The singer, Bryan Harvey, was murdered along with his wife and two daughters in a home invasion robbery on New Year’s Day 2006 in Richmond, VA.

I was fortunate enough to see House of Freaks in L.A. before Harvey’s murder. Watching two guys make all that sound was impressive.

I used to go to Jazz Fest with my buddies for a number of years, until they started becoming dads and their priorities shifted accordingly. Man, I need to go back again. Pearl Jam and Van Morrison were tonight’s headliners, but I doubt that AXS tv has the rights to show their performances. Galactic played what appeared to be an awesome set, and House Man made an appearance with them for a song. Good stuff.
