Brad Delp singing Beatles songs, starting with the incredible “It Won’t Be Long” followed by “All My Loving.”

Played at a high school.

  1. Poor Brad Delp . . . I was fortunate enough to see him during the tour for Boston’s 2nd album in early ’79. A tremendous talent! It’s sad how his time on this sphere ended.

  2. Yep, Icy, he was a very talented guy. Great rock and roll vocalist and from all reports a very nice man. Watching this makes me think of fun times I had with old friends as we tried our hand at Beatle tunes in a friend’s home studio.

The one I can’t find, which I think is possibly their best, is “Take a Walk”, which has this incredible piano part in the studio version that’s lacking in any live version. You can hear a piece of it here, but only a piece. That part doesn’t even have the piano much.
