Not Even The Most Innocent Are Spared

Filed under: General — Dana @ 8:28 pm

[guest post by Dana]

It is being reported that ISIS has issued a fatwa to kill infants and children with Down Syndrome or congenital deformities. Reportedly, since a Sharia judge made the religious decree, at least 38 babies less than three months old have been killed by lethal injection or suffocation.

The group says it has monitored the deaths of several children with Down Syndrome and congenital deformities. They learned of an “Oral Fatwa” issued by the sharia board of the Islamic State authorizing its members to “kill newborn babies with Down’s [sic] Syndrome and congenital deformities and disabled children.”

The Fatwa was issued by a Saudi sharia judge named Abu Said Aljazrawi.

The post also reports that most of the children born with Down Syndrome have been the offspring of foreign fighters who married Iraqi, Syrian and Asian women.

Given that we already know ISIS does not value human life, and that no one is exempt from their monstrous cruelty, this decree to eliminate the most innocent of all, nevertheless, horrifies down to the bone. God help us if anyone believes that this group has some infinitesimal thread of decency in them. Because if they do, then they still don’t recognize unmasked evil when confronted by it, nor grasp that these vicious animals make their home, and exist, in the darkest depths of depravity – not unlike those who came before them.

May each little one that perishes at the hands of these monsters be lovingly welcomed home by God, where He will gently wipe every tear from their eyes.

  1. Hello.

  2. Oh look, something ISIS and Planned Parenthood can agree on.

  3. I find this hard to believe. What is Mosul Eye?

    nk (dbc370)

  4. According to Breitbart, nk, it’s an activist Iraqi site:

Mosul Eye claims to report directly from Mosul, and has reliably reported on Islamic State incidents in the past. It has been called “one of most accurate chronicles of life under Islamic State rule.”

  5. Nothing “our” intellectual elite wouldn’t agree with.

  6. ‘death panels’ she said, this is why I think the Islamic State, is the resurrected First Order, of the Golden Square, the Nazi remnant that perpetrated the Farhud,

  7. Nk,

Exactly why is this hard for you to believe?

    Dana (86e864)

  8. ANY QUESTIONS?

They need those to qualify for refugee status. One couple I knew had a “death list” with their names on it. Ok, then.

I’ll go out on a limb and say that I trust Arabs in Mosul reporting ISIS killing newborns just as much as I trust Arabs in Gaza reporting Israelis shelling schoolhouses.

  9. To elaborate, Dana, the first casualty of war is the truth.

  10. the kurds were probably killed off, the Dalek element is strong in them,

    narciso (732bc0)

  11. While that may be true, nk, I’m still curious why you would have difficulty believing this?

    Dana (86e864)

  12. Sorry, I didn’t see your last comment.

    Dana (86e864)

  13. I hope and pray it isn’t true, but it’s entirely believable.

  14. Well, if it is true, then Obama is right and these people are not real Muslims. Muslims are supposed to be charitable to the disabled. In the Koran, Mohammed is rebuked — yes, Mohammed — rebuked — in the Koran — for turning away from a blind man, and the verse goes on to say in essence, “What makes you so high and mighty Mr. Prophet, you were made from a drop of sperm yourself?” Another verse in the Koran says, “You are granted strength and victory for the sake of the weakest among you”.

  15. the residents of khaybar were unavailable for comment,

    narciso (732bc0)

  16. The Jews of Khaybar were not members of the community. According to the Facebook post, these children are. Children of ISIS fighters, it says. Another reason not to believe it. Who, in their right minds, demoralize their soldiers by ordering their children killed?

Fighting for the Cause of Allah (Jihaad)

    (146) Chapter: Probability of killing the babies and children

    Narrated As-Sab bin Jaththama:

The Prophet (ﷺ) passed by me at a place called Al-Abwa or Waddan, and was asked whether it was permissible to attack the pagan warriors at night with the probability of exposing their women and children to danger. The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, “They (i.e. women and children) are from them (i.e. pagans).” I also heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, “The institution of Hima is invalid except for Allah and His Apostle.”

The Book of Jihad and Expeditions

    (48) Chapter: Women who take part in military expeditions are to be given a reward but not a regular share; And the prohibition of killing children of the enemy

This tradition has been narrated by the game authority (Yazid b. Hurmus) through a different chain of transmitters with the following difference in the elucidation of one of the points raised by Najda in his letter to Ibn Abas:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used not to kill the children, so thou shouldst not kill them unless you could know what Khadir had known about the child he killed, or you could distinguish between a child who would grow up to he a believer (and a child who would grow up to be a non-believer), so that you killed the (prospective) non-believer and left the (prospective) believer aside.

To give credit where credit is due, according to the ahadith Muhammmad forbade the targeted killing of women and children. He also forbade the pagan Arabic practice of killing unwanted girl children. One of his few of his actual advances in favor of women’s rights. But collateral damage is permissable. The women and children of the unbelievers are, after all, of the unbelievers. Whom the Muslims are commanded to fight.

I don’t know where these guys are getting the justification for their eugenics program to kill children with Down’s Syndrome. It may be that a child with Down’s Syndrome won’t grow up to be a believer.

    Steve57 (50e6a1)

  18. There is also the possibility that the report of ISIS justifying the killing children with Down’s Syndrome are false.

Sorry Dana, I gotta call ’em as I see ’em. The report mentions an “oral fatwa,” which would be hard to verify. And it’s hardly unknown for even the good guys to exaggerate the cruelty and inhumanity of their enemies in time of war. Not like it’s needed, especially in this case.

But it does happen. I’m not saying that happened here, just that it’s as much a possibility as the rumor of this oral fatwa bearing out. Six of one, half dozen of the other.

  19. If Islam didn’t invent the double standard, they certainly codified it into religious dogma.

Muslims are peaceful toward other Muslims, toward non-believers they are authorized, encouraged, to lie, deceive, cheat, and murder with full immunity from spiritual retribution and even with the promise of a heavenly reward from an appreciative god.

    Except, they aren’t that either

This type of behavior is an outcome of believing that you are carrying out the will of an almighty, all-knowing, all good being who created the universe. From their standpoint they have the right sacred book and the right interpretation, they are convinced this is moral.

    God help us if…….

    Facepalm.

  22. Well, you can say for sure that they are not Catholics. They also want all the women married to jihadists to practice birth control, because – they tell the men – a man with a child is less likely to volunteer to commit suicide.

There shouldn’t be any children, but the instructions not to have children may date from after these children were born. They may be a year or two old. maybe they don’t even have Downs syndrome and maybe they are not all disabled, just a burden.

  23. It’s perfectly believeable, since Daesh comes up with whatever religous rulings they want/ Under normative Islam, no person is supposed to be burned to death or even afetr death, but they found reasons to do that to the Jordanian pilot. They’re just making things up. They are not liited by anything you might think their religion teaches, except maybe things that are unmistakable, like no alcohol and no pigs. And even then, only when they have no reason to alter it.
