I Looked Up “Smug” in the Dictionary…
…and found this.
iowahawk puts it in perspective:
This picture says more about the state of the nation than his mouth ever could.

From one of his aides: “The country actually switched from one dominant culture that was in charge for 240 years to one that’s multicultural.”
So he won. Of course he’s smirking.
Patricia (5fc097) — 12/29/2015 @ 9:00 amA society which is multicultural is in reality non-cultural. And boys, that is us.
Rev. Barack Hussein Hoagie™ (f4eb27) — 12/29/2015 @ 9:16 amHe knows his place in history is secure. And it is.
Kevin M (25bbee) — 12/29/2015 @ 9:21 amSmug ain’t all that far from smarmy, and one man’s freedom fighter is another man’s traitor. Barack Obama is the latter, his record in office proves it.
ropelight (a520ba) — 12/29/2015 @ 9:22 amThey misspelled #STFU.
L.N. Smithee (e750c1) — 12/29/2015 @ 9:35 amI wonder if he will mention bringing peace to Syria.
Kevin M (25bbee) — 12/29/2015 @ 9:43 am240 years of freedom undone by seven years of the theft & slavery of Socialism. No wonder this prick has a smug, snotty look on his ugly face.
CrustyB (69f730) — 12/29/2015 @ 9:44 amGood god, hide that thing behind a warning or something.
Edoc118 (05a689) — 12/29/2015 @ 10:23 amThe “dominant culture that was in charge for 240 years” was multicultural. Just because a presidential aide can’t tell the difference between two cultures doesn’t mean they’re not distinct.
CayleyGraph (353727) — 12/29/2015 @ 10:26 am“Dominant culture” means “ofay”. Just be clear about that.
Kevin M (25bbee) — 12/29/2015 @ 10:28 amDouchebag says what?
Bugg (fa64ec) — 12/29/2015 @ 10:39 amhe cheapened the office and all the Rs can do is find themselves a no-account one term senate slut to take his place
what a pathetic country
happyfeet (a037ad) — 12/29/2015 @ 10:42 amoh god and now puck just got arrested for kiddie porn
i need a diet red bull this is very dispiriting this whole stupid day
happyfeet (a037ad) — 12/29/2015 @ 11:04 amThis is a very long read, and I don’t agree with all of it…but it definitely has a finger or two on the problems we face.

You see, folks just care about being one of the “cool kids.” And slogans count more than fact. It’s much easier, for example, to become a human bumper sticker than do any work by thinking or investigating or…well, thinking.
And folks on the Right do it to, as is clear from some of the stuff I see…even here.
I don’t have a solution. But the ironic part is that, if someone non-DNC gets into office, how very different the bumper stickers will be.
We have a big fight in front of us. Some will choose to opt out. Some will choose to shoot their mouths off. Others will do what they can to stave off the Bad Things To Come.
I guess I understand all three points of view. But I am proud to be in the last group.
Simon Jester (d30910) — 12/29/2015 @ 11:05 amHe reflects the sloppy, lazy, two-faced liberalism that is roiling the US and the Western World in general.
Mark (74fce8) — 12/29/2015 @ 11:12 amOh, and folks?
Elections have consequences.
Something to think about.
Simon Jester (d30910) — 12/29/2015 @ 12:48 pmYou would be smug if you were 54 years old and never worked a day in your life, too?
Jim (bbb7b2) — 12/29/2015 @ 2:24 pmGeez, even Trump wouldn’t pose for a pic like that!
Icy (b83f97) — 12/29/2015 @ 2:29 pmIs that real? Seriously?
Beasts of England (d0d78a) — 12/29/2015 @ 2:35 pmOughtta be an evening gown…
Colonel Haiku (2601c0) — 12/29/2015 @ 5:22 pmre #19: ditto. Is that from a humor site?
seeRpea (7be2b6) — 12/29/2015 @ 5:35 pmSuch a load.
mg (31009b) — 12/29/2015 @ 5:58 pmpetulant prick
mg (31009b) — 12/29/2015 @ 6:02 pmFrom one of his aides: “The country actually switched from one dominant culture that was in charge for 240 years to one that’s multicultural.”
He also brought peace and security to Syria. If an Obama aide says something, you can take it to … the hash pipe.
nk (dbc370) — 12/29/2015 @ 6:48 pmUgh.
Can this man tell the difference between a terrifying, solemn office and Oprah’s green room?
bridget (37b281) — 12/29/2015 @ 7:01 pmThe smug a-hole never will understand that he wasn’t handed the job to rule America, but to serve her. Surrounds himself with clueless yes-men/women and has come closer to running the country into the ground than anyone who has ever held the office.
Colonel Haiku (2601c0) — 12/29/2015 @ 7:02 pmPresident Obama’s first SOTU address, February 24, 2009:
House of Representatives – 254 Democrats, 178 Republicans, 3 open seats
Senate – 56 Democrats, 41 Republicans, 2 independents, 1 open seat
President Obama’s final SOTU address, January 16, 2016:
House of Representatives [projected] – 246 Republicans, 188 Democrats, 1 open seat
Senate [projected] – 54 Republicans, 44 Democrats, 2 independents
Thanks Obama!
JVW (d60453) — 12/29/2015 @ 11:16 pmWhite tie without tails?
Just goes to how he’s not as smart as he think he is.
Unless, of course, he’s the groom at a middle-class wedding in the 60’s. (Personal joke at my own expense… but, in my own defense, my SATs were only in the low 700’s) 🙂
