Bleg: Web Developer Needed to Help Families of Victims of Aurora Shooting

Filed under: General — Patterico @ 7:28 am

Anita Busch writes to say that the families of the victims of the Aurora shooting are looking to set up a web site. The help needed sounds urgent, and it appears they are looking to help victims who are still alive with severe injuries. Anyone who can help, please write me at patterico AT gmail DOT com.

  1. This is important, guys.

  2. There has been a simmering scandal regarding donations for the victims that have been funneled through groups that have turned out to be uninterested in actually providing assistance to victims. They are behaving in the usual manner of liberal nonprofits in lining their pockets. Gov Hickenlooper has been useless in addressing the problem naturally.

The victims and their families have had to self organize to address the fact that the orgs supposedly helping them wont.

  3. Is this outright fraud, or technically legal, like the Red Cross? (the Red Cross though, actually gave some money to the 9/11 victims, just not any extra because of extra donations)

  4. Thanks, Patrick. Yes, it is. Anyone who can help us, would be fantastic. Thank you so very much. The injuries are severe.

  5. Thank you so much everyone for your offers of help. God is with us, for certain. We are just trying to put one foot in front of the other.

The families of Aurora thank you profusely for your kindness.

The injuries are so horrible and we are fighting for those still alive and suffering along with us.

    XO
