    1. Hello thar, Nebraska. Ouch.

    2. Arkansas and Florida are tied at 20 in the 4th.

      DRJ (f462b4)

    3. Florida pulled it out 23-20 in a GREAT game.

    4. YES – Longhorns pulled it off against Oklahoma.

      Leviticus (30ac20)

    5. The Red Raiders stomped the Cornhuskers 31-10 up in Lincoln. I love it!

      Mike LaRoche (445f08)

    6. EPIC game in South Bend.
I still do not like Florida.

    7. OU and TX was a battle.

      JD (e738c0)

    8. I switched back and forth between the SC game and the Florida game toward the end. Notre Dame hung in there although they got a lot of gifts from SC. Barkley gets better every game. NBC has the stupidest female sideline commenter I’ve ever seen. Most of them are obvious eye candy but she is the dumbest. Maybe she know Olberman well, very well.

      MIke K (2cf494)

    9. Mike K, quit getting Biblical. 😛

      John Hitchcock (3fd153)

    10. Florida losing to an unranked is going to have an impact on things. I bet Leviticus’s Horns are going to be a major beneficiary.

I wonder how much the Rush drama has helped NCAA ratings. People around me definitely are more into NCAA than they were a week ago.

      Dustin (bb61e3)

    11. Georgia Tech is beating Virginia Tech so that could shake up the top 10. As for the top 5, Florida and Texas both seemed off to me and the Texas offense has never really shown up. Even though I don’t think it will happen, I would move Alabama up if they play well tonight.

      DRJ (f462b4)

    12. ‘Bama up 10-0 early, but their QB has thrown picks on 2 of his first 5 throws. My Illini suck, we are losing to IU, which is worse than losing to an NAIA team.

      JD (9ec807)

    13. Julio Jones from Alabama is one of the most exciting WR’s in the country. If Ingram is hurt, they are going to have to lean on him.

      JD (9ec807)

    14. Did the Alabama quarterback get hurt? Both quarterbacks in the OU-UT game got hurt early. I sense a pattern.

      DRJ (f462b4)

    15. Delaware St managed to add 2 losses to their record today. They got slaughtered by MI, and had to forfeit another as their AD accidentally double-booked this date.

      JD (6f7c10)

    16. That should be a record in itself.

      DRJ (f462b4)

    17. DRJ – If by hurt, you count mentally, then yes. Physically, he is fine.

Big upset by Georgia Tech. If they had not collapsed of their own doing against Miami, they would be unbeaten.

      JD (6f7c10)

    18. I don’t think the Delaware St double-scheduling was an accident. They did it for the money, although they may have thought they could reschedule the league game.

      DRJ (f462b4)

    19. So which team do you think has the most exciting offense this year? I like Texas Tech and TCU but who else is there?

      DRJ (f462b4)

    20. Texas Tech. I like Georgia Tech’s option, but when it gets shut down. It is painful to watch. I like the aggressive nature of USC, but moreso when they had Sarkisian. Missouri and Kansas toss it all over the field, but are not at nearly the same level.

      JD (e4e95a)

    21. Kansas’ coach is the most giantest person in sports. He makes Weis look svelte.

      JD (e4e95a)

    22. I’m not prejudiced when it comes to size but it’s painful to look at him.

      DRJ (f462b4)

    23. If you were to describe him as morbidly obese, it would be the understatement of the century.

      JD (e4e95a)

    24. Hey, JD, since it’s pretty much just us on this thread, scroll down for a cute KU Coach look-alike photo.

      DRJ (f462b4)

    25. My Illini just lost to an average high school team.

Mangino must eat deep-fried lard, wrapped in bacon, covered in hollandaise sauce for his 2 AM meal. Then, he flooses his teeth with Twizzlers.

      JD (e4e95a)

    26. I feel your pain, JD. Well, not really, but I know people who feel your pain.

      DRJ (f462b4)

    27. That baby was a riot, DRJ. Thank you.

Getting blown-out by IU has to be the low point of our football history.

      JD (e4e95a)

    28. Red Grange and Dick Butkus weap …

      JD (b033b3)

    29. Well, at least my neighbor (TX-Tech) will be in a good mood this week.

      AD - RtR/OS! (bb3066)

    30. Alabama is not moving up.

Kansas lost a wild one. Their little QB has a whole boat-load of heart.

      JD (b033b3)

    31. The University of Kentucky Wildcats beat the Auburn Tigers 21-14. That’s the only game which mattered.

The Dana who was graduated from UK (474dfc)

    32. Did you see that Alabama vaulted past Florida for the top spot in this week’s AP Poll? Not that it really matters, since the two teams are headed for a showdown in the SEC Championship game.

It would be interesting to see the BCS Standings. I wonder if a one-loss USC team would be able to hold off undefeated Iowa, Cincinnati, TCU, and Boise State and sneak into the BCS title game against Florida/Alabama, assuming someone beats Texas along the way.

      JVW (d1215a)

    33. I wonder when the officials will start calling the blatant holding on Florida’s offensive line. I only watched a little near the end of the game and it was really blatant. I know there is holding on every play but this was over the top.

      Roux (c5146d)

    34. And in the best news of the week: the Oakland Raiders beat the Philadelphia Eagles 13-9!
