3. Why is Newsweek blaming women? Do they have a war against women? Honestly, this cover doesn’t offend me as much as the 2009 cover “WE’RE ALL SOCIALISTS NOW”. I haven’t seen a Newsweek since that hasn’t reminded me of that cover!

9. Now that we see all the usual suspects put out articles that say, “hey, Romney can win”, you know that the rats are deserting the Obama ship.

   The political analysts that are putting out these pieces – see the latest from Mark Helperin – are putting them out not to hedge their bets. They are putting them out to cover their asses when the huge blowout election results come in overnight Nov 6th.

   They smell huge blowout and they don’t want to be a laughing stock on Nov 7th.

13. I assume people aren’t stupid or careless, even though I know we all are sometimes. I think that’s especially true of something like a magazine cover, where many sets of eyes look at it before it is published. As a result, I assume this wasn’t a mistake but part of Newsweek’s new neutrality (or schizophrenic) approach to this election.
