CNN Edits Video to Make Bloodthirsty Woman Look Peaceful
It’s good to have the occasional reminder of how your media lies to you, right to your face. The latest example is this 28-second video, in which CNN edits a video of a woman screaming for violence in the suburbs to portray her as “calling for peace”:

I love to tell voters that they have many choices in this election and that I am but one… that they should all vote their conscience since that is part of the unique value system on which our country is founded. On and on and on, blah, blah, blah

Ever since Director Comey endorsed my honesty and integrity, the Trumpkins have continued to spread lies about me.
But Patterico is truly doing his part to help with my election by slamming Trump on a daily basis. His is one of my favorites blogs along with Daily Kos. Any time someone goes after Trump, it is a big help to me.
CNN, too is a great purveyor of the truth… MSNBC also!
Did you read where Chris Mathews (I could just hug him) said to either get informed and vote for me or don’t vote at all!?
Chris understands this is a … what do you call it, like in futures trading… ahh yes…. a “zero sum game.”
This simply means a non-vote for Trump sustain’s my margin of lead. It is simply the next best thing to voting FOR me!
This Patterico fellow is doing such a great service for Bill and me, racking up the non-votes against Trump.
Rest assured that once we’re in the White House again (and it will certainly need a new coat of “white” after the monkey leaves, ha ha ha!) Bill and I intend to have Patterico up for dinner, (Bill wants to know if he has a teenage daughter in which case he’ll arrange a private game of naked Twister), and a free night in the Lincoln Bedroom for Patterico and “friend”.

I remember as a kid watching the Huntley/Brinkley Report or Walter Cronkite and believing what they said. Everybody believed them in those days, even the adults. Now I remember back and realize they too were just playing us. Oh, not a badly or as in-your-face as today but they played us nonetheless. Then within a few years they were secretly cheering for the communists in Vietnam and using every trick in the school of journalism playbook to make America look bad, the cause appear lost and our soldiers painted as baby killers. Now when I watch the news I’m constantly alert for lies, innuendo and lies of omission and they never, ever disappoint me.

When I was a kid, great emphasis was placed on teaching us to think critically… IOW, make a fully (or optimally) informed decisions by taking all facts, pro and con, eliminating all conjecture opinion, etc., understanding the consequences that could result from your decision and then making your choice. It was also reinforced that “not to decide” is deciding as well.
In a reasonably curious intellect, there simply is no refuge from reality.
We live in a truly global era of “bread and circuses”. With the attention span of fleas, our populace, especially younger people, can’t imagine a world before the internet, and live in an alternate state of reality fed by such diversions offered by the “Star Chamber” as Pokemon Go, etc.,
But there is a sinister side to enjoying the “shiny bobbles” offered by the Powers That Be.
Even when installing Windows 10 on your computer, you are agreeing to allow Microsoft to intrude into your computer any time it likes and do anything it likes while tracking what you do and selling this information to propagandists of one sort or another.
When one’s kids down load Angry Birds or some other app, they are agreeing to terms and conditions and violations they could not possible understand… or care about.
“They”, I’m afraid, are winning.
The ONLY news network I know that broadcasts “real news” any longer (just the facts, Ma’am) is Fox… which of course also has opinion commentators.
In terms of this election, if you relied on MSM, all we’d know is that there is an ever expanding “vast right wing conspiracy” trying to take down poor Hillary and Bill.
I think we’re playing out a combination of “Brave New World” and “1984”. The MSM (Main Stream Ministry of Truth) is in charge, and it is decidedly “leftist progressive one world socialistic”
The Ministry of Truth knows that all they have to do is get the minions, droids, drones of the hive mind, excited enough to vote their way ONE DAY in November and then its done… maybe for a generation.
Its a bit like hyper advertising some block buster movie that rakes in gazillions on opening day and then flops.
But unlike Hollywood, all the Ministry needs IS opening day to make a vast fortune in power and control.

The reporter saying that the woman was “calling for peace” was just a lie, or at best a statement that bore no resemblance to reality. Regardless of anything else CNN was going to do, they shouldn’t have added that characterization.
