“I’ve Got Videos,” Says Andrew Breitbart

Filed under: General — Patterico @ 5:04 pm

Of Barack Obama. From college.

Better refute his evidence physically attack him, then. He doesn’t have Secret Service protection, you know.

It’s the Fringe Leftist Way!

UPDATE: Entire speech here:

  1. That was like a Grand Kleagle monologue.

  2. Most racist thing I have seen this year.

  3. Show the video or get some kevlar.

  4. Cool speech. Watched it all. Andrew’s da man. “This is war…I don’t care who our candidate is. We should ask not what our candidate will do for us—we must ask what we can do for our candidate.” Amen.

  5. What does Brietbart have, and how long has he been sitting on it?
    Enquiring minds demand to know.

    BTW, a Question:
Now that Homeland Security is monitoring the internet for “anti-government talk”, would now be the time to resume signing as:
    “AD-Restore the Republic/Obama Sucks!”?

I’d hate to think that they’re just sitting there in front of their monitors twiddling their thumbs.

  6. I, too, watched the whole thing. Can’t wait to see the videos. G*d bless AB and stay safe my friend.

    Gazzer (df08d7)

  7. Important for the “not conservative enough” folks who want to stay home or vote 3rd party to remember. The goal is to get the current crew out of the Oval Office and on lucrative book or lecture tours.

    Brietbart’s mouth to voters’ ears.

  9. Video of Obama in college being Obama in college.

Apparently video he would not like us to see, or else we would have seen it to reassure us and show how he was not a radical.

I hope it is kept safe, that Breitbart is kept safe.

The main thing that worries me is how close Kerry came to being elected in spite of his “Winter Soldier” book, Dave Cavett interview, etc. Should not have been close.

Still, video of Obama being Obama 30 years ago.

  14. The idiocy, espoused in that Columbia Sundial piece, circa 1983, where he stated the ‘nuclear
freeze’ didn’t go far enough, should have been the first clue, then again, that received practically no attention, nor did his manifest failure at Altgeld Gardens, or his tenure at the CAC with Bill Ayers, in fact there was no actual achievement that one could really point to with Obama, the presidency
of the law review, with an unsigned note,

  19. Power springs from the lips of Andrew Breitbart.

    Colonel Haiku (a44b1d)

  20. Man I can’t wait to see these videos… Unfortunately, there were no camera phones back then, so we won’t be seeing him doing lines of blow off a white hookers boobies, but maybe someone video taped a lecture or something…

    The suspense is killing me.

    Ghost (c6b2f3)

  21. You are racist for even listening to Breitbart, and even moreso for wanting to see video of the objectively most accomplished academic ever to be President.

    JD (fda94d)

  22. Ghost… where ya been? Great news! I read that they’ve come up with a marijuana throat spray that gives the user all the medicinal/pain relief benefits without the psychoactive properties.

Pain relief without that nasty high! Isn’t that wonderful?

  23. Maybe the LA Times will release the footage of Teh Won and his bestie, Khalidi.

    JD (fda94d)

  24. I guess I’ll go ahead and start with the line of reasoning that is sure to be the mainstream media’s unified front should anything embarrassing to Obama come from these tapes:

“That’s old news, it took place nearly thirty years ago.”

“None of us would want our old college escapades to be rehashed three decades later.”

    and the ever popular:

“It’s all been taken out of context.”

  27. O’Keefe broke in and stole that video; therefore, it’s tainted and inauthentic.

Heavily edited and deceptive. Andrew wasn’t even wearing a pimp costume.

    Patterico (13e9ba)

  33. I’m hoping to see Obama burning a flag.

    Kevin M (563f77)

  34. Could be he was robbing a bank. He likes to steal money that is not his.

    sickofrinos (44de53)

  35. Mr. Breitbart needs to save money and be better protected from mayhem

    happyfeet (3c92a1)

  36. Breitbart has a bit of a martyr complex, I think. Part of him wants to goad the left into beating him down on camera.

I fear if Obama himself could be seen swinging the bat, the video would be denied and embargoed by the MSM.

That’s how far in the tank I think they are.

The main thing that worries me is how close Kerry came to being elected in spite of his “Winter Soldier” book, Dave Cavett interview, etc. Should not have been close.

In honor of those who’ve been pushing this society further and further to the left — because they’re such wonderful, compassionate, kind-hearted, beautiful, humane, generous, compassionate, wonderful, tolerant, beautiful, generous, kind-hearted, tolerant people — I hereby post the following, attributed to someone residing in the core of where modern Western liberalism has been running amok, that being Europe:

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting an inexperienced man like him with the Presidency.

It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama Presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their President.

The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince.

The Republic can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their President.”

    Mark (411533)

  38. One thing is for sure… there won’t be any film of him doing any of the mundane, everyday-life “rites of passage” type stuff that the American male does. Can you picture Barack painting a fence?… mowing a lawn?… raking leaves?… washing a car?

He has been pampered, coddled, praised over the course of his entire, preening life.

  40. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their President.”

That is as true as the day is long. And it’s not like the info that should have disqualified Obama wasn’t out there.

    Colonel Haiku (469872)

  41. Breitbart said he has video of Obama in college, which to me means something from when Obama attended Occidental or Columbia from 1979-1983.

We had home movie cameras when I was in college in the mid 1970’s but they were expensive, something few college students would have, and they weren’t easy to set up and use. It wasn’t until 1982 that Sony released the first professional camcorder, and Wiki indicates they weren’t available to consumers until 1983. My recollection is the first Sony BetaMax cost around $800-$1,200, depending on features, so it wasn’t something every student might have — unlike today’s ubiquitous cell phones that record video. By 1988 when Obama started law school, it would be something some Harvard Law students might have had.

Thus, this could have been a casual video from Obama’s Harvard Law days. But if it was from his college days, it seems to me it was probably taken in a more formal situation — such as at a meeting, school or community event, a wedding or private party, etc. — that someone would bother to record with a movie camera or early professional camcorder. Having said that, I didn’t live in California in the late 1970’s or in New York in the early 1980’s, but I assume it was common to use movie cameras in those places and at those times.

  42. it’s Dick Cavett, not Dave.
    – Thanks for the correction

Long ago and far away, I found that a Mr. Barack Obama was at a symposium (and I believe gave a talk) having something to do with South Chicago community organizing and Saul Alinsky, but could find nothing more regarding it on the web. I believe it was in the late 80’s.

Wouldn’t it be great if he was giving a talk at an INCAR* meeting or some such gathering of those preparing for the revolution???

*INCAR- INternational Committee Against Racism, a communist group that was commonly seen at Wisconsin, and I assume elsewhere, at the time

  43. Colonel,
It’s been a rough month. My mom passed away, and debating politics was always our thing. Mostly, I use tinctures and lotions that don’t get me high at all. Unfortunately, the Feds keep shutting down the people who provide those alternatives, so when I can’t get those, I smoke.

If they could make Percocet or Vicodin without that awful high, then I might be more receptive. But then big pharma wouldn’t have such a strangle hold on the industry.

    Ghost (6f9de7)

  44. I’m sorry to hear about your mother, Ghost. Thoughts and prayers are with you, keep your chin up.

    Colonel Haiku (469872)

  45. Thanks brother. It does warm my heart that even though she is gone, she’ll still be able to vote democrat for years to come…

  46. DRJ:
In the mid-80’s, here in SoCal, my brother was a teaching tennis-pro, and regularly videoed his students to analyze their swings and other errors – also used by golf pros at the time.
Also, remember that The-O ran in some pretty elevated circles, who generally are “early adopters”.

Exactly. And…as Pious Agnostic implied above, I do fear that even if the videos showed him doing something horrendous, the media would unite as one to bury it.

The man voted against the Born Alive Act, for Pete’s sake. Can’t get too much worse than stepping outside your usual slothful “Present” mode to make sure born infants are left alone in closets to die.

  50. And one protester insisting “But I’ve never raped anyone”. No, darling, but if you stick around this movement too long you may find yourself raped by one of your male comrades. If it happens just lie back and think of Rosa Luxemburg.

    Fatcow (84e26f)

  53. Obama? I don’t know, I think he’s just playing a role he and Bill Ayers cooked up back in his Columbia days. He’s odious, all right, but I don’t see any mental issues.
