stench of tasteless banquet British lamb.
