2. Obama is going to be a pretty hard nut to crack in 2012, so as a reinforcement strategy it’s a good idea to start making strong, solid, harsh cases against his familiars: folks like Holder, Jarrett, Kagan, Sotomayor etc. The extra, well-documented pressure on “the company he keeps” will be needed for the swing vote.

3. If consorting with an admitted domestic terrorist wasn’t enough to sink his hopes the first time, I doubt that hanging craven political hacks around his neck will do any good.
