Many, Many Captured Terrorists

Counterterrorism czar John Brennan is pumped about all the terrorists that have been captured on the Obama Administration’s watch:
“White House counterterrorism adviser John Brennan was asked about whether the administration’s policy — when it came to terrorists that came into the crosshairs of the military — was simply to kill them, rather than risk the political complexities associated with detaining them.
Brennan said:
“I think we have captured a lot of terrorists over the last year — not just those that we’ve arrested here in the United States, but those that we have captured with the assistance, and in partnership with, other nations.”
The AP’s Kim Dozier asked for numbers.
Said Brennan: “There have been many, many terrorists who have been captured.”
Marc Ambinder concludes with a good question: Where are all those captured terrorists, Mr. Brennan?

I kinda suspect we will barely acknowledge that day. I wish we had some kind of appreciation for our civilization parades on that day.
A lot of people are mad that we are not truly rebuilding on ground zero, and even seeing some Cordoba House Mosque (or whatever that is). I think we’ve lost that battle for NYC and we need to win the war by realizing, even showing that America is still standing tall… just in other places. I would love to see the Twin Towers soaring over Houston, with some financial markets moved there instead in their current hostile environment. In the past week I learned that In and Out Burger and Formula 1 are coming to Texas, so don’t tell me it isn’t possible!
Now, I have to wonder if Brennan has made a slip of the tongue, and we really do have some prison of terrorists off the books. More likely he’s just full of crap.

I do not think that word means what we’re all thinking it means.
Holder’s been quietly picking up and detaining people as they leave Tea Party rallies – the “scarier-looking ones”, as he puts it, “the ones that we can easily see are nothing but racist terrorists.”
They’re all being held in a new joint-ops prison compound in Tehran, where they’ve been quickly confessing to all of the crimes the mullahs have come up with. I now know that Grandma was responsible for all the foreclosures, and Grandpa personally devised and instituted Jim Crow. What’s worse is, they’ve both apparently been acting contrary to gawd’s Law, for some decades now.
I feel safer.

If they did capture ‘many’ terrorists (surprised at the use of such islamo icendiary language by Brennan) they are either being held at Bagram, now that terrorist there are excluded from filing habeus petitions in US Courts, or in Pakistan (though we probably would have limited access to many terrorist there, due to Paki’s secret police/ intelligence units’ desire not to have too much transparency from their charges).

In one sense they have captured more than they claim. Would they parade them and prove their lie is a lie? Or would they lie and not parade all of them and have a much less impressive parade?
Life and politics is so much simpler when you stick to the facts.
