3. This is just so sad. More reinforcement that you really can’t trust ANYBODY’S word about anything any more. Why, Patterico, I hear tell that sometimes witnesses even lie under oath. And it is alleged that occasionally the POTUS tells a whopper as well.

6. Somehow these human interest stories usually turn out to be fake. It’s like the odd murdered spouse stories. Incredulity has its own rewards.

7. Reflexive Liberalism is the worst cancer of them all.

   And these stories/beliefs (narrative?) exist up and down the Gov.t Union, Media, Education and Health Care establishments.
