I didn’t want you guys to miss out on this:

I am reminded of this:

63 Responses to “Ed Schultz Freaks Out”

  1. Who is Ed Schultz? Never heard of him until now.

    John Hitchcock (3fd153)

  2. Actually, Ed, it’s more like you guys want to take my 89-year-old mom’s medicare advantage plan away from her.

    Kevin Murphy (3c3db0)

  3. And, for cluelessness, it reminds me more of this

    Kevin Murphy (3c3db0)

  4. Aha! The true identity of some of our more deranged trolls is at last revealed!

    Eric Blair (184ac1)

  5. Oh, and I mean the video, not Mr. Murphy or Mr. Hitchcock.

    Eric Blair (184ac1)

  6. “Desperation is a stinky cologne.”

    Glen Wishard (02562c)

  7. EB, are you suggesting Ed Schultz is “Cough violently until you regurgitate”? I still don’t know who this Ed Schultz is, having just today seen him.

    John Hitchcock (3fd153)

  8. A nobody, saying nothing.

    He’s Dem. …right?

    Steve Martin (9d1bb3)

  9. “Who is Ed Schultz? Never heard of him until now.”

    Lefty talk show host. Which is why just about no one has ever heard of him.

    He was actually a Republican until about ten years back, but he couldn’t make any dough at it, so he switched ideological horses and reinvented himself as a lefty.

    He’s a total phony. Kinda like Arianna Huffington, only he’s prettier than she is.

    Dave Surls (84e227)

  10. If he doesn’t stop eating he’ll be Sergeant Shultz.

    And yes, he knows nothing.

    Apogee (e2dc9b)

  11. I like SGT Schultz. Streudel and I can get a free pass to the Bierhall.

    John Hitchcock (3fd153)

  12. Whatever. I’m back from dining off the belly of a sacrificial virgin. Heading to the local ICU to mock dying old people. Anyone want to tag along?

    Fen (b1f3a8)

  13. Unless it’s Glenn Beck kooking, no one will notice

  14. […] I tweeted about this, and Oliver Willis popped in to say that it was a good thing if “rightie nuts” didn’t kill the man, but that it was inevitable that there would be a “another.” A next time? Meanwhile, nary a peep about the insanity at the UN yesterday, Obama’s donation of $400k to the charities of Qaddafi’s children, the lunatic who floated the idea that Swine Flu was designed as a biological weapon (much like AIDS to Reverend Wright–and of course Obama didn’t walk out this time, either), who inveighed against the evils of capitalism, whilst demanding investigations into MLK and JFK, among others. Some diplomats did walk out on Ahmadinejad, thankfully, but as Netanyahu railed today, WTF were they doing giving that anti-Semitic ass and holocaust denier a forum, anyway? The mainstreaming of crazy isn’t taking place just in the Obama administration, obviously. I fist you not. And if some left-wing loon kills a Humana exec, you can be sure that Oliver will be all over Ed Schultz. […]

  15. It’s too bad your screen cap doesn’t have homosocialist welfare queen Jeffy Immelt’s MSNBC logo there. He so bad owns this.

    happyfeet (6b707a)

  16. sadly, I can only listen to the capone clip – nothing else appears from this blog. Or, perhaps I am being obtuse? maybe the Ed Shultz freak out is disguised as a large, white blob on the screen.

    @#$%, that probably makes me a racist. [dang cyber-blocker my company has installed]

  17. If it were a pure capitalist system, Ed Schultz would be off the air unless George Soro footed his broadcast bill.

  18. Did anyone see this? I was over at Townhall and there’s an ad for Glen Beck’s new book “Arguing with Idiots”.
    Glen is dressed in a sort of Wafin SS uniform on the cover.
    WTF?

    There’s a letter to the editor in the SacBee today where the guy is making a case that Glen Beck “told his listeners” to resist being counted by census takers, “by any means necessary”.
    I don’t believe it for a minute.
    But
    When the donks have parleyed the politics of personal destruction into a majority in the offices of power for years, using ammo as thin as and thinner then the old “he’s a nazi”, would it be too much trouble for a high profile guy like Glen not to shoot us in the foot?

    papertiger (4d1249)

  19. You are all racists for mocking this patriotic American.

    JD (66b439)

  20. I think Glen Beck has discussed what limited information is legally required to be given, and how to ignore everything else. I think (not sure) if it’s a general “why would I give any more info than necessary to people who are asking neighbors to snoop and rat on each other if they are not “for the Party”, especially if they plan/prefer/are willing to use criminals like ACORN to do the interrogating, I mean questioning.

    (How is it again that one can make the “strike through” work?)

    JD (66b439)

  22. Like this strike/oh, bother, just testing/strike JD?

    Thanks

    MD in Philly (d4f9fa)

  23. Well, I guess that wasn’t quite it.

    MD in Philly (d4f9fa)

  24. Glen Beck is a racist riot. My wife leaves the room (sometimes the house) when I turn on his program. He doesn’t represent me. But I do agree with much of what he says.

    He’s a political entertainer with crazy, zany connect-the-dot diagrams, intrigue, and a high dose of sarcasm. What’s not to like!?!

    Corwin (ea9428)

  25. @#$%, my strikeout of “racist” didn’t work. Oh, bother, too.

    Corwin (ea9428)

  26. I completely agree that Beck is not the person you want to try to present an apologetic to those who disagree.

    While he is an entertainer, and he knows it, I think he is committed to the idea that the content of what he says needs to be true.

    No matter how zany some of his stuff is, he talked about the problem in the sub-prime mortgage industry and what it meant to the economy as a whole more than a year before it all hit the fan. And, he was quick not to take any credit for it himself, but to credit some of his (unnamed) go-to sources.

  29. JD, I wasn’t implying your instructions didn’t work, just that my understanding of how to apply them wasn’t completely on track.

    The med school motto is, “See one, do one teach one”.

    Let me try this, strike JD is just showing off strike inside the.

  33. MD – I am an html ‘tard. Big time. I could not do a proper link to save my life, without EW1’s help, and even with his help, I only get it right about 1 out of every 5 times.

    insert words to be struck out

    Jim and Myron are honest

    JD (66b439)

  34. Here’s the thing MD, when you press the strike button a couple sets of sideways carots pop up with either an “s” or a “/s” in the middle.
    To get the thing to work you have to spell out the full word “strike” or “/strike” instead of leaving it just an “s” or “/s”.

    Kapeesh?

  42. well how ’bout that … the sideways carot thingies showed up in the live preview but disappeared in the post. must be a racial issue

    quasimodo (4af144)

  43. Glenn Beck appears to be wearing a vintage East German secret police uniform. They were known as STASI (acronym of “Staats Sichenheit,” which means state security).

    The important thing is, the uniform drew your attention to the cover of his book. That, plus the fact that Glenn Beck is running this country!

    Official Internet Data Office (8dc002)

  44. The important thing is… …the fact that Glenn Beck is running this country!

    Well that’s a relief. I was thinking we had an ultra liberal steering the country.

    papertiger (894e4f)

  45. I think Beck is amusing and his facts are generally correct. You can tell that because, if they weren’t, you would hear it immediately from the legacy media.

    Mike K (2cf494)

  46. Do you remember a while back Michelle Malkin reporting newspapers would use a program to make viewer comments invisible to other readers while still visible to the original commenter?

    I think the SacBee has me on their invisible list. It’s kind of hard to tell though.
    Could I trouble one of you to check out the comment section at this link to see if my posts are visible?

    There a 50/50 chance that I just have a really sucky attitude and nobody over the last three days agrees with me.

  47. Paul Ehrlich continues to freak out about population.

    Bradley J. Fikes, C. O.R. (a18ddc)

  48. I don’t see any comments by papertiger at the Sacramento Bee link, on either of the two comment pages.

    But why are your reading that awful newspaper, anyway?

    Official Internet Data Office (8dc002)

  49. Glenn Beck is a libertarianish guy (complete with the occasional whack-job streak), and that is about as far from being a Nazi as it is from being a Commie, however redundant that seems.

    Kevin Murphy (3c3db0)

  50. Wow, he makes “death panels” seem like understatement.

    Patricia (c95a48)

  51. Brother Bradley – Ehrlich is a blistering asshole, and a coward as well. Does anyone think it coincidental that Ehrlich is dragging out his previously debunked horseshit after Norman Borlaug’s passing?

    After all, it was primarily Borlaug who prevented Ehrlich’s doom and gloom predictions from happening in the first place. Ehrlich has been completely discredited and should just STFU.

    Someone has to.

  55. Does anyone think it coincidental that Ehrlich is dragging out his previously debunked horseshit after Norman Borlaug’s passing?

    I was just talking to my father – in – law about this two days ago, regarding my predictions about Ehrlich’s mouthing off shortly after Borlaug’s death. He’s been a seed salesman in Peoria for over 40 years, yet despite being a very educated guy and an air force veteran, he’d never heard of him. Thanks to the brain – dead editors of the MSM, no one else knows who he is, either.

  57. Let me see if I can make this work, if I can’t, it’s not for lack of kind assistance.

    Paul Ehrlich is a genius, why isn’t he head of HHS?

    Let’s use some critical thinking:
    -Because of resource consumption, the US is the most overpopulated country in the world. (Hence the population in the US needs to be reduced).

    -Yet it is the developing world that is showing the largest population growth, like Uganda, and decreasing the population in the US will do nothing… except decrease the production capability of the most productive and generous nation on the earth…

    -But don’t think about that, because the real point is to hate America.

    I wonder if Ehrlich thinks it was a mistake for Uganda to have a successful anti-HIV campaign for 2 reasons: 1. It was based on abstinence first and monogamy second, before talking about barrier protection, and 2. The population of Uganda will now grow as a result.

    The bottom line foolish lie is to treat human beings as simply another unintelligent creature that consumes the earth’s resources, rather than recognizing humans have the capacity to improve their environments.

    The flip side of the intellectual travesty is to think humans are so brilliant and powerful as to be able to solve all of our man-made problems, include controlling the Earth’s climate and deciding where the boundaries of the seas are.

    The Judeo-Christian (and I suppose Muslim) world view is that man is fundamentally above all of the other animals, but yet wholly dependent upon God. The Left wants us to think man is just another animal (or worse, because we can pollute our environment more) yet equal to God.

    I guess the stroke of genius for the Left is to point out that “they” are equal to God while “the rest (of us)” are less useful than common animals.

    And people teach little children to sing praises to those who hold this ideology.

  60. searching thru the archives it appears my rendition of the “Pull the Plug on Granny” song, which I shamelessly cribbed from a barely rememberd onetime hearing on the Rush Limbaugh show, is the straw that broke the camel’s back for the Bee’s invisible message police.

    Allow me to clear me throat and I’ll be happy to regail you with a sample.
    ahhhhmmmm me mmmmmmmmeeeee meeeeeemeeee

    Got in a car crash, must have looked about half past dead.
    Woke in a hospital, with tubes running out my head.
    Hey Doctor can you help me, will I ever get up from this bed?
    He just grinned and shook his head “No” was all he said.

    Pull the plug on granny ~~~~
    ~~~~ Pull the plug on me.
    Pull the plug on granny aaaaaaaaaaaand
    (aaaaand) (aaaaaaaand)
    That bugged the SacBee editors enough for them to pull the plug on me in the comment section.
  62. Who is Ed Schultz? Never heard of him until now.
    You’re kidding! You never heard of Ed Schultz?!?
    Why, he’s the self-described “most listened-to” liberal talk radio personality in the country, that’s all!
    Which means, of course, that for the vast majority of us he can only be heard on streaming audio on the web. If you’re into mind-numbing stupidity. Personally, I can’t spare the band width.
    Anyway, thanks for bringing this to my attention, General. I’m not one of the dozen or so half-wits who watch his show. Actually, I found TV such a wasteland I cancelled my cable entirely.
    There was nothing good on except “Whale Wars” on Animal Planet. And that was only because the crew of the “Steve Irwin” made the Three Stooges look competent.
    I loved the hang-dog expressions on their faces when the Japanese whalers outwitted them in each episode. Like when they deployed the Sea Shepherd Society’s “stronger-than steel, can’t-be-cut” prop fouler and the whalers not only drove over and cut it, but fished what was left out of the water to potentially use their own weapon against the “Steve Irwin.”
    Oh, and how they cried every time the Japanese killed a whale.
    That was good TV. But it wasn’t worth the monthly cable charge.
    Steve (cd246d)
