Pakistan Will Release Bin Laden Hunter

The Colorado man who was detained in Pakistan trying to hunt down Osama Bin Laden will be released and allowed to return to the U.S. His brother says he wasn’t crazy to travel to Pakistan to try to kill Bin Laden.

Call me crazy but I think there is a competency issue here.

  1. he’s done a tad more than me to right the big wrongs of our day

  2. He should stay there and find himself a nice Pakistani girl and raise goats. I think that’s why the Pakistanis are letting him go — he’s no wilder than most of their compatriots. 😉

  3. I’ve wondered what I’d do with myself if I knew I was dying.

I would like to think I would do something like this. There are horrible people out there and it’s good that some common men are willing to stand up against them.

It’s not like he made Pakistan a worse place. OBL’s dead and buried, though.

  4. “If he wore a uniform and called himself special ops, would he be crazy?”

    Pretty much.

  5. I never type LOL, but this is definitely LOL. 🙂

If I wore a cape and called myself a superhero, would I be crazy? I actually know a woman in her mid 30s who carries a stuffed animal and believes that she is a superhero. Even SHE knows she’s crazy!

Last year she told me about some nutcase she met on the street, and she finished by saying, “I know that’s not right, and I’M the one who carries a teddy bear!”
