Michael Walsh of BigJournalism has 10 questions for author Andy McCarthy regarding his new book, The Grand Jihad. Here’s the first question:

“Q. Why did you write this book? Surely, you’re overstating the threat to the American way of life from radical Islam.”

  1. I heard radio two interviews with Andy McCarthy. This is a book that I must get.

FYI: The San Jose Mercury News distorted the findings of the latest California election poll, erroneously claming that Carly Fiorina has no chance to defeat Barbara Boxer. I posted in The Jury Talks Back.

  2. Surely every act of terrorism perpetrated by radical Islam up to this point is everything that they’re ever going to do . . .

  3. The people I meet and talk to are far less willing to accept the Muslim version of the world than the “elites.” The problem, which we’ve seen in England already, is that the common citizen can be prosecuted for saying anything that conflicts with the Islamist version of the story. This is already going on in Canada. Here is where we have to draw a line. That judge in Minnesota is part of the problem.
