At Least Dick Cheney Never Really Showed Up as Darth Vader

Tonight the White House hosted what looks like a fun Halloween party for 2,000 area schoolchildren. The First Lady dressed as Catwoman and it looks like the President went as “the President”. At a separate reception for children of military and White House staff families, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice appeared in her Halloween costume. [Edit: In case you don’t have time to click the link, she went as Goofy.]
Meanwhile, outside, Code Pink showed up to “taunt local school children with chants about the war in Afghanistan.”

PS — I doubt he was paying tribute to Dick Cheney but Obama Press Secretary Robert Gibbs did show up as Darth Vader.
Susan Rice appeared in her Joe Biden costume.

Code Pink is a leftist, anti-war organization. The Democratic Party is a leftist, anti-war organization.
The House of Representatives, The United States Senate and the Executive Branch of the federal government are controlled by the Democratic Party. And, they will control the Judicial Branch as soon as someone dies or retires.
So, Code Pink is making a big point of frightening little children in an attempt to stigmatize the power that they, I dunno, support?
I know the left likes to make fun of conservatives. That’s fair. I don’t have a problem with it. But our goals are pretty simple: less government, lower taxes and a strong defense.
To be a Democrat, though, you need a rule book bigger than Pelosi’s health-care bill to see which way the wind is blowing without getting whiplash.
