Sarah Palin: This White House? What a Bunch Of Chickens!

Filed under: General — Dana @ 6:33 pm

[guest post by Dana]

In a recent interview, Sarah Palin said she thought the White House refusal to use the term “radical Islam” was a “chicken” thing to do:

“It is, in a sense, being a chicken,” Palin said, “as was made manifest when we didn’t have a high-ranking official go over and unify with other world leaders to say, ‘No, this Islamic fundamentalism that is resulting in such terror across the globe, we’re not gonna have that in our land.”

“The White House, when you talk about issues like that, they are so off base, they are so out-of-touch with the rest of America, who of course understand this radical Muslim interpretation of the Koran, that would say you get to kill an infidel just because you disagree with what their beliefs are.”

“For the White House to not want to articulate other terms that describe what it is I’m describing, tells you that they really are out-of-touch. They’re so politically correct, and yet they’re so politically wrong on just about everything, and I think that’s unfortunate.”

And when asked about a possible Mitt Romney run, Palin just wasn’t feeling it:

“We need new energy. We need new blood. We need new ideas…”

She also admitted to wanting (gasp!) the best *person* for the job of president:

‘I don’t give a flying flip about what gender the person will be,’ Palin told Norville, who asked her if electing a female president was important.

‘I want the absolute best because America deserves the best, in terms of leadership, getting this country on the right track.’

‘But yeah, it would be nice,’ she finally admitted, ‘and it will be nice to see women jump into the ring.’

This Palin chick is certainly no chicken.

  1. Hello.

  2. My wife was a lifelong Democrat. Sarah Palin was the first Republican to earn her vote.

  5. I don’t think Obama’s reluctance to allow the use of “islamic extremism/terrorism” has anything to do with normal PC crap. It’s that he’s declared that whole thing over, ended, “on the run” except for the “JV squad.” And Obama never admits a mistake. EVER. The closest he’s ever come is saying he hadn’t fully explained how great his health care plan was, AFTER giving 54 speeches on the subject in one year.

Add that to an innate softness on radical islam, evidenced by his embrace of Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhood and willingness to relieve sanctions on Iran on speculation.

  6. It’s got more to do with his middle name than most everyone wants to admit. Nomen est omen.

  7. I’m with Estragon and in disagreement with Sarah on the “chicken” part. It’s part resistance to anything that looks like admission of error, and part a major difference in world view on the whole issue of how Islam interacts with today’s world. (nb: not saying all Islamic interaction is negative, just taking its interactions in one large bundle and saying the bundle has more negative in it than it should. A lot more.)

O doesn’t see Islam as practiced on balance a negative factor to the world. He sees it as positive.

But Sarah is right that O is out of touch. The above is one example of how that’s true.

  9. 5. Princess is not at bottom an incompetent, naive ideologue but rather Abaddon’s anointed.

Why else go all in on destroying peerless Bolshevik Putin over his opposition to Islam.

The Renegade purposes an end to the Sunni-Shi’a schism post realization of Dar al Islam.

Wake up America, she’s just not into you.

  10. While Obama is running around insisting ISIS is unislamic, it’s important to note that ISIS is only slightly more unislamic than other states that also call themselves Islamic. If you go by Prom Queen’s own standards which make ISIS unislamic.
