  1. I see it’s going to be a reality movie.

  3. I guess the difference between the “comedy” aimed at Sarah Palin and the “comedy” aimed at President Clinton is the truth behind the joke….

With Pres. Clinton the truth is funnier….

  5. Wickedly funny…Bill was smart to demand casting approval!

  6. MAN I’d love to count the veins in his rage-purple neck when runs across this. And he’s too narcissistic not to. Heck, he’s probably Googling himself as we speak.

  7. Haha,NOYK!

but…while his vein bulged in righteous indignation, he would immediately find himself torn between that and the old familiar thrill running up his leg and coursing through his other veins as he pictured himself being a star in a movie about his heroics, with with these young hotties. He’s a conflicted man, I tell ya…

LOL Indeedy. In fact not only is he conflicted, one might say he’s addicted to conflict as well…

  9. I disagree. Billy is a functional sociopath. He has no real relation to people. This will not bother him in the least because it, and the whole rest of the world, is never less than a yard away from him.

  10. A functional sociopath who was a 100X better president than we’ve currently got, if only because he wanted to be liked.

But more than that, I get the sense Clinton genuinely cared about his country, and was simply weak in a fundamental way. For one, North Korea is extremely unpredictable, and while it’s hard to imagine them harming a former president, it’s hard to imagine them doing any of the things they have done.

Can’t say I miss his leadership, aside from the fact that I’d take Joe Biden or perhaps Walter Mondale* over what we’ve got.

  11. I’d imagine a lot of folks on the left (eg, in Hollywood) can laugh at Clinton’s foibles in a light-hearted, slap-happy way because not only do they find dysfunction endearing or tolerable, but they find it even more endearing and tolerable when it’s attached to someone of their ideological ilk (eg, horny Bill).

If I had to choose either Obama or Clinton (talk about a Hobson’s Choice!), while the former is more liberal — if not ultra-leftist — than the latter, because Clinton has the record of disbarment in his background, I’d have to go with the current occupant of the White House. However, I can easily imagine Obama eventually one-upping Clinton in the category of violations of the legal code that, were Obama still a lawyer, no less a trigger of a person losing the right to practice law.

  12. While Bubba might have been disbarred over the Paula Jones/Monica Lewinsky matter,
he never tried to set up “snitch central” at the WH,
which seems to me to fit into a “High Crimes and Misdemeanors” category.
And, there is no mention in Constitutional Law, or practice,
that a President be a Member of the Bar in Good Standing, or even a Member.
We might be better off if we had a President who, in fact, was not a lawyer at all.

  13. Isn’t it curious, though, that both of our last two Democratic Presidents came from dysfunctional childhoods?

    nk (b8c7fd)

  14. You mean they didn’t go to Andover, Yale, and aren’t from a family of well-connected Senators and rich dudes, i.e. oligarchs?

Yeah, that is fascinating. nk wants the nobility to have a pedigree. How nice.

    timb (449046)

  15. Err, no. I meant divorces, stepfathers, abusive stepfathers, mothers who were flakes, taking the stepfathers’ names, being raised by no father, by single mothers, or no mothers or fathers at all….

JD is right about you, timb. You are a creep.

    nk (b8c7fd)

  16. Obama’s grandaparents raised him. Clinton’s uncle raised him.

    And timb is a creep.

    nk (b8c7fd)

  17. Dysfunctional Childhoods…
Justice Clarence Thomas, another person raised by a GrandParent, but this time with a firm grasp on life and reality – but then, he’s considered a Conservative and not someone to emulate!

  18. I can see the scene now from the Lifetime movie of the week.

Uh, ladies, Ahh know you’ve been locked up for a while and need a little practice at all kinds of freedom. Such as sexual freedom for one. Now that we are over the Pacific how would you both like to join the mile high club? It would be our little secret – can’t let the old S of S know. She’s busy dancing in Africa.

    The movie practically writes itself.
