What’s happening to the land of the free and the home of the brave, you know, the nation that would fight any foe, the one that could tell the difference between friends, allies, and enemies, the nation that would attack immediately, directly, and violently any and all enemies, and let Pollyanna naysayers suffer the consequences of their insolence? What happened to the USA, the one that carried a big stick and talked softly?

   What happened? Barack Hussein Obama was elected President and the US became the land of sheep and the home of serial victims of jihadi terrorism.

   How come Obama doesn’t do anything about it? Where are our hard won national traditions of individual freedom and independence from government tyranny? Why aren’t we united in our fight against foreign enemies bent on killing unarmed citizens inside our own country? Time after time a pack of sub-human Islamic animals butcher our most vulnerable citizens and instead of naming the enemy and getting about the task of sending them to hell we obsess about their motives – which are as obvious as a fish in the milk.

   Obama’s already inflicting as much destruction on America as he possibly can without revealing himself as the most successful jihadi since Muhammad himself. In order to keep on killing Americans and destroying the nation’s economy Obama has to retain a modicum of plausible deniability otherwise his knee-jerk leftist supporters might begin to look beyond his skin color and their prejudice against anyone who won’t kowtow to their insane socialist agenda, they might start asking questions about the content of Obama’s perverted character.

   I think “Reagan Democrats” and “Kennedy (John) Democrats” were more alike than different.

4. There is something going on here about this attack. Unlike any previous shooting the left seems particularly disinterested in the motivation of the attackers. The left also seems disinterested in the fact the guy took his wife with him, a thoroughly unusual act for just a “shooter”. They also had EID’s and home made bombs. Again, indicative of a terrorist not shooter. Being moslem, having recently visited the ME, marrying, recent beard growth and the volume of ammo shouts “terrorist” yet the left fails to care about motive. Rather they’ve latched on to this incident as a cause celebre for more gun control. They’re even bad-mouthing persons who offer their prayers as if it’s some sort of insult rather than compassion.

   IOW, at this particular time and over this particular event in history the left is gearing up for gun confiscation. They keep talking out of the side of their mouths with this “close the loopholes” crap but we know there are very few loopholes and so far, none apply here. So their only “loophole” is private gun ownership by American citizens. Perhaps the left wants to commit to a civil war?

   Definitely before. I put it at the election of 1968. For the nearly two years prior, the (legitimately) humorous Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour put LBJ in the spotlight as the villain of VietNam. Then, when the chaotic Democratic Party seemed intent on nominating Humphrey, when the best next alternative for the Democrats was George Wallace, and when CBS censored the Brothers sneer at the Democratic convention by replacing a skit with, of all things, a extended-cut commercial for Republican Richard Nixon — well, left-leaning humorists lost it.

   Well, just last week they were telling us that America’s greatness would be magnified by importing in 65,000 new Moslems (Hillary!’s desired figure is closer to 100,000) from war-torn countries. I guess it’s not surprising that they really don’t want to revisit those plans in light of yesterday’s events and would instead prefer to focus on guns. There is no bottom to the depth of their cynicism.

   This particular case of jihad comes at an inconvenient time for Obama politically, with his lectures regarding the claims of Syrian refugees sitting in the background and the new wave yet to land on our shores. It makes the critics he has obnoxiously disparaged as heartless ingrates seem like prudent guardians of our fellow citizens. Obama has an entirely different agenda and it doesn’t take an observer with the deductive powers of Sherlock Holmes to figure it out either.

    Like I’ve told other people who seriously bring up that tired canard: the Aussies never had a Second Amendment. When Port Arthur happened, the government took the opportunity to not let a crisis go to waste, and made owning personal weapons almost impossible. The entire nation was punished for the bad behavior of one man.

    Actually, I should say buying personal weapons. I understand there are still quite a few out there, but the owners are very hush-hush about it. The buybacks were “voluntary”, but God help you if you get caught.
