Gross: Trump’s Bald Pate Revealed in Nauseating Video

Filed under: General — Patterico @ 8:00 pm

Seems like our President is kinda bald, in a gross way:

If I were someone crass like Donald Trump, I might respond to this by saying: Yuck. Look at that head! He’s disgusting. He’s no longer a 10. His hair loss is a real problem. He’s probably bleeding badly from scalp reduction surgery.

I already know that the comments section will be filled with squealing that would make a stuck pig jealous. How dare I, etc. etc. The scolds will put their hands on their hips and cluck their tongues, saying that anyone who would dare comment on this just discredits themselves, yada yada yada. I could write these trite and predictable comments myself. Indeed, the people who have noted this so far have gone crazy anticipating this negative reaction, and have rationalized to the nth degree their decision to say something in public about it, because they know the tut-tut brigade will be out in full force. It’s as if they feel ashamed to even be saying anything about.

Not me. I’m not ashamed to note this — at all. So you can save your outrage that I’m commenting on the guy’s appearance. Why do I feel zero shame doing so? For a whole host of reasons. Here are merely five of them:

1. Trumpalos like fighting fire with fire, right? Well, few people have spent so much time commenting about other people’s appearance as Donald Trump. Here’s a nice summary. Trump has called women fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals. And no, not just Rosie O’Donnell. He said Heidi Klum is “no longer a 10.” He said “Look at that face!” about Carly Fiorina. He posted that nasty tweet about Heidi Cruz. He called Alicia Machado “Miss Piggy” and “Miss Housekeeping” and said on Fox & Friends that her weight was a “real problem.” In talking in the Access Hollywood tape about moving on Nancy O’Dell “like a bitch” Trump said: “Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony tits and everything. She’s totally changed her look.” Mika Brzezinski was “bleeding badly from a face-lift.”

If you can’t condemn Trump’s comments about others’ appearance, in a firm, full-throated, unapologetic, non-half-assed way — then you know exactly where you can cram your outrage over my posting this video.

2. It’s not that he’s bald. It’s the ridiculous and laughable steps he takes to cover it up that are absurd. The clip above seems to confirm the account given by that demon from Hell, Michael Wolff, in his book “Fire and Fury.” Wolff says that Ivanka herself explained Trump’s ridiculous hair as a bizarre result of a weird scalp-reduction surgery:

She treated her father with a degree of detachment, even irony, going so far as to make fun of his comb-over to others. She often described the mechanics behind it to friends: an absolutely clean pate — a contained island after scalp-reduction surgery — surrounded by a furry circle of hair around the sides and front, from which all ends are drawn up to meet in the center and then swept back and secured by a stiffening spray. The color, she would point out to comical effect, was from a product called Just for Men — the longer it was left on, the darker it got. Impatience resulted in Trump’s orange-blond hair color.

Seems about right, doesn’t it? Remember point #1? For a guy who comments about other people’s appearance so much, this sort of ridiculous compensation for what normally happens to aging men is pathetic.

3. Presidents are too venerated in general. They need to be taken down a peg on a regular basis. That means Trump, Obama, Bush — the lot of them.

4. But a bully like Trump especially deserves to be taken down. There’s nothing I like more than mocking a bully.

5. I enjoy making the most extreme Trumpalos cry and wail and gnash their teeth. Your overdone outrage makes me smile. Your tears of anger taste delicious to me.

So go ahead. Commence your tut-tutting and squealing. Just know this: your odds of causing me to feel Deep Shame are precisely zero.

  1. OH MY GOD HOW DARE YOU COMMENT ON SOMEONE ELSE’S APPEARANCE PATTERICO YOU HAVE TRULY JUMPED THE SHARK GOD BLESS TRUMP

    Patterico (115b1f)

  2. That must be an example of that “DeepFakes” video spoofing software that miscreants and pervs are using to insert, for example, Natalie Portman’s face on a porn-star’s body mid-performance. That must be Fake News! Surely our beloved President wouldn’t have been hiding that “Put-Your-Helmet-Back-On,-Darth!” pate from us all this time, would he?

    Beldar (fa637a)

  3. You have exceeded my expectations of you.

    Good job!

  4. Are we still crediting gelatinous slime mould Wolff with anything, the fact that morning jokes toothsome duo finally jettisoned him like a errant sample of andromeda should be a clue.

  5. That doesn’t look so good. I wonder if he’s heard of the Hair Club for Men? Or maybe a couple coats of Krylon Orange?

Not at all. He is the very Devil incarnate. I thought I made that clear when I called him a demon from Hell.

  7. Surely our beloved President wouldn’t have been hiding that “Put-Your-Helmet-Back-On,-Darth!” pate from us all this time, would he?

    LOL

  8. I must have missed that, when you let that slander against haley and or hicks sit there for a week, how about that an accessory of your real adversary Cody shearer seems to hop deep in this dossier dump

    narciso (d1f714)

  9. Good grief! It’s worse than I thought. I thought he had a simple combover, like Dugout Doug, but with Aqua Net instead of Vaseline. How did he lose it in the back? Was that the botched operation that caused him to beat Ivana, his first wife, as she supposedly related?

    nk (dbc370)

  10. Vanity is a cruel mistress.

One of the most sage federal district court judges I ever had the chance to practice before had a comb-over that makes Trump’s hair look like its natural.

And he twice had a “face peel” to reduce wrinkles which left him looking like he’d stayed in the desert sun for 12 hours in July.

But, he was married 3 times, each time to woman another generation younger than him — i.e, the first was 15 years younger, the second was 25 years younger, and the third was about 31 years younger. So he was always in search of ways to look more youthful.

    Bleh.

    shipwreckedcrew (56b591)

  11. 1 — I agree with your POV that Trump’s comments about others have made this kind of observation about him fair game.

    shipwreckedcrew (56b591)

  12. President Tiny Fingers won’t like this one damn bit. Maybe he will Twitter you.

  13. Hey jd the gamg is back, seriously a long thread about some errant comment you can’t find a single on the record source for.

  15. President Tiny Fingers won’t like this one damn bit. Maybe he will Twitter you.

OH MY GOD FIRST STASHIU3 AND NOW JD, THIS IS SO GREAT

I can answer that. Nope. Next question!

    AND WHAT ABOUT CHAPPAQUIDDICK???

    Dave (445e97)

  21. I dont think you have to be ashamed about anything but you are projecting a tad bit. do you feel “shame” since you are thinking/talking about it?

I mean I laugh at this because alot of POTUS covered up their physical “faults”.

Ever hear of dentures? or whigs? or…well you get the point.

You don’t make any of us who appreciate Trump upset that you want to “take him down a peg” (you have alot of company in this endeavor dont you? just saying….95% of the media does this on an hourly basis) Its par for the POTUS Trump course.

swing away by all means. I would agree that we tend to worship our leaders and thats not what this country should be about. we also tend to worship our political ideologies as well. whether “conservative” or “liberal”. you would think anyone who veers away from “political dogma” is a “heretic” worthy to be burned at the stake…or pulled by their hair….or….I digress….

….but we also are allowed to knock the press “down a peg”: Because the press sure isn’t any better at being worshipped then our various POTUS.

cheers and good luck on your knocking down and all…stand on line with the rest of the media. But what everyone doesn’t realize that most, if not all of us, who voted for Trump wasn’t because we agreed with his “looks”….Thats more like the elections of 1960, 1992, 1996, 2008 and 2012. The election of 2016 was more about ideas and whats under the skin than whats glued on top of it.

or did you miss that memo?

    again cheers with your endeavor/vendetta.

    PS posted for truth:

In the United States, only four presidents from John Adams to James Monroe wore curly powdered wigs tied in a queue according to the old-fashioned style of the 18th century. Unlike them, the first president George Washington never wore a wig; instead, he powdered, curled and tied in a queue his own long hair. William Henry Harrison (1841) A member of the ‘Whig’ political party, Harrison appeared to have his own hair, but combed it forward in the “Caesar” style which can conceal a receding hairline….etc…

  29. FDR was a bully, too. Would you laugh if his braces broke?

The histories I’ve read seem to agree that polio (and the humility that came with it) changed FDR from being a pretty complete @sshole into someone (still a shifty political hard-baller, to be sure) with a degree of genuine empathy.

If Trump ever showed even a glimmer of that, my attitude toward him would change dramatically. I’m not holding my breath.

  36. Honestly, meh. I agree that pointing out hypocrisy is fair game. To say that this crosses some line of decency towards the office of the President of the United States is kind of silly. Presidents have been subjected to far worse, for far less reason.

Doesn’t mean I don’t like what he’s actually doing, but teasing him about his vanity is funny. I couldn’t do it while on active duty, but you might remember the comparison pictures of President Bush with monkey faces. I didn’t like it, but I knew it was funny. Then, when President Obama was elected, suddenly monkey faces were racist. Strange how that happens. Especially since you could find a monkey face that resembles anyone alive or dead.

We all need to lighten up. Not everything is life and death… or worse than Hitler.

I’m not arguing that his disability made him unfit to be POTUS. It was his dishonesty, and yes, I have no problem with ridiculing him for that. If this means that Joe Biden has to be captured and his pineal gland harvested and implanted in the President’s head then that’s just the sacrifice a patriotic fella like Joe is going to have to make.

    JVW (42615e)

    Stashiu3

Mine was aimed at the host, referring generally to the post’s topic.

Like you were walking onto a yacht
You look like a reformed tranny
But your wife is pretty hot
You had one hand on your wallet
As you watched Schumer walk by
And Elaine Chao wished you were her daddy
Wished you were her sugar daddy
    And you’re so vain
You probably think this post is about you
    Don’t you, don’t you
    You’re so vain

it has that weird almost lubricious feel like it didn’t set right or something

i usually get out in the morning and walk in the snow but this snow sucks ass to where you don’t wanna track any back into the house, that’s how putrid this snow is

i like the fluffy lake effect kind more better

i hope we get some of that

Proof of climate, erh, fluctuation, is that Lake County IL has been hit more often than not, whereas in the early to mid 2000s, we had more of the Wisconsin dry cold.

    Burned got his loot

  141. Ben burn,

Can you answer my question from the last thread? How does whether I served in the military or not change the meaning of my words? Please stop running from the question.

Follow-up. Is anyone who didn’t serve in the military a chickenhawk? If not, why not?

    Stashiu3 (466cdf)

Our daughter turns 18 today. The time flies.

    Patterico (115b1f)

  147. I understand completely. You want to silence other opinions by casting the chickenhawk slur. It has nothing to do with credibility.

    Stashiu3 (466cdf) — 2/8/2018 @ 7:41 am

It has everything to do with credibility.

That you don’t recognize words must sync with behavior for credible reputation is quite mind-boggling.

    Ben burn (b3d5ab)

  148. Wow, are you truly that demented? For oil? How much oil have we gotten from the Iraq War?

I don’t think not serving makes someone a chickenhawk, even if they were eligible during a time of war. Only about 1% of our population has served. Even during the World Wars, serving was not universal, yet not everyone who didn’t was a coward or a chickenhawk.

    Stashiu3 (466cdf)

  149. But you are a Trumpkin, no? That explains a lot.

    Ben burn (b3d5ab)

    Stashiu3 (466cdf)

  165. Thanks, everyone, for the good energy. In many ways, I did grow up here – to the extent that I have grown up at all – and I am thankful to many of you for helping me on my way.

Also: can we give Ben burn a timeout, please? He’s harshing a nice mellow up in here.

    Leviticus (efada1)

  166. Patrick — any views on the mostly unredacted Grassley memo, since it includes footnotes and quotes to the underlying FISA documents, and testimony of FBI officials, the lack of which seemed to be the basis for your dismissal of the summaries in the House GOP memo.

For instance, the fact that Comey admitted in testimony, and the FISA documents seem to confirm, that there was no substantive corroboration of the factual claims made in the Steele memos, but the FBI chose to rely on Steele’s personal credibility and past reliability to accept uncritically the anonymous sources behind his information when it was clear the FBI could not corroborate or confirm the information?

There’s a lot more to unpack from the Grassley memo, but its useless to do so if you’ve just decided to waive it off like you did the GOP memo.

Its pretty transparent he’s a paid troll on the payroll of some outfit like Media Matters, and he’s making $15 bucks an hour to just spew nonsense and try to hijack threads.

    He’s harmless, like his predecessors.

Although, if he keeps calling me Sasha, accidents happen. (I kid! I find it amusing.)

    Stashiu3 (466cdf)

  176. You misspelled “psychotic.” You’re welcome.

    noel (b4d580) — 2/8/2018 @ 7:59 am

Where did I say mocking Trumps appearance is wrong? Or not wrong? What has the Bible to do with it? Or are you a very religious person and never sin yourself? I have found in life people who quote the Bible to others as an insult and use the Bible as a club to beat those with whom they disagree are very, very shallow and foolish hypocrites. So was your comment to me what you would have me do unto you?

Oh, and don’t ever try and explain or define my belief in Christianity or its application because you have absolutely no clue.

    Rev.Hoagie (6bbda7)

    Trump has

    (a) the personal morals of John Kennedy and Bill Clinton;

    (b) the mouth of Lyndon Johnson;

    (c) the bigotry of Richard Nixon;

    (d) the narcissism of a 16-year-old prima donna; and

    (e) the policies and cabinet of Ronald Reagan.

Does (e) make up for (a) through (d)? That is the conundrum we conservatives face.

    NOT OK
‘It’s Bad’: Omarosa Cries Through Description of Trump White House on ‘Celebrity Big Brother’
    MATT WILSTEIN
    02.08.18 12:37 PM ET

    YOUTUBE
Omarosa Manigault may have gotten off to a confident start on the latest edition of CBS’ Celebrity Big Brother. But on Thursday night’s episode, she breaks down.

In a new clip released ahead of the show’s second episode, the former Apprentice contestant and ousted White House staffer tearfully opens up to E! correspondent Ross Mathews about the state of the Trump administration, revealing a picture that sounds a lot like what Michael Wolff describes in Fire and Fury.

“I felt like it was a call to duty,” Manigault says, whispering for some reason despite the plethora of microphones and cameras. “I felt like I was serving my country, not serving him.”

“Like, I was haunted by tweets every single day,” she adds, dramatically. “Like, what is going to tweet next?” Positioning herself as a defender of decency, Manigault says she tried to be the person who would question the president, but everyone around him started “attacking” her instead. She seems to express a degree of jealousy that Trump’s daughter Ivanka and son-in-law Jared Kushner were able to get closer to the president than she was.

Last fall, The Daily Beast reported that Manigault was “patient zero” in Chief of Staff John Kelly’s attempts to limit unfettered access to Trump. One White House official said Kelly was “thrilled that he has been able to stop staffers including Omarosa from bolting into the Oval Office and triggering the president with White House [palace] intrigue stories.”

“It’s not my circus, not my monkeys,” Manigault says. “I’d like to say not my problem, but I can’t say that because, it’s bad.”

…the FBI’s October application told the FISA court that, “The FBI does not believe that [Steele] directly provided this information to the press.” Whether Mr. Steele lied to the FBI, or the FBI was too incompetent to verify that he was the source of the Yahoo News story, the result is the same: The FISA court issued a surveillance order on the basis of false information about the credibility of the FBI’s main source.

Even after Mr. Steele said under oath in court filings in London that he had briefed Yahoo News, and this fact was reported by U.S. media in April 2017, the FBI didn’t tell the FISA court in any subsequent wiretap application.

  259. Where Trump supporters really do get “Never Trumpers” very wrong is in the realm of motivation and sincerity. Many of them ludicrously believe, or at least claim to, that people like me automatically oppose Trump on everything for one or more of the following reasons: blind hatred of him personally, an unwillingness to admit we were wrong about him, and a desire to benefit career-wise by currying favor with the liberal mainstream media.

Personally, it is bad enough to get called stupid or liberal, but it is far more infuriating to have your integrity questioned, especially when you are taking a stand based entirely on principle and the long-term interest of the country. While there may be a couple of Anti-Trump conservatives who have benefited in some way while also completely losing their impartiality about Trump (Ana Navarro comes to mind), that is very much not the norm.

  260. @ Stash, re M*A*S*H: My dad was a junior USNR officer aboard the USS Zeilin (APA-3), an attack transport that participated in most of the major Pacific island invasions, from March 1944-March 1946. In the very early 1970s, when I was in high school, I bought and read Richard Hooker’s original book, “M*A*S*H,” because I was frankly fascinated by the iconic paperback book cover, which featured a giant peace-sign-making human hand perched atop a long, sleek, tanned pair of bare female legs.

I’m pretty sure it was the very first book I ever shared with my dad, who wasn’t much of a fiction reader. He in turn enthusiastically shared it with several other of his contemporaries in our small town who’d been veterans. I asked him why exactly he had responded to the book so enthusiastically. I told him the book was widely viewed as being a critique on the then-still-ongoing war in Vietnam even though it was set in Korea.

He shook his head. “I don’t know if it’s anti-war or not,” he said, “but I do know this is the first book I’ve ever read which actually demonstrates an understanding of what happens when you recruit a bunch of American citizen-soldiers and -sailers, and then put them under the orders of the regular Army and Navy during wartime. They’d all go completely insane if they couldn’t find things to laugh at, and that’s what this book seems to understand. This is actually the kind of sick and outrageous humor among brothers that got me through the war.”

When the movie version of M*A*S*H eventually came out, he liked it better than most war movies (which he generally regarded as silly). (His lifelong favorite war movie turned out to be “Saving Private Ryan,” mostly because of the Higgins boat scenes in the first few minutes: He commanded one such at the (Second) Battle of Guam.) But he never really got into the TV version of M*A*S*H for one reason or another; he thought it was too tame, too much of a sit-com.

    Beldar (fa637a)

  261. And (still working my way through comments): Many ‘grats, Leviticus!

    Beldar (fa637a)

  262. I’m pretty sure that was the same conversation in which my dad explained to me the meaning of the comprehensively useful terms SNAFU and FUBAR, and (b) the ways in noncoms actually run both the Army and the Navy, and why we’re all better for that.

    Beldar (fa637a)

  263. * that phrase ought to have read: “and (b) the ways in which noncoms actually run ….”

    Beldar (fa637a)

  264. But he never really got into the TV version of M*A*S*H for one reason or another; he thought it was too tame, too much of a sit-com.

I never had your dad’s experience of wartime service, but I also always wondered why M*A*S*H the tv show was so widely celebrated. I don’t find it any more humorous or interesting in comparison to other sitcoms of that era like Laverne & Shirley or Eight Is Enough. I’ve only seen the movie once, years and years ago, but I do recall it being better than the tv show.

  357. Just to catch you up Ben burn. I retired after 24 years in the U.S. Army with both enlisted and commissioned service, and yes, I deployed. Over 20 years of Psych Nurse experience, which is why I know your remarks about mental illness are woefully ill-informed and meant only to be hateful.

Soldiers don’t decide which wars they go to, so I’m very proud of the many brave men and women I was lucky enough to serve with and treat. I did my best because I believe in the United States. That’s why I enlisted and stayed, not for a paycheck or CV-builder, but because we need to be the example the rest of the world tries to emulate.

So you can take your chickenhawk slur, type it out, fold it up until it is ALL sharp corners… the rest I leave as an exercise for the student.

  366. JVW – there’s a group of longtime commenters here who I recognize as part of a tribe that I’m a member of, and I’m sufficiently tribal to be irked by outsiders attacking members of my tribe. JD and stashiu3 are both in that group. 🙂

Stashiu3, in particular, I can remember the particular conversation where he and I first seemed to acknowledge respect for each other, and that interaction leaves me particularly irked at misbehavior towards him, because in that conversation, he demonstrated a huge part of what I value in a conversational partner. 🙂

    Ben burn (b3d5ab) — 2/8/2018 @ 1:50 pm

Everyone note the word “inferring” which is much different than “directly accusing” which is what he did. Also, the way this is phrased implies that I did engage in “fakery”. It’s also a conditional apology, not unconditional which is the only true apology. Finally, I have nothing to apologize for about Iraq. Despite his unwarranted assumptions and political phrasing, I believe we went into Iraq for the best reasons we knew at the time. He believes differently, but not having lived through it, I will (by his own rules) discount his take on the Iraq War completely.

In other words, he still hasn’t done it. Only tried to weasel-word his way through.

Now, I really have to clock out. Back later friends. And Ben burn.

    Stashiu3 (466cdf)

  372. Ben burn: your comments are curious, to me, because (much like happyfeet), when interacting with you, i don’t feel like i’m interacting with a real person who is here to *talk*. The way you engage suggests you are more interested in scoring points and implicitly showing your superiority to people than in getting to know them and communicate with them and, if you are lucky, persuade them.

I don’t understand that mindset or motivation, so I’m … not exactly verklempt, but certainly puzzled.

Republicans have used their control of government to virtually double the budget deficit, which had been hovering around half a trillion dollars per year, and will now likely run well over $1 trillion — during the peak of an economic expansion. There is no economic rationale for this behavior. Their policy is simply to support fiscal contraction under Democratic presidents and fiscal expansion under Republican ones. Cynicism is the only basis to explain their behavior.

Put in middle rack of oven.
Bake for half hour. That work in my oven. Maybe your oven take more or less.

Leviticus is a far better person than you could ever hope to be. The fact that you are a liar and coward keeps you from ever being taken seriously here. You’re fun to slap around, but that’s all. Nobody can ever take anything you say as truth because it’s just not in you. Even the most objective statement usually has some dishonest dig in it. You can’t help yourself.

    Pinandpuller (e476ee) — 2/9/2018 @ 12:32 am

7 years ago? Wow! Strong work Pinandpuller. Let me check something. 7/20/2006 was my first post here, best I can tell. It was (as most of you may have expected) as scold to a troll (named Actus, who became many others over time, including I believe, imdw)

    Actus,
I really don’t think that they poster (and I would bet good money it was GiGi) expected to be busted on the IP addresses. A little too disingenuous, don’t you think? I have refrained from bashing you here and at PW because you don’t resort to profanity and have taken criticism well. After reading your recent posts, I have come to the conclusion that you are an idiot who will parse words to death rather than admit a liberal was wrong. Your ‘what-if’ scenarios are too ridiculous to dignify with a response. Heaven help us if you graduate law school and pass the bar. Give it up already.

He did not, however, give it up. Lol!

*Note – In looking at that, I was naïve about IP addresses… although I don’t think they were looked at as much back then. I know a little bit more now how much you can do with an IP address.

    Stashiu3 (466cdf)

  457. You’re quoting pin because you haven’t the strength to purloin some words?

Please stop making comments about my health and disabilities. This is not about being thin-skinned or some kind of snowflake. I am asking nicely and I hope very clearly. They are unwanted and unnecessary. Any further disparaging remarks about my health or disabilities will be taken as harassment and reported to our host. Those two areas are very serious to me and you do not have permission to joke around about them.

    Thank you.

    Stashiu3 (466cdf)

  460. Stash: you’re new and may not be aware there is a blocker for untoward words. Ask anybody. If you can’t handle the heat you can take a cold shower.

  470. Now, I never asked you for an apology, which you never really gave anyway. I would just like a clear statement from you that you were wrong to state that I implied I was sockpuppeting.

“I was wrong to state you implied that you were sockpuppeting.” will suffice. No weasel-words.

Are you able to do that? Or are you completely incapable of being honest and admit you were wrong? We’ll see I guess.

    Stashiu3 (466cdf)

  471. Apologize for calling me a liar with no presentable proof.

    Ben burn (b3d5ab)

  472. You’re spoiling to exert your power.
Don’t try to justify your fascism.
    Ben burn (b3d5ab) — 2/9/2018 @ 8:25 am

Wrong. I have never banned anyone here. Plus, I have only asked Patterico for a ban one time the entire time I have moderated. I could have put you in moderation yesterday at Leviticus’ request, but didn’t because being an annoying liar doesn’t usually qualify you for moderation.

I believe like Patterico that the remedy for bad speech is good speech. Moderation and banning is for extremes. You can call me a fascist, but that doesn’t make me one.

    Stashiu3 (466cdf)

  473. Then we’ll see if an apology to you can be pursued.

    Ben burn (b3d5ab)

  474. On second thought let me apologize if I accused you of being dishonest.

    Ben burn (b3d5ab)

  475. I don’t want an apology from you. Do you have trouble comprehending that? It was the first sentence. You can go back and check. I never asked for an apology. Just a clear statement you were wrong.

You did lie then, and several times before that and in the short time since. You lied about me several times, even after knowing the truth (me being new for example.) I’m not going to bother linking them because that is just a distraction from the original point. You are a liar and nothing you say should be trusted at face value. It changes nothing.

The question is, do you have the integrity to admit you were wrong? So far, the answer is clear.

    Stashiu3 (466cdf)

  476. BTW, I block him. I only know what he has said when you guys engage him.

Yeah, you come to a comment thread and see a whole bunch of blanked-out comments from him and think, “Oh God, I’ll bet he is being his typical self again today.” But it’s kind of nice that you don’t have to read his garbage unless someone else quotes it in their post, which of course confirms that your suspicion about his unending obnoxiousness is confirmed.

    JVW (42615e)

  477. On second thought let me apologize if I accused you of being dishonest.
    Ben burn (b3d5ab) — 2/9/2018 @ 8:34 am

Not the point. Don’t know if you accused me of dishonesty per se, don’t care. Don’t want an apology. Admit you were wrong. Admit you were wrong about me implying I was a sockpuppet. Nothing more, nothing less.

    You apparently can’t do that.

    Stashiu3 (466cdf)

  478. But it’s kind of nice that you don’t have to read his garbage unless someone else quotes it in their post, which of course confirms that your suspicion about his unending obnoxiousness is confirmed.

    Ben burn (b3d5ab)

  480. You clearly can’t do it.

I’m not apologizing for something that is true. I already said that and proved you were an intentional liar.

Under cover of last week’s feverish reaction to the FBI memorandum released by Rep. In a letter signed Jan. 29th, but withheld from public view until the memo frenzy was peaking, the agency’s Trump-appointed acting director, David Apol, blessed a shockingly permissive arrangement for funneling cash to White House appointees and others linked to Trump.

  526. And please show where I made any threats towards you. I have specifically noted that you haven’t done anything to warrant moderation or banning, despite requests from others that I do so. Where are the threats Ben? hahaha

  527. This is one of those kinds of things which, if a person admits it, they beleive him and if a person denies it they do not beleive him

The accusation must be rendered absurd indirectly.

  528. 20° F: Floridians don coats, thermal underwear, gloves and wool hats

That part’s wrong. We put on the heavy coats, gloves and hats when the temp gets under 60. The thermal underwear comes out when the temps get into the 40s. But only if you have them. Through online ordering. The stores around here don’t see thermal underwear.

(No. I’m not joking there. But that’s why we put up with hurricanes. It’s 80 out now and I’m wearing a tee-shirt, with the a/c on for a couple of hours….)

And Dwayne Wade is back, so all’s well with the world.

  529. Exactly Sammy, thank you.

  530. kishnevi,

When I was at Tripler in Hawaii we had the same problem. Although, we already had all the cold weather gear you could need. I grew up in Michigan and I never knew where the Army might send me, so keeping that stuff handy for just in case made sense. Never used it there though. Even Diamondhead or the volcanoes on the Big Island weren’t big enough to get cold at the top.

  531. we had the same problem.

    I’m not sure I’d call it a problem 🙂

    kishnevi (bb03e6)

  532. Fair point, well made. 🙂

  533. My brother was stationed at Tripler for a while. I went to visit him while he was there, which was *not* the Hawai’i tourist experience everyone dreams of.

It’s amazing how much the building dominates the landscape.

  534. aphrael,

If you call it “The Big Pink Monster” while inside the medical center, it’s likely an administrator will correct you and tell you “It’s coral, not pink.” Lol.

The locals and many of the homeless VA Beneficiaries call it “Crippler” a lot. As my first assignment after commissioning and OBC, Hawaii was great. One child and one born there soon after we arrived, so my wife and kids spent most days at the beach or the Hale Koa Hotel (a military hotel where anyone with military ID could lounge, including dependents.)
