“Bo Snerdley” Speaks To The Black Community

Filed under: General — Dana @ 7:05 am

[guest post by Dana]

Rush Limbaugh’s call screener and right-hand man James Golden (“Bo Snerdley”) was interviewed by Ginny Thomas (wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas) and discussed the black commmunity in America. Golden, who himself is black, made the following interesting and provocative points:

“What liberalism has done to the black communities, it’s not a monolithic community, is horrific.”

“Most black people live their lives as conservatives; a lot of them vote liberal because that’s the way their families vote, that’s what they grew up voting. And because they believe the press hype, and by the way Republicans haven’t helped. The last batch of Republicans in DC haven’t help with the branding.”

“The progress for black people is not going to be found politically it’s going to be found inside. This hope and change thing has translated into the same old BS: let’s blame the Republicans for everything.”

“Message to Black America: there are no Republicans in your neighborhood. They left years ago. They are not there. They are not to blame for your problems. The problems in your neighborhood are the problems of those people in your neighborhood. The reason why black people have problems in black neighborhoods is not due to Republicans.”

“By the way, Obama was never in your neighborhood either. And he’s not coming. Unless you’re up in Martha’s Vineyard and you’ve got a golf course.”

And speaking of Rush Limbaugh, a Texas waitress-turned-writer who received two $1,000 tips from Limbaugh, claimed that because the tips felt “like blood money”, she was compelled to give it all to an abortion charity:

“It felt like laundering the money in a good way,” she says. “He’s such an obvious target for any feminist or sane person. It was really bizarre to me that he gave me $2,000, and he’s evil incarnate in some ways.”

  1. Hello.

    Dana (4dbf62)

  2. Has anyone gotten evidence of her donating that money ? That is one of those “too good to check” stories. My daughter worked as a waitress in college and I cannot imagine any waitress giving away $2000.

  3. it’s not a monolithic community,

It is ideologically or politically when surveys indicate that something like over 90% of people in black America vote for liberals/Democrats, with rare exceptions. That astonishing and unhealthy degree of liberal bias is rarely pointed out, even by Republicans or conservatives.

For instance, I’ve heard and read more comments through the years about how bastions of conservatism should be associated with trailer parks and rednecks, or supposedly stupid people in general. But the simple observation that the most dysfunctional and failed areas throughout America are invariably predominantly liberal or leftwing is not cited as frequently.

The paradigm that is the city of Detroit really deserves to be the poster child of liberalism, and a warning to sane people of how things can become very bad, never really change for the better, and of how many people in the middle of such communities refuse to change their voting habits and ideological preferences. Or, as the saying goes, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

  4. Yeah, because nothing says “caring” better than giving money so innocent babies can be killed in their mother’s womb. What a sanctimonious idiot.

  5. Speaking of racists, Eric Holder is stepping down. What are the odds that the next AG actually does his job?

    Edoc118 (c37322)

  6. I love how liberals vouch for equality and tolerance by being intolerant and promoting inequality.

Liberals think they do good simply because they are liberal.

    Edoc118 (c37322) — 9/25/2014 @ 8:27 am

What are the odds Obama will nominate a new AG in the next two years? Many of the vacancies in the court aren’t from so called republican obstruction, but because Obama has failed to nominate someone for that position.

    Tanny O'Haley (066e8f)

  8. Holder stepping down? I’m hoping Obama nominates Oakland civil rights attorney John Burris for AG. He has the far-left politics and a voice like Rochester of the Jack Benny Show.

    Colonel Haiku (d0a528)

  9. Like Dr. Mike, I strongly doubt that the biscuit shooter gave away the $2,000.00 to an abortion clinic or to anybody else. Unless it was to pay for her own abortion.

  10. how ungracious and trashy

not what she did with the money but publicizing it is something a sleazy whore would do

that’s not how texas people are supposed to be have

    happyfeet (a785d5)

  12. i thought civil rights activist Rand Paul had made major inroads into the African American community

this Snerdley feller obviously didn’t get the memo

  13. “By the way, Obama was never in your neighborhood either. And he’s not coming. Unless you’re up in Martha’s Vineyard and you’ve got a golf course.”
Has anyone ever said it better?
    Bo Snerdley for President!

  14. Name one Republican platform that’s racist. Most Democrats will say “they vote against welfare” in one breath and then say “there more whites on welfare than blacks, associating blacks with welfare is racist” in the next. Does anyone see the conflict in logic there?

    CrustyB (69f730)

  15. @7:

My guess is Obama will purposely nominate another far-left hack, republicans will predictably block it, and then Obama gets to continue his habit of ignoring the real issues by bemoaning “republican obstruction.” That way, whenever he gets questioned about some scandal, he can just respond “oh, I’d love to investigate that, but obstructionist republicans won’t let me appoint a new Attorney General. It’s such a shame.”

    Edoc118 (c37322)

  16. Name one Republican platform that’s racist.

the weirdo republican fetus fetishism way disproportionately affects minorities who are significantly more likely to need abortion services than not-minorities

also Team R is really big on the whole drug war thing which has been a total disaster for everyone but disproportionately so for minorities

also Team R is aggressively pushing for wholesale amnesty for illegals what will make life even more difficult for young African Americans who seek employment

I’m not sure though if numbers 2 and 3 are in the platform per se

Team R is increasingly not very transparent about their agenda

  18. “the weirdo republican fetus fetishism way disproportionately affects minorities who are significantly more likely to need abortion services than not-minorities”

why is that mr. feets and what do you mean by “need”?

    daleyrocks (bf33e9)

  19. it’s what they mean by need

in places where we have a relatively free market in abortion services in America minorities consistently avail themselves of them way more than non-minorities

so when you take them away like Rick Perry it’s minorities what are way more affected duh

    happyfeet (a785d5)

  20. Feets is a fan of eugenics? Say it ain’t so!

    Colonel Haiku (d0a528)

  21. i’m a fan of letting people make their own choices

that government governs best what governs least

    happyfeet (a785d5)

  22. it’s what they mean by need

But is what you said not somebody else, so you get to splain it, which you have not done

Why not just call them “those people” or something like you really want to

    daleyrocks (bf33e9)

  23. There’s an argument for everything. When God cursed us with language, he cursed us with the ability to call water “dry” and fire “cold”. Sot it’s best to think of things and not words (Oliver Wendell Holmes). Things like tiny little arms and legs swirling around a toilet.

    narciso (ee1f88)

  25. Mr. daley if oodles of people are choosing with their monies to use a particular service then the government should have a very compelling reason to delimit their freedom to do so

that’s just basic limited government thinking

and if it’s also a service disproportionately used by any particular group or class of people then it’s just common sense to recognize that delimiting the freedom to use that service is going to affect that group or class more than it would other people

and if you’re advocating for delimiting freedoms in such a way that your actions disproportionately affect people what are not in your political party, then you’re gonna have a more difficult time persuading those people to join your party

    how is this even controversial?

    happyfeet (a785d5)

  26. You’re right, nk, it’s their choice to send the tiny limbs to the sewer, enlightened, no accounts that they are.

    Colonel Haiku (d0a528)

  27. Personally, I don’t want any part of people who choose to shake hands with the devil.

    Colonel Haiku (d0a528)

  28. “Mr. daley if oodles of people are choosing with their monies to use a particular service then the government should have a very compelling reason to delimit their freedom to do so”

mr. feets you are continuing to dodge the “need” part of you explanation. Are you suggesting that minorities are too stupid and/or lazy to use birth control which is now available free which is why they disproportionately need services of abortion providers? What point were you trying to make?

how is this even controversial? – I completely agree that it should in the least be controversial to have minimal sanitary and health standards for fetus flensing salons enforced through regular actual inspections as proposed in many states to avoid a Gosnell repeat, but people such as yourself and the abortion lobby get the vapors over such proposals and seem to care only about the fetus chopping and not about actual wimmins health.

    daleyrocks (bf33e9)

  29. If you need all that many long words to say something, happyfeet, it’s likely bulls**t. It’s a rule that pretty much works pretty much most of the time.

  33. Politics are paramount as we approach the mid-term elections. Obama needs a way to mobilize his base if Dems are to stand a chance of avoiding a bloodbath. Likely, he’ll appoint a black woman so Dems can go on the warpath accusing the GOP of an ongoing racist war on women.

Harry Reid already has the nuclear option tuned-up and waiting on the launch pad. Dems are ready for the countdown to begin, their talking points are all focus group approved and distributed eyes-only, media enablers are chomping at the bit, candidates have been briefed and are on stand-by, and Obama has the launch codes pre-programmed on his new iphone. Ladies and Gentlemen — Start Your Engines!

If I was Limbaugh I’d tell any future wait people that thanks to
scrunts like her the 1,000 tips are over.

It’s not so much that she felt compelled to do what she did, it’s that
she needed to tell the world about it. I’ll bet she’s feeling all

  39. As to replacing the AG, the ball is now firmly on Mitch McConnell’s side of the court.
Let the voters of KY ask him repeatedly whether he believes a replacement should be confirmed in the Lame Duck Session, or in Regular Order next year. If he is half as skilled as Mr. Byrd of WV was in parliamentary procedure, he will have any nomination blocked until the new Senate is sworn in. If he can’t, he doesn’t deserve re-election.

  41. t’s not a monolithic community,

It is ideologically or politically when surveys indicate that something like over 90% of people in black America vote for liberals/Democrats, with rare exceptions.

And you keep getting this from whom – oh that’s right the Liberal media. Oh course it helps them by making conservative blacks feel marginalized. It also, no doubt, assists in wholesale theft of the black vote. After all everybody knows “all blacks think alike”. Just ask the “black leaders” who seem to be more a creation of the LSM, than anything else. I always wonder about the willingness of some people to accept that stat. I mean when have you gotten 95% of people to agree on ANYTHING. If you get 100 people and ask them what they prefer for breakfast, I doubt that you would get that level of agreement. I mean, doesn’t it even make you wonder? Do you also accept that 95% of the people in North Korea really love Kim?

  45. So if Republicans ban shoplifting and it turns out the majority of shoplifters are Samoan, then Republicans are racist against Samoans.

    Liberal logic.

    CrustyB (d4da92)

  46. if all the East Samoans shoplifted stuff from West Samoa and took it all back home they’d tip over Mr. Crusty

    everyone knows that duh

    happyfeet (a785d5)

  47. Hey ! CrustyB ! How can you even imply that Samoans are shoplifters !

Everyone knows that the poor innocent Samoans just were out buying things, an’ then moa things, and then decided they need samoa things (but had forgotten to bring enough tala) – that’s all ! Why do you think they are called Samoans ?

    Alastor (2e7f9f)

  48. And you keep getting this from whom – oh that’s right the Liberal media. Oh course it helps them by making conservative blacks feel marginalized.

Actually, my sense is that the media and people in general — left, center or right — rarely point out just how mindlessly and unhealthily liberal or leftwing much of black America is. Why that is, I’m not sure.

I’ve noticed many racists/bigots, including anti-Semites, seem to sidestep the ideological biases of people or individuals, perhaps because liberal or conservative sentiment doesn’t interest or agitate bigots as much as superficial qualities do (eg, skin color or religious history).

Many liberals also don’t hone in on the absurdly monolithic liberalism of the black community, perhaps because that would run counter to the left’s belief that liberalism imbues a people and society with great, uplifting, beautiful, successful qualities.

The one group I have the greatest respect for in this society are truly (truly) conservative black people, since they must often feel like a lone voice in the wilderness, the odd man out, the pariah, the black sheep (pun not intended) of the family.

  49. She didn’t give away the $2000 tip. She might enjoy preening her moral superiority now that Rush has given her the platform, but she’s not going to pay two grand for the priveledge. It’s very simple. Have her produce the receipt for the donation, or maybe she wants to admit she’s so stupid she’s not going to take the tax deduction. This whole thing smells like BS to me.

  50. Name one Republican platform that’s racist.

the weirdo republican fetus fetishism way disproportionately affects minorities who are significantly more likely to need abortion services than not-minorities

You mean actually wanting minority babies to live. That’s not racist.

also Team R is really big on the whole drug war thing which has been a total disaster for everyone but disproportionately so for minorities

Not wanting people’s lives to be destroyed by drugs. Not racist.

also Team R is aggressively pushing for wholesale amnesty for illegals what will make life even more difficult for young African Americans who seek employment

Will have a disparate impact on blacks and destroys the poor, still not racists since it “helps” minorities.

    Tanny O'Haley (066e8f)

  51. also Team R is aggressively pushing for wholesale amnesty for illegals what will make life even more difficult for young African Americans who seek employment

  57. Happyfeet,

I am curious where you get the idea that Republicans are in favor of massive amnesty for illegals. The majority of “Team R” Senators do not support amnesty. The same for most Representatives. It is just a few of the “leadership who are making that push and they need to be removed from office for an extreme lack of leadership and morals.

Like Dr. Mike, I strongly doubt that the biscuit shooter gave away the $2,000.00 to an abortion clinic or to anybody else. Unless it was to pay for her own abortion.

That was her second job. Her main job was being the the executive director of the Texas Equal Abortion (TEA) Fund (which pays for abortions)

She evidently worked (part time?) as waitress at the steakhouse, to help gather some more material for her book, which involved a waitress at a fine-dining Dallas steakhouse, or maybe as insurance.

She got this job at the steakhouse she was 25 and worked there for almost seven years, which included some point in the year 2007. She is still under 35 (the age cutoff for the book award)

She doesn’t say if she raised her own salary at approximately the same time she contributed the $2,000, but that could explain her comment that “It felt like laundering the money in a good way,”
