Six-month old baby survives a fall from the platform under a moving train:

“The incident came just a day after the launch of a public awareness campaign warning of the dangers of prams on platforms.”

I think they have a new PSA video for their campaign.

  7. Wonderful outcome to a really gut-wrenching accident. I hope this doesn’t use up the childs’ allotment of luck for life.

  8. Are we to understand that those platforms are angled downward, toward the railway track bed?

  9. […]those platforms are angled downward[…]

No, I think the news reader commentary mentioned high winds as the cause.

  10. I thought this might be real until I saw the time go from like 3:57 minutes to 4 minutes when the ‘accident’ occurred, and then the added mention that a Pram Safety campaign had just started. How convenient. This after the Colorado UFO kid scam.
The woman (mother?) is just watching with her hands on her hips as the carriage starts moving to the track edge? Then she doesn’t run to the train conductor at the front screaming, but just bends down? It doesn’t seem real to me. But thank God I was never in that position.
