  1. What a creep. They’ll say anything to avoid the arguments and constructive ideas. Ugly, mean, nasty, and obvious attempts to destroy people’s reputations just for disagreeing.

The apple doesn’t fall far, but in this case it certainly fell down. I forgot about the evil family attacks

  2. So true: like father, like son.

    Old Coot (ddf8be)

  3. I honestly had no idea who this Poncey Scumbag was until I saw a clip of him on the Scarborough show on MSNBC, ranting (aka promoting) his wish – fulfillment lastest tripe/book about how the evil Fundies were tearing apart the GOP. Great prediction there, Maxine! And his father? No surprise on that score.

    Dmac (799abd)

  4. I love that he attacks the Palin *children* and the basis of values. I grant that they do not appear to share Max’s values.

    Dustin (b54cdc)

  5. I’m wondering why it’s relevant that Ann Coulter has had three broken engagements without being married. Isn’t it a sign of wisdom to call of a bad relationship before one weds?

    Some chump (050674)

  6. “Can you tell us why you’ve had 3 engagements that went sour and you’ve never been married?”

Like that question has any value other than hate. I guess having multiple divorces is better than choosing not to enter a marriage that isn’t going to work out. Nice morals there, bub. Get back to us when you’re old enough to shave.

  7. Well Papa Blumenthal got his start hanging around with Kennedy assasination conspiracists, and even co edited an article with KGB collaborator Agee, for the collection Government by GunPlay, he was also the one who spread that Youtube clip of Reverend Muthee without context, shortly after Sarah was selected, delivering an injunction against ill will,
it’s ironic how appropriate that turned out to be

    ian cormac (9575ac)

  8. Obama sure has some interesting associates.

    Mike K (2cf494)

  9. O’Keefe’s pal Marcus Epstein is a racist with an assault charge.
    Breitbart defends Taylor.
    The pimp outfit etc.

Blumenthal tries to hard to be polite. Here too.

These are your people in this video I guess.
    Racists pure and simple.

  10. ^you appear to be suffering from some type of undisclosed medical malady – I suggest you look into it before you post again, or at least breathe deeply into a paper bag for about 10 minutes.

    Dmac (799abd)

  11. O’Keefe’s pal Marcus Epstein is a racist with an assault charge.

Obama’s pal Ayers is an unrepentant terrorist.

    What’s your point?

    Some chump (050674)

  12. I won’t click on the Epstein link. I already know that Blumenthal will lie about people being racist in an attempt to destroy their reputation. That’s proven in the post above. If Epstein is a racist, then he should have saved his powder and not attacked innocent people, too.

when a democrat attacks someone as racist, that usually means they have no arguments. O’Keefe’s a great example. You can’t refute his stories, so just lie about him until his reputation is destroyed. Breitbart too.

“these are your people. Racist pure and simple.” Right. Whatever.

    Dustin (b54cdc)

  13. That’s gonna leave a mark.

    mcg (5cf983)

  14. How can you tell liberal sockpuppets are lying? They show up with a new name and shout racist.

    PCD (1d8b6d)

  15. What ever will the liberal weenies call us once the whole racist thing goes away? That whole epithet is over used, it’s quickly losing it’s power.

  16. when a democrat attacks someone as racist, that usually means they have no arguments.

Recall, if you will, the old joke: What’s the definition of a bigot? Someone who is winning an argument with a liberal.

  17. YouTube is blocked at my workplace. Is there a transcript?

    L.N. Smithee (0931d2)

  18. That would be a very long transcript, being an eight-minute video. I doubt a transcript of this video exists publicly.

    Comment by Vivian Louise — 2/23/2010 @ 9:09 am

The practitioners of dubious charges of racism won’t let that happen.

Accusations of racism — like all forms of political correctness — are a weapon for the exclusive use of liberals. As Sarah Palin is finding out, there are always amorphous reasons why PC rules are not supposed to be enforced by the right-of-center.

Here’s an example of what I mean: It wasn’t too long ago that an accusation that an actor/actress was a homosexua/lesbian, it would damage his/her career, if not end it (e.g., Rock Hudson, who NEVER admitted he was a homosexual even as he was dying of AIDS). Now, it’s not only not a big deal, many volunteer that they are before people ask. Still, even if it’s an open secret, you are the bad guy if you bring it up.

Exhibit A: Adam Lambert. Nearly three decades after the heyday of Boy George, people who watched Lambert swish it up on American Idol and didn’t perceive he is a flamboyant gay dude were either too innocent to recognize the signs or in denial. But heaven help you if you “accused” him of being gay before he told you he was.

    L.N. Smithee (0931d2)

  20. Did Sidney spawn any other little Blumenthals we also need to keep on our radar? Looks like Maxie is out strivin’ for some daddy attention. Look at me! Look over here at meeeeee!!!!!Pathetic.

    elissa (1e62eb)

  21. (Part 2 of my last comment, which I didn’t mean to submit at that point)

OTOH, an entire movie (Outrage) was released last year accusing (mostly) GOP politicians of being gay (notably Mark Foley, Larry Craig, Charlie Crist). Fury from the left for “outing” people? Of course not — they’re “fair game” because of their “anti-gay” political positions, and thus, using lefty logic, their private lives aren’t really private.

    L.N. Smithee (0931d2)

  22. And over at the WI, Weigel is making something of the fact that O’Keefe and Basel were hanging around
    last November in N. Orleans.

    ian cormac (9575ac)

  23. Your defenses of the racists and denial of your own racisms is proof of your racism. That is all.

    JD (62f55e)

  24. The manzanar bit was good.

    imdw (688568)

  25. I bet Max’s work is right up your alley, imdw. I wonder if he’s accused Rush of being an anti-semite or Palin of being a successful woman (which is apparently a pejorative on the left).

    Dustin (b54cdc)

  26. Your defenses of the racists and denial of your own racisms is proof of your racism. That is all.

    Comment by JD — 2/23/2010 @ 11:00 am

That is, without a doubt, a very stupid comment. Sounds like someone who doesn’t want to debate, or knows the meannig of the words he/she uses.

The term racist is without meaning anymore. Now please call me a racist.

    fgmorley (324ca0)

  27. fgmorley, JD always makes sarcastic denunciations of supposed racists. He’s saying it’s absurd to call folks racist.

And he does this because he is a racist, and I denounce him for this.

    Dustin (b54cdc)

  28. Max Blumenthal is the political equivalent of Perez Hilton, imo.

    Dagwood (745e24)

  29. Fgmorley is a racisty racist.

VL accurately described on of my goals above. Wise wise womyn, she is 😉

    JD (a5a87b)

  30. Comparing Max with Perez is demeaning to Hilton, POS that he is.

    AD - RtR/OS! (af3002)

  31. What’s amazing is that Perez’s argument actually did make more sense than Max’s. O’Keefe was supporting tolerance in the face of actual racism. That pageant lady (and Obama) actually did hold the views Perez was condemning as unacceptable. O’Keefe was the opposite of what Max claimed.

    Dustin (b54cdc)

  32. Max Blumenthal is the political equivalent of Perez Hilton, imo.

But what does that make our own little imadouchebag? Walter Winchell?

    Dmac (799abd)

  33. Of all the apologists for Clinton’s fabrications in the ’90s, Max’s dad was the most vile. Compared to Sid the Vicious, Carville, Begala, Davis and Rahm were shrinking violets lightweights.

I think Max’s goal in life to be an even bigger POS than his dad. Congratulations Max, you are well on your way to such a dubious honor.

    MU789 (fe58f9)

  34. No, he’s the hole in Winchell’s do-nut!

    Thank you, massah!

    fgmorley (324ca0)

  36. “fgmorley, JD always makes sarcastic denunciations of supposed racists”

Always. Each time funnier than the last.

  37. “I bet Max’s work is right up your alley, imdw. I wonder if he’s accused Rush of being an anti-semite or Palin of being a successful woman (which is apparently a pejorative on the left).”

I’d be more interested in whether folks call Max a “self-hating jew.” I’m always amused by gentiles tossing that term around.

    imdw (4fe3dc)

  38. Apple tree.

This is why I actually wish certain people ill.

    Alluh Akbar.

    HeavenSent (c3c032)

  39. I’d be more interested in whether folks call Max a “self-hating jew.”

No, I’m pretty sure that Max is a gentile-hating Jew.

    Subotai (7236b0)

  40. oooo, imdw thinks he’s clever for stereotyping races and pretending Max is a victim.

If you’re trying to make liberals look terrible, you’re doing a good job. Seriously, I suspect you’re just a nutty right winger who is pretending to be a liberal sometimes. You avoid the good arguments to make the weakest and most offensive ones.

    Dustin (b54cdc)

  41. “No, I’m pretty sure that Max is a gentile-hating Jew.”

Yeah THAT explains his beef with O’keefe.

    imdw (2c1194)

  42. So imdw,

I’d be more interested in whether folks call Max a “self-hating jew.” I’m always amused by gentiles tossing that term around.

    Comment by imdw — 2/23/2010 @ 1:45 pm

Given 38 comments and you are the only one tossing “self-hating jew” around this thread/post–we need to know your religious affiliation and heritage to know if you are amusing yourself or self-hating.

Max Blumenthal is Jewish? I had no idea.

    I prefer “self-amusing”

    imdw (33ae78)

  46. Yeah THAT explains his beef with O’keefe.

    And yours.

    Subotai (7236b0)

  47. I also had no idea Max was Jewish. I also don’t care. It means nothing. Doesn’t even tell me if he likes bacon. Everything I need to know about Max is already summed up in that youtube at the top. He’s a really nasty person.

but if you’re a democrat, you probably want to know all about what race everyone is, and the race of anyone they are dealing with, so as to determine how they should act and who has the best … race? I dunno… I barely understand democrats anymore.

    Dustin (b54cdc)

  48. I prefer “self-ambusing”

    TFTFY!

  49. Max Blumenthal is light-skinned without a black American dialect. What’s the problem?

    nk (db4a41)

  50. If you keep self-amusing yourself, you’ll get warts on your hand.

    Subotai (7236b0)

  51. Is O’Keefe Jewish? I really don’t have any idea what imdw is talking about. He really thinks it matters if someone is a gentile or a jew, though. Probably trying to goad someone into saying something he can claim is racist.

Either that or he’s trying to emulate Carter to make liberals look like racists.

    Dustin (b54cdc)

  52. “And yours.”

Subotai, you continue to fascinate me.

    imdw (78ece3)

  53. You also think that Obama and Holder are “fascinating figures”, so maybe you mean that as a complement.

I’m not that fascinating though. We understand each other too well to fascinate each other.

    Subotai (7236b0)

  54. If you keep self-amusing yourself, you’ll get warts on your hand.

Given the frequency and content of his posts here, he should go blind within the hour.

  55. Dmac – I’d say imdw needs a tax cut to pay for its jergens supply, but I doubt it pays taxes.

    daleyrocks (718861)

  56. imdw – What’s the multiplier effect on jergens lotion expenditures? You should know by now.

    daleyrocks (718861)

  57. Booger? Or bugger?

  58. “imdw… you’re soaking in it”.

  59. Booger? Or bugger?

    I’m glad you asked.

    Booger.

    Patterico (c218bd)

  60. While Max was getting bitch slapped by Breitbart at CPAC, he must have been thinking back to the school yard…probably not very pleasant days for the puss. Breitbart has fighting eyes and Max’s eyeballs would divert, a trained survival tactic of the coward.

    PC14 (82e46c)

  61. The reason I say “booger” and not “bugger” is, I watched Andrew Breitbart on Redeye last night.

    Well, that’s one reason, anyway.

    Patterico (c218bd)

  62. I watched Redeye last night, too. Where’s that video?

    DRJ (6a8003)

  63. They had Teaboogers on Redeye?

    daleyrocks (718861)

  64. Breitbart was on and jokingly (I think) said he has a video of Blumenthal picking his nose, hence the booger reference.

    DRJ (6a8003)

  65. DRJ – Now we’ve had baggers, buggers, and boogers, so it’s all good.

    daleyrocks (718861)

  66. Breitbart was on and jokingly (I think) said he has a video of Blumenthal picking his nose, hence the booger reference.

I don’t think he was joking.

    Patterico (c218bd)

  67. I didn’t think he was joking at the time but it’s been almost 24 hours and now I’m not so sure.

    DRJ (6a8003)

  68. Redeye comes on late . . .

    Patterico (c218bd)

  69. But I don’t think he was joking.

    Patterico (c218bd)

  70. Hey ! Isn’t making jokes about Max Blumenthal’s nose being anti-semitic ?

OK, folks, line up here to denounce yourselves !

  71. The reason I say “booger” and not “bugger” is, I watched Andrew Breitbart on Redeye last night.

We’re you holding his clubs or just a water bottle? Were you able to get backstage?

    timb (449046)

  72. “I’m wondering why it’s relevant that Ann Coulter has had three broken engagements without being married.”

What’s relevant is that such a comment makes Blumenthal a fair target for any and all comments on his private life. By engaging in Alinskyite smears, Max eliminates all ethical objections to even the most vicious smear campaign against him.

    pst314 (672ba2)

  73. Timb translated: “I have no defense for Blumenthal, so I’m going to make a meaningless attack on Patterico.”
