Dem Candidates Cower in Anticipation of Carnage That Warrior Princess Plans to Wreak

If it’s in Politico (still no links for bullies), it must be true:

Democrats are bracing for Rep. Tulsi Gabbard to blow up the next Democratic presidential debate.

Gabbard missed the September debate and will be relegated to the side of the stage on Oct. 15 because she is polling lower than most of her rivals. But Gabbard, whose worldview on key issues diverges from other Democrats, has sharply criticized other candidates in each of her debates so far, including telling Kamala Harris that people “suffered under her reign” when Harris was California’s attorney general.

And with Gabbard and others looking to break open a campaign that has been largely static behind the front-runners, Democrats in other campaigns are buzzing over who the iconoclastic Hawaii congresswoman could target next. Gabbard’s non-interventionist foreign policy platform could mean trouble for Joe Biden. She recently questioned Elizabeth Warren’s national security experience.

She could even decide to put the whole Democratic presidential field on blast for politicizing the impeachment process, after tweeting recently that candidates fundraising off the inquiry were “undermining credibility” of House Democrats’ probes of President Donald Trump.

Recently My Little Aloha Sweetie has been turning her attention to the emerging front-runner, Chief I Have a Plan for That. According to Politico, she dismissed Sen. Warren’s qualifications to serve as Commander-in-Chief in an interview given to a podcast for The Hill: “I haven’t seen much come from her in the way of what kind of leadership and decision making that she would bring to that most important responsibility that the president has.” Foreign and military policies are two areas in which Warren has not demonstrated any particular aptitude, but I suppose at the end of the day she can just promise to bring back the band of mediocrities from the second Obama Administration for an encore. One can never get enough of the banalities of Ben Rhodes and Samantha Power, can one? Or maybe there is some other failed novelist working as a candidate’s driver who is connected to a network TV news producer and would like to dabble in national security issues.

In any case, the ihe ‘ō ‘ia nalohia pua is being sharpened and is seeking its next deserving target.

  1. Crazy Cute Hippy Crystal Chick won’t make the debate stage, but she raised $3 million in the last quarter. Is the world a weird place?

  2. Your use of a fantasy role play spear whose only connection to Hawaii is that they are both on planet Earth …. I find that a metaphor for the Samoa cookie and her candidacy. Meticulously constructed, shiny and pretty to look at, but when you come down to it inauthentic, and for all practical purposes no more than a fanciful gimcrack that could be dangerous if not handled properly.

  5. Tulsi should start off with this joke about “Walking Eagle”.

When Liz Warren made her one appearance before Indian tribal leaders, they gave her an Indian name—Geh-ton-A-Mish.

She asked one of her aides to find out what the name means in English. The aide came back and said, “It means Walking Eagle.”

Warren said, “Why would they call me Walking Eagle?”

The aide told her, “They said you were so full of schiff you can’t fly.”

  6. I’d like to know what special insights Ipo Tulsi might have on national security that anyone else who is currently or formerly in the military is not capable of having?

    Kishnevi (54fe57)

  7. I hope Tulsi impales any of the top contenders, if not just to expose them for the hacks they are. She doesn’t yet seem to be able to directly tell us why she should be president and what she brings to the table that the others don’t. Maybe she will be able to clearly articulate that at this debate. I still think she’s awfully young and still needs time to get her own political philosophies developed and straight in her mind, as well as get some seasoning.

PS, If Warren wins, Power might run for her Senate seat.

  8. Maybe she will be able to clearly articulate that at this debate.

With 12 candidates on stage, and Little Miss Assad polling dead last, I’d temper my expectations.

  9. On the other hand, the moderators are always looking for someone to stir the pot and juice the ratings, so if they figure she’s gonna mud-wrestle like she did in the first two debates, they might give her more time than her polling numbers would warrant, I suppose.

    Dave (1bb933)

  10. Do you think the moderators really want to hear ten people talk about how much more free their free heathcare is going to be than the other guy’s free healthcare? Or how their green agenda will save the planet, balance the budget, create jobs, distribute wages evenly, and improve education? What we need is some circa 2015 GOP debates, where all the questions are along the lines of “Senator, just how loathsome do you find Donald Trump to be?” Here is what I would like to hear:

“Congresswoman Gabbard, has Joe Biden ever been right on a major foreign policy issue?”

“Congresswoman Gabbard, as a minority woman yourself, are you offended that Senator Warren self-identified as a Native American when she was out on the job hunt trying to win a faculty appointment?”

“Congresswoman Gabbard, should any Presidential candidate be asking the big tech companies to censor the account of the President of the United States because they think he says hurtful and untrue things?”

“Congresswoman Gabbard, is there a latent anti-religious — specifically anti-Catholic — bigotry within your party, and if so, what can be done to counteract it?”

“Congresswoman Gabbard, can you believe that one year ago Beto O’Rourke was a shining light in your party? Did you fall for that nonsense, or as a colleague of his in the House, did you realize what a mushmind he truly was?”

    JVW (54fd0b)

  11. PS, If Warren wins, Power might run for her Senate seat.

The only saving grace of having her do that is to watch all of those loathsome hacks in the Massachusetts Democrat party who have spent their whole careers kissing rings and prostituting themselves to be put in a position to rise that high get passed over by yet another pompous academic who didn’t even have the good grace to act on her on alleged principles.

Between that and the potential that the Kennedy kid pushes aside Ed Markey and takes his seat, it might be fun to watch all of those chislers come to grips with how they have wasted their lives chasing something that they could never grasp.

  17. People’s seat winner Scott Brown disappointed all conservatives in Massachusetts by exposing himself as a rino. No conservative will ever win in this fricking schiff hole of a state.

  24. Brown should have been made head of Veterans Affairs…entre to a weird story I received a call at my work place from a traffic engineering firm needing projected future traffic near a parcel being considered for a columbarium by the VA…my first reaction is this how many homeless vets or vets lacking next of kin end up dying at VA facilities? Not having a veteran as GF or Dad, I had to be told Veterans Affairs also administers the National Cemetery system (e.g. Arlington and here, the Abraham Lincoln Nat’l Cemetary in Elwood IL).

  25. I was under the impression HF was banned.
I don’t want to see anyone banned and used to like everyone here even when I was pissed at them.
The tone is now set by the complete and utter disdain held for anyone who holds anything less than total suspicion of Trump and his sins, past, present, real and imagined.
We are to the point where we get fact check updates from Romney insiders claiming Romney never asked for Trumps endorsement. Who cares?
Romney won’t fight. He played it like he was above the fray while the Democrats lied and destroyed him. He let the Democrats beat him, and by extension his voters.
Jeff Goldstein savaged him on Twitter the other day and hit the target hard.

Mitt could have hit Harry Reid between his influence peddling eyes for that tax return lie but instead Mitt rolled up like a baby armadillo.
When the Tea Party was being smeared as racist, Team Mitt didn’t stand up for them and fight the lie, nope. Mitt disavowed non existent racism. Andrew Breitbart never would have allowed decent people to be smeared like Mitt allowed.

Team Mitt is made up of the guys who sit out the fight in the yard at San Quentin and then don’t understand why no one had their back when its their turn to get a beat down.
Mitt’s not principled or above the fray, he is a coward and I could not care less about what his insiders say. They model their lives after the Pharisees, wrapped up in their robes and oozing superciliousness

  27. Dave:

There’s only two senate seats in Massachusetts, and one belongs to the Kennedys.

But Joseph P Kennedy III is already trying to take the one now held by MArkie seat, so he would be unlikely to switch if the other seat became available. Now f it became available after he lost then there;s another story.
