Trump Supporter: Trump Eats Children
From a press release from Trump supporter Sean O’Loughlin:
In terms of people and their sexual preferences, I could care less what people do behind closed doors and if two people love each other, the government should allow them to get married. In terms of racial relations, our neighborhoods, places of employment and public schools in New York City are more diverse than anywhere in the world. When people on the news call Donald Trump a racist, I find that statement difficult to believe. Like myself, Donald Trump is a life-long New Yorker. Donald Trump lives, works, eats and employs people of all races and religions. Like many of my fellow New Yorkers, Donald Trump speaks his mind and that type of behavior can easily be misunderstood by people who are not New Yorkers.
Yum!
UPDATE: Sure, the claim is that he eats “people” and not “children” — but children are people too!
He said it. I didn’t.
Patterico (bcf524) — 8/5/2016 @ 9:24 pmGood thing he didn’t say “owns”
Kevin M (25bbee) — 8/5/2016 @ 9:29 pmYo, Sean, I got your New York right here!
nk (dbc370) — 8/5/2016 @ 9:46 pm“In terms of people and their sexual preferences, I could care less what people do behind closed doors and if two people love each other, the government should allow them to get married.”

A lot of 60 year old adherents to Sharia law in Afghanistan would agree.
Cruz Supporter (102c9a) — 8/5/2016 @ 9:55 pmThey believe that they should be allowed to marry an eight year old child without any interference.
Use the Oxford comma will prevent confusion.
Tanny O'Haley (c674c7) — 8/5/2016 @ 10:21 pm“Donald Trump lives, works, meets and employs people of all races and religions.”
As far as the racist charge is concerned, people simply have to understand the dynamism and psyche of New Yorkers.
Say a black dude is crossing the street against the light and a black cabbie pulls up just short of hitting him and the pedestrian slams his fist on the hood of the cab and yells: “Hey, nigg*r… cain’t you see I’m fucking walkin’ here.!!”
Now is that racist?
Certanly not.
Its merely the subtext of one incident in a great city of diversity, language and mores.
People in “fly over” country should get a clue.
PTS (ce7fc3) — 8/5/2016 @ 10:40 pmI’m about to ask my doctor to put me in a coma until mid November. I don’t think I can stand watching this f’ing clown show.
SPQR (a3a747) — 8/5/2016 @ 10:41 pmKind of sucks when the rote recitation of your hackneyed cliche goes awry, doesn’t it?
JVW (3155e6) — 8/5/2016 @ 11:09 pmTrump endorsing traitor ryan. How fricking lame.
mg (31009b) — 8/6/2016 @ 12:28 amWhy not? He endorsed Hillary Clinton. Lots of times.
John Hitchcock (ec8c03) — 8/6/2016 @ 1:03 amI was hoping for a complete train wreck of the rino party.

Pinandpuller (c4bb9a) — 8/6/2016 @ 2:34 amThis Afghanistan place sounds a lot like Hollywood.
nk (dbc370) — 8/6/2016 @ 4:24 amAnd what yum will you have after another eight years of Hillary?
cedarhill (846440) — 8/6/2016 @ 4:57 amLove those New York Values.
DRJ (15874d) — 8/6/2016 @ 5:40 amTrump is endorsing the GOP establishment and its candidates. Trump is betraying his supporters to Beltway politicians who, unlike conservatives, will pretend to admire him.
DRJ (15874d) — 8/6/2016 @ 5:55 amVery droll, just remember we’re on red queen’s plate
narciso (732bc0) — 8/6/2016 @ 6:14 amRyan did it first, DRJ. As Chairman of the convention, he could have given the delegates who wanted to vote their conscience a chance. They weren’t asking for much — just a vote on whether the delegates should be released. Just a vote. I think these few days of seeming bickering between Trump and Ryan were only theater. It was “rigged” back in May.
nk (dbc370) — 8/6/2016 @ 6:19 am#11 Pinandpuller,
The brilliance of Islam permitting multiple wives is that if one of your child brides is grounded or another one wants to stay home and watch cartoons on television, you still have three or four others to choose from if you’re in the mood for a night on the town!
Cruz Supporter (102c9a) — 8/6/2016 @ 6:30 amnevertrumpers don’t eat children they just do the feculent stench of stinkypig all up in their sad hopeless widdle futures
this they call “principles”
happyfeet (28a91b) — 8/6/2016 @ 7:08 amA friend of mine was remarking that empires usually last about 250 years. That was true of Britain. He thinks we have had our moment in the sun. I’m tempted to agree.
(And Patrick, he didn’t say he eats children! He eats adults! For, as you know, allpoliticians are for the children.)
Patricia (5fc097) — 8/6/2016 @ 7:11 am17. Maybe the Cruz beef is theatre too. The RNC spectacle with its booing and Heidi-being-threatened was a tactical feint which created the illusion of a major defection from Trump. This steered HRC to pick vanilla oatmeal instead of a superlefty or a minority for VP. We’ll not know unless Cruz gets first crack as SC nominee.
urbanleftbehind (3098f0) — 8/6/2016 @ 7:26 amSo yesterday’s jobs report, featuring BLS increase of 250K, is all seasonal adjustment. Market is up big on the news despite evidence business is now in recession as corporate tax withholding is down 11% yoy.
#nevertrump hollers for four more years. Ciphers in every respect.
DNF (755a85) — 8/6/2016 @ 7:32 amC’mon. No one is surprised. DJT has always been exactly like this.
More to the point, he was the only candidate HRC could easily beat. If you are into conspiracies, that is.
The best part? Trump makes all his own mistakes, and never learns from them.
Such a pro operation, staffed by top people!
Simon Jester (cff76b) — 8/6/2016 @ 7:32 am15. Trump is on the contrary highlighting the betrayal of the Establishment(Donks and Deadmeat alike).
Your anal fixation makes your self-parody total.
DNF (755a85) — 8/6/2016 @ 7:36 am25. DJT beat all comers, tell us how for example my Governor Walker could have launched a grassfire being pro-Establishment this season.
Academics are idiot stooges of nanny-state government.
DNF (755a85) — 8/6/2016 @ 7:39 am17. Your tendentious argument, that the electors’ conscience override in many cases their own state law, and may justify with impunity invalidating the electorates they represent is ironic.
The law and justice in your mind have only a circumstantial connection.
DNF (755a85) — 8/6/2016 @ 7:48 amThat was litigated. State law stops at the printing of the ballot and the conduct of the voting at the precinct. The parties make the rules for everything else, including bound delegates, released delegates, and super delegates. Argue “changing the rules in the middle of the game” and you might know what you’re talking about.
nk (dbc370) — 8/6/2016 @ 8:08 amAnd teh band plays on…
Colonel Haiku (2601c0) — 8/6/2016 @ 8:10 amit’s all in the spirit of breitbart Mr. Colonel

happyfeet (28a91b) — 8/6/2016 @ 8:14 amDNF,
Trump is highlighting his opposition to the GOPe by endorsing them? That’s a novel approach.
DRJ (15874d) — 8/6/2016 @ 8:14 amAgainst my better judgment … What is my “anal fixation,” DNF?
DRJ (15874d) — 8/6/2016 @ 8:17 amMr. Trump is highlighting his opposition to stinkypig by finding allies where he can
highlighting his opposition to them partial birth stinkypig judges
highlighting is opposition to economic stagnation
God love him I know i sure do
happyfeet (28a91b) — 8/6/2016 @ 8:17 amhighlighting *his* opposition to economic stagnation i mean
happyfeet (28a91b) — 8/6/2016 @ 8:18 amNo one is going to force the gibbering, feces flinging ape off the bridge of the Trumptanic. He may jump off but if he does, it will only because he perceives it to be in his own best interest. I do not doubt the ability of the groveling coward to flee but it will take a few more weeks of catastrophic poll results to convince him and I doubt that will happen. His numbers will improve slightly and that will be enough to keep him on the bridge, even though the water will continue to get closer.
Rick Ballard (08a530) — 8/6/2016 @ 8:22 amTrump loves allies, hf, except for the ones he had his followers boo at the convention. It seems he’s picky about allies.
Trump’s Rule No. 1 (and the only rule) is: Trump is always right, even when he’s wrong.
DRJ (15874d) — 8/6/2016 @ 8:31 amBarack used his weakly (sic) address to speak about the Olympics.
He says that America’s tradition of winning boatloads of gold medals at the Summer Games is due to our diversity and immigrants.
And here I believed it was because our guys and gals just run faster, swim faster, and all that stuff.
Are Carl Lewis, Mark Spitz, Greg Louganis, Bruce Jenner, and Michael Phelps immigrants?
Then he said we as a country have unity in our national pride.
Huh?
I thought we were a terrible racist, sexist, homophobic, Islamophobic, country that hates poor people and wants children to go to bed hungry at night. Until eight years ago, his wife never felt proud about being an American — apparently not even back in 1984 when Carl Lewis was winning all those gold medals!
Barack deserves a gold medal for being full of it.
Cruz Supporter (102c9a) — 8/6/2016 @ 8:31 amGreetings:
I grew up in the Bronx of the ’50s and ’60s. The two major demographics in our small by New York standards neighborhood were those of Jewish heritage and those of my own Oyrish heritage. In the late evenings, while the Oyrish type were off in some local bar, the older Jewish guys would gather at the local “candy” store to await the arrival of the first edition of the next day’s paper. (This edition of the paper was particularly useful for the horse racing results which in turn were important for the calculation of day’s “number”, an illegal but popular kind of lottery which revolved around guessing a three-digit number that would yield a 500 to 1 payoff.) While awaiting the delivery truck’s arrival there would be a good deal of verbal bantering and jousting among the assembled usually starting off with what has been described as “truthful hyperbole” above and then continuing via efforts to either undermine or sustain the initial assertion. It was all pretty much good fun in “an evening with Don Rickles” kind of way. Mr. Trump has basically brought that bit of New Yorkana to the national stage.
11B40 (6abb5c) — 8/6/2016 @ 8:33 amTexas men like to gather in the mornings and, in a good-natured and sometimes profane way, rib each other about their foibles. Taking your friends down a peg in a friendly way keeps everyone humble. It’s why W often chose to be self-deprecating. Personally, I think humility is better than pride but Texas and New York have always had different values.
DRJ (15874d) — 8/6/2016 @ 8:42 ami do not think you understand what allies are
even america calls complete and utter trash like turkey and germany its “allies”
allies are what you do when there’s stinkypigs about
it has been forever thus
happyfeet (28a91b) — 8/6/2016 @ 8:43 amcome to think of it i don’t think harvardtrash ted has a very good handle on this “allies” concept either
happyfeet (28a91b) — 8/6/2016 @ 8:46 amVerily. Hillaryhead Democrats & #NeverTrumpers, man. Peace and Love Now. Stop Trump in 2016, man. And continued criminality, economic doldrums and American Decline? Beside the point, man. Because Peace and Love Now, man. And vote Democrat.
Colonel Haiku (2601c0) — 8/6/2016 @ 8:56 amI’m pretty sure that Bruce Jenner isn’t an immigrant, Mr Barack! (LOL)
Cruz Supporter (102c9a) — 8/6/2016 @ 8:56 amDone and dusted, 11B40.
Colonel Haiku (2601c0) — 8/6/2016 @ 8:57 amTrump made a deal to end the TPP for the pre-election future. The fact that he had to endorse Ryan to do it sticks in my craw, but the fact that he did it tepidly on a Friday night shows the man has a sense of style.
Here’s hoping Paul Nehlen knocks him over anyway, and Trump stares his sorry lame duck ass down with ‘YOU PROMISED YOU’D KEEP A HOLD ON IT’ if Ryan moves toward TPP in the interim.
(The best way to endorse Ryan at that rally would have been: “Republicans! We all have to hang together, so I recommend that you vote your conscience up and down the ticket…”
Dystopia Max (76803a) — 8/6/2016 @ 8:58 amAlso, to keep on topic: Donald Trump is a hunter. He doesn’t eat his kills-that’s what Chris Christie is for.
Dystopia Max (76803a) — 8/6/2016 @ 9:00 amWhen you’re trying to get away from New York, and you see the light at the end of the tunnel, and it’s New Jersey ….
nk (dbc370) — 8/6/2016 @ 9:15 am27. “That was litigated”
Thanks for proving my point.
30. The obvious import of Trump’s endorsement is Ryan, McCain, et al. are in word and deed opposing not just Trump in support of HRC and her globalist, interventionist agenda but the clear majorities state by state of their party’s electorate, e.g., a moratorium on unvetted Muslim immigration.
Your lame accusation that he is betraying his voters promotes an simplistic absolutist interpretation which has neither been presented or polled and is evident on first reading. If you do not want to be understood as childish in your passionate snark, just refrain.

Funny you should mention that. I spent time in Texas, up around Mineral Wells, back in the late ’60s and it left me with the idea that if I hadn’t been from the Bronx, Texas wouldhave been totally acceptable. Do they still switch off between the felt and straw Stetsons in the spring ???
11B40 (6abb5c) — 8/6/2016 @ 9:32 amMinerals Wells is where Mr. Ric Locke was from
happyfeet (28a91b) — 8/6/2016 @ 9:37 amRemember – Trump is wholly dependent upon the RNC for GOTV structure and support. The notion that these people became a success by themselves is yet another bit of imperial arrogance that should be apologized for.
Most important about the Olympics opening ceremony, Master Barack insists, were the tributes to the evils of slavery forced on Brazil by the white man and the truths of Global Warming.
These were the tableaux that made this opening ceremony great and historic.
Moochelle has never been prouder of her country than when these truths were revealed in Brazil.
