In my last real Stengel-gate post, I asked why on Earth Richard Stengel was presented to the world as an expert on the Constitution given that he was clearly clueless on the subject and I promised that I would be writing to NPR’s Ombudsman about this.  Well, I have written that letter and I quote it to you below the fold.

Which is my backwards way of pointing out that I have successfully cross-posted at both Big Journalism and Big Government borrowing significantly from this post at Patterico’s (in other words, if anything I am ripping myself off).  This site sells official Right Wing Conspiracy membership cards:

I think I need to buy one now, and keep it in my wallet near my driver’s license and bar memberships cards.

Of course if you read Patterico’s Pontifications on a regular basis, you would get to see these posts at least a day earlier, hint, hint…
