  1. Hello.

    Dana (cb74ca)

  2. As predicted, he’s already using the three pardoned war-criminals as campaign props.

Trump to Florida rally crowd: “Just this week I stuck up for three great warriors against the deep state.”

Got that? Our military, whose members accused, tried and convicted them, is now “the deep state”.

  3. I am losing my sense of humor over this nonsense. Moderate tears, owned by the Trumpers again. I can’t even bill Trump for the residence in my head, because he never pays his bills. Maybe because he puts his entertainment skills in the service of a political platform that glorifies cruelty. JR Ewing’s kinda of entertaining, but he never really hurt anyone real.

This stuff is it could be funny, given the right type of persona. I could see Obama pulling something like this off, as a form of self-deprecation. The problem with Trump is that may be what he sees when he looks in the mirror. (I would vote for a Vlad Putin glamour shot, myself, but it’s close).

  5. He sure “doesn’t look like all those other presidents on the dollar bills.”

    Kevin M (19357e)

  6. One of Trump’s bulwarks of support was the military. Veterans and serving military overwhelmingly supported him in 2016 after 8 years of Obama’s fecklessness. Now he’s rejecting that and making a beeline for the Democrat’s caricature military — the Oliver North military composed largely of cashiered yahoos.

I suspect this is because he conflates Fox News talking-head military (retired) with serving men and women.

    Kevin M (19357e)

  7. BTW, I know a recently-retired Navy Seal who supported Trump in 2016 and is RIPSH1T over these pardons.

    Kevin M (19357e)

  8. Trump Deification Syndrome is a real thing. And I don’t get it.

    Gawain's Ghost (a89947)

  9. As for that heavy-weight image:

    1) Some touch-ups applied
    2) When’s the fight? I would pay good money to see Trump in the ring with any heavyweight contender.

    Kevin M (19357e)

  10. Trump Deification Syndrome

Such big words. Trump Dumbass Syndrome is clearer.

    Kevin M (19357e)

  11. Well, the photoshop beats reality.

    Paul Montagu (887e56)

  12. Well, Dumbass doesn’t really equate to Deification, but then I suppose it does. Still, I don’t get it.

    Gawain's Ghost (a89947)

  13. Oh to go back in time, Quantum Leap-style, to one WWE match in particular. I think a Montreal Screw Job would have been in order.

  14. William D. Ruckelshaus, who refused to join in Nixon’s ‘Saturday Night Massacre,’ dies at 87
William D. Ruckelshaus, a pragmatic and resolute government official who shaped the Environmental Protection Agency in the early 1970s as its first administrator and returned to the agency a decade later to restore its shattered morale after its watchdog powers had been muzzled, died Nov. 27 at his home in Medina, Wash. He was 87.

The death was confirmed by a daughter, Mary Ruckelshaus. She did not cite a specific cause.

In a long career in government and private industry, Mr. Ruckelshaus was widely promoted as “Mr. Clean” as much for his uprightness as for his role with the EPA. He cemented his reputation for unshakable integrity when, in 1973, as Richard Nixon’s deputy attorney general, he defied a presidential order to fire the special prosecutor investigating the Watergate break-in. ……

  15. Two latest polls 34% & 35% of blacks now support trump because of buttageig. Lbgtq calling them homophobic only drives more black democrats from party. If the republican party would ever stop trying to prevent “negroes” from voting they would stop having to hold their noses and vote democrat.

  17. #16: Note that Nixon was the ultimate RINO. He was to the Left of Clinton.

    Kevin M (19357e)

  18. 2019 TIME Person Of The Year cover art?

    I’m expecting Adam Schiff.

    Kevin M (19357e)

  19. If the republican party would ever stop trying to prevent “negroes” from voting

That’s pretty ignorant. The Klan and the Jim Crow South were solid Democrat. It was the GOP that tried to ban lynching and promote black voting for 100 years after the civil war, always block by Southern Democrats in the Senate.

    Kevin M (19357e)

  20. Good look for Trump — conveniently conceals his tiny hands.

    Daren Jonescu (2f5857)

  21. The real Rocky, of course, was a fictional boxer famous for fighting bravely against bigger, stronger, faster opponents (Apollo, Clubber, Drago) and finally defeating them all with his sheer will and courage — and then meekly carrying on with his simple life without boasting or assuming any airs.

This fake news Rocky is (sadly) a non-fiction president famous (among those who watch with their eyes open) for dropping to his knees before the opening bell to surrender meekly before every opponent he perceives as mildly dangerous (Kim, Xi, Putin, Erdogan) — and then of course holding a victory parade to smugly declare himself champion of the world for his huge, beautiful surrender and betrayal of allies.

    Daren Jonescu (2f5857)

  22. Oh dear:

Russia Inquiry Review Is Expected to Undercut Trump Claim of F.B.I. Spying

The F.B.I. never tried to place undercover agents or informants inside the Trump campaign, a highly anticipated inspector general’s report is expected to find.

Time to invent a new and even more preposterous narrative, I guess.

    Dave (1bb933)

  23. I hadn’t heard that was charged Dave, only that they were eavesdropping on people within it. I bet the IG report also does not mention the death rays or the torture that were also never alleged.

    Kevin M (19357e)

  24. Of course, there is always someone who will allege anything….

    Kevin M (19357e)

  25. Trump has a great sense of humor. His critics? Not so much.

    rcocean (1a839e)

  26. #16 William D. Ruckelshaus, was a man of integrity and a liberal Republican. Assuming Nixon didn’t have a death wish, he should never have appointed Richardson and Ruckleshaus as Attorney General and Deputy AG. Nixon reminds me of Trump, in that he either seemed dazzled by Ivy League Types or he believed he could somehow “control” anyone he appointed to office. Nixon surrounded himself with untrustworthy “Moderates”. Eirlichman, Garment, Dean, Richardson, etc. and he that was in downfall in Watergate. Plus his inability to make bold courageous decisions. Nixon was like someone with gangrene, who kept thinking minimal treatment and time would some how cure the disease when the only real way to save himself was to amputate -quickly.

    rcocean (1a839e)

  27. Sense of humor or sexting Kim Jong Un? I vote for the second. How long since he got a beautiful letter?

    nk (dbc370)

  28. Despite all of Trump’s lies and nonsense this month, I do agree with this:

President Trump signed the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act on Wednesday, reaffirming U.S. support for the city’s autonomy after months of pro-democracy protests.

    Paul Montagu (00daa1)

  29. Ok, ok, I concede! It’s a humorous sext to Kim Jong Un.

    nk (dbc370)

  30. I hadn’t heard that was charged Dave, only that they were eavesdropping on people within it. I bet the IG report also does not mention the death rays or the torture that were also never alleged.

You should keep yourself better informed about the Great Leader’s teachings.

You do repeat them until you’ve learn them by rote…don’t you?

    Dave (1bb933)

  31. Sense of humor or sexting Kim Jong Un? I vote for the second. How long since he got a beautiful letter?

    Clearly too long.

Little Rocket Man is cheating on him.

    Dave (1bb933)

  32. 24. Oh dear:

Russia Inquiry Review Is Expected to Undercut Trump Claim of F.B.I. Spying

The F.B.I. never tried to place undercover agents or informants inside the Trump campaign, a highly anticipated inspector general’s report is expected to find.

anonymous sources close to the report…. Sure, believe what ever makes you feel good

This is from the NYT times spin article. (information provided by the those being investigated

Mr. Horowitz plans to say that the wiretap application, which referenced Mr. Papadopoulos, should have also included a statement he made to the undercover agent in London that could be seen as exculpatory or self-serving, the people familiar with the draft report said.

So an undercover FBI agent that recorded an exculpatory Statement. IS NOT SPYING!!!!

    iowan2 (9c8856)

  33. Right, as confirmed by Trump’s DOJ, No Spying. Of course, Trump’s DOJ could be lying so they could at some future date release evidence of spying. Or, as was always true, it was a lie Trumped up to outrage his rubes in Iowa and other places. So they’ll keep repeating the lie from the biggest (literally and figuratively) liar in the history of liars.

But rubes do what rubes do, that’s why conmen count on rubes.

Flushing the swamp. Great job. Keep firing these pathetic traitorous hacks, Mr. President. Thats why we voted for you.
