A Less-Than-Noble Tell-All on Weiner

Filed under: General — Aaron Worthing @ 6:00 am

[Guest post by Aaron Worthing; if you have tips, please send them here.  Or by Twitter @AaronWorthing.]

Hey, guess what?  One of the women who were identified as one of ex-Congressman Weiner’s Tweetmates has come out with a tell all.  Now you, might say to yourself, “what possible value could there be in sharing with the entire world the intimate details of this relationship given that he is no longer a Congressman?

Well, the woman in question, Traci Nobles, tells us why she wrote it:

But mainly, I was motivated by my need for clarity. I wanted to provide clarification for the lies and untruths, both know and unknown.

For me personally, it is important to address how I was portrayed[.]

Well, we here at Patterico followed the scandal pretty closely, and bluntly, you were barely “portrayed” at all.  You were just a woman whose friend sent to the news a bunch of your chats with him and that was it.  But hey, you certainly have cleared up how I see you.  By writing this, by kicking the man when he was down, you have shown yourself to be a woman who engaged in cybersex with a married man and who then sold out what remained of her privacy by writing this book about a subject of absolutely no public interest (given that the man has resigned, after all).  You did this adding further strain to a marriage that is probably already in trouble, possibly creating a broken home for their child.  But then I am sure you are hoping for a fat paycheck, right?  So yes, we have a very clear picture of who you are, Ms. Nobles.  And it ain’t pretty.

Anyway, you can read the gory details here, if you are so inclined.  I would dare say it is not entirely safe for work but at the same time, it doesn’t say much that you didn’t already know.

  1. Get offended much Mr. Worthing?

  2. How dare he get offended.

  3. Seing as the Daily Mail, purveyed McGuinness’s trash, even after it’s slanderous nature was revealed. I’m not going to dignify them with a look, however, it does fit the character of the man

  5. OK, where to begin . . .

Oh yeah: the title of this slink’s “book” (actually an ebook) is “I Freinded You”. The former cheerleading coach — and future brain surgeon — fails to spell “friended” correctly. One imagines the world would be better served if she used her 5 seconds of fame counseling young women to seek professional help in dealing with their daddy issues.

  7. Aphrael – one should never pass on the opportunity to type the word Weinertweeter.

  8. Sorry, I can’t generate much outrage or disgust. Weiner put himself in this predicament with his reckless behavior.

That’s my point. At this point I don’t care about weiner but I was annoyed by noble’s classless behavior.

  10. Porn sells. This woman will be hitting the talk show circuit and make herself a nice living from this piece of trash. But what are the odds that Huma (a Democrat) will stand by her man?

    PatAZ (c65c00)

  11. I seriously question how much of “a nice living” this woman will make. First of all, the talk-show circuit itself doesn’t pay diddly; it’s for building awareness (read: advertising) for what the guest is selling — in this case, an e-book with the main word in the title (“Freinded”) misspelled. Secondly, beyond maybe appearing on a news show (like Piers Morgan) I doubt whether this woman will actually make the talk show circuit. Anybody think the libs on The View are clamoring to hear her story?

  12. This raises my unconcern for the details of the ex-Congressman’s depravity to a new level of non-activity.

What I have difficulty in keeping straight is which is the “World’s Oldest Profession”, and which is the “Second”:
    The Prostitute? (in this case, I would use another word);
    The Politician?

In either case, they seem to be inextricably linked through the ages, and forever.

  13. AD, allow me to clear your confusion. When it comes to New York politicians, Chuck Schumer is the media-whore; Anthony Weiner is the Twitter-whore, Michael Bloomberg is the flip-flop party-switching panderer-whore, and Hillary Clinton is the lie-about-her-past-whore.

    Icy (666709)

  14. Oh, thanks Icy.
I was so confused I actually thought they were politicians (but then, that might be a distinction without a difference).

Oh, but the women. Its not that there are so many, but so many of of them on exactly the same mercenary sexual mission. Take away the illusion that they have some special communion with their object and plan b is already in place.

  19. Where you been, Sarah? Good to see you.

I don’t really understand the point of the book. A young lady is caught in behavior that ranges from flirting with a married man to cybersex with a politician. She looks sleazy and wishes people knew that she actually has normal attributes other than the embarrassing thing we know her for.

    That’s a one page book.

It is actually the kind of thing that could be conveyed better on twitter!

I’m in complete agreement with Aaron W. and Sarah W. on this. This woman, who knew good and well that Weiner was not only married but newly married, acted as if she had laid some sort of special claim on him because they talked dirty to each other. Once it turned out that Weiner wasn’t particular and that there were many others, she got her horny little feelings hurt, and tattled to the press. Problem is, she had to tattle on herself in the process, incurring the wrath of everyone who was angered that Weiner was wasting taxpayer time and money [waxing] off to the likes of her. What to do, what to do? Hmmmm….perhaps money will make her feel better about being exposed as a hussy.

In the same spirit of Ms. Less-Than-Noble (but not as outrageous) is Sara Leal, the 22-year-old San Diego administrative assistant who sold out Ashton Kutcher, selling her story of her hot-tub three-way with the new Two and a Half Men star to Us Weekly. She recounted their pillow talk, saying that in the course of discussing other topics with Mr. Punk’d, she revealed that she’s a Lutheran originally from Texas. A surprised Kutcher, she says, said “Oh my gosh! Are you a Republican?” Apparently, the turning point for Ms. Leal was when Kutcher tenderly said that he was an actor 90% of the time, and moments like the one he shared with her were “real.” And then came the public denial of what Kutcher had told her to get her into the sack: That he and wife Demi Moore were “separated.” Combine her epiphany that she was in the 90 percentile, having her gussied-up self gracing every newsstand in the civilized world, and the potential of getting paid like Ashley Dupre while (technically) not being branded a prostitute, and you get this.

Cyndi Lauper said it well when she sang “Money Changes Everything,” but even more fitting is what Fats Waller sang 70 years ago: “Get Some Cash For Your Trash.”

  24. That’s my point. At this point I don’t care about weiner but I was annoyed by noble’s classless behavior.

Classless? “Teh Weinis” set the bar pretty low for classlessness. Didn’t he blame Breitbart for hacking his twitter account? He rufused to accept responsibility for his own actions until it was obvious from his other dick pics that he was actively involved in schwantz photo tweeting. He deserves everything he gets, period!

  25. Off d@mn sock!

  26. Didn’t he blame Breitbart for hacking his twitter account?

Yes. And some who thought this was true, or at least said it was true, actually were willing to retaliate.

This country needs a better class of leader who won’t put innocent people in harm’s way to excuse their mistakes.

It is, when you consider that she wasn’t so devout a Lutheran that she wouldn’t say no to a three-way with a celebrity.

Hey lowlife skanks need money, just like everyone else.

  31. Isn’t it amazing how Aaron and his commenters feel superior to almost anyone in the news? Isn’t it amazing how they get to condemn a book and the author when no ones read the work? Isn’t it amazing how this website promotes sock-puppetry? Isn’t it amazing how angry the reaction gets when a commenter goes against the mob’s opinion?

  36. Sure, a married man having cybersex with several different women — none of them his wife — is the epitome of tastefulness!

  37. It really is spelled wrong. The book’s Facebook page website said it is on purpose:

    I Freinded You
    Book

    2 mutual friends

    Basic Information

    Release Date

Due to the overwhelming requests for pre-orders, we have had word from at least 4 major publishers interested in taking the book to a wider release, therefore, the release date will be delayed as these details are finalized.
    Genre
    Adult Memoir
    Description

    – The mysterious spelling of Freind….was no accident. The significance, which is seemingly obvious to some, will be explained in the book. “I Freinded You” has already been characterized as a “tell all”. This label has unfortunately been given prematurely, before anyone has had a chance to read it. As has been widely reported, the book contains provocative, adult conversations which are more or …less side notes to accompany the satirical take on an eight month liaison between a congressman and a fan. In addition, there are revelations (surprising even to the author) that have never been discussed, along with a few very big surprises.

…..One key motivator was my receiving a message from Weiner, immediately following his painfully long “admission/apology” press conference. I couldn’t help but question his sincerity and/or his regret. I also couldn’t help but to ask the question, “what about me”? The truth is simply this, there was and still is another truth to this story. The picture portrayed was painted with a broad brush, a broad one-sided brush. It was different, and much more complex than what it “appeared” to be. I wanted to get my truth out, in my own way, which usually involves lots of profanity and sarcasm….

    —————-

The only thing we learn is that Weiner was playing around a lot with avatars, which we already a knew a little bit if you looked through his Twitter messages..

At one point he substituted on Yahoo a picture of his toddler niece, claiming he didn’t want members of his staff to associate him with the Yahoo ID ‘rockoh77’ She didn’t like it that they were having these conversations with that staring at her.

At another point – it’s not clear what she is saying – he posted (?) a picture similar or identical to the one that upended his career, telling her it was his avatar for her (sent it to her telling her she should use it? Or used it for one account telling her she was the only recipient? I am not sure what that means.)

Quickly, however, she says, he changed it back to one of his face in a mirror.

She seems to have saved or screencapped some of the exchanges between them including some with the toddler avatar.
