Houston Man Indicted On Terror Charges (Updated)

A Houston man has been charged with trying to provide aid to al Qaeda. The details are sketchy and these are only charges, not proof. But in general, doesn’t it seem like there could be a lot of people like Barry Walter Bujol?

UPDATE 6/4/2010: Guess who was in contact with Anwar Al-Awlaki? Barry Walter Bujol.

The only good thing about al-Awlaki is that (hopefully) the government knows to investigate everyone he talks to.

  1. Our esteemed guest hostess asked:

But in general, doesn’t it seem like there could be a lot of people like this?

Well, since Mr Bujol was apparently 11 different people all by himself, then yeah, it does. 🙂

  4. My daughter, who works for an unnamed government agency usually know by three letters, says her organization is very worried about recruitment in prison.

On the other hand, I recently read that most recruitment in prison is to the Black Muslim variety which is not on good terms with the jihadis.

I’m worried about almost everything so I guess it doesn’t matter.

Yes he has – and he holds an eery resemblance to Ellie Light!

  7. I updated the post with a report that the suspect was in contact with Anwar al-Awlaki. I hope this suspect spent more time deciding on his new name than he did on any terror plans.
