Maureen Dowd’s latest column, about the Conan/Leno flap, is titled: “The Biggest Loser.” But in their list of most popular items, it appears that the real “biggest loser” may be . . . Maureen Dowd:

Did all of the Trolls hear that dog – whistle yet? We already have Mawy on board, and since she’s a big, grown – up girl now, maybe she’ll ask her bestest fwiend in the whole world (and serial MoDo plagiarizer) Moron to come bail her out, now that she’s soiled herself…again. We really all wish that Mawy didn’t keep running out of her Huggies all the time.

well, let’s not confuse that list with popularity. the best explanation is that it is most often emailed by people who don’t know how to cut and paste a link into a regular email. in other words, computer illiterates.

It’s even funnier that it is bracketed above by: “The Americanization of Mental Illness” and below with: “The 31 places to go in 2010”

A slight detour from the thrust of the post: Notice Thomas Friedman’s column title, “Is China the Next Enron.” Gee, do you think Tommy is moving away from his earlier approval of how China’s soft totalitarianism “moves a society forward” where the Democratic process fails? I would read his column to find out what he has to say, but that would be three minutes of my life that I would never get back.
