Quote of the Day
“Let’s talk straight here. This is the network that has opened its heart to change. To change and its possibilities. Let’s be honest about it.”

To borrow from the immortal JD, I denounce Chris Mathews’s heteronormative arrogance.
“Let’s talk straight here,” indeed!
Eric Blair (e92b94) — 1/25/2009 @ 1:51 pmOne item they did not recognize. An NRO contributor who lives in DC went to the inauguration and saw quite a few conservatives there. A side from cheering Lieberman, none of them made any demonstration of their opinions. Matthews and his ilk do not understand that the crowd was friendly only because the left had their candidate up there. The right did not but does not make obnoxious demonstrations when they don’t get their way. It is called adult behavior in some circles.
MIke K (ee3203) — 1/25/2009 @ 3:54 pmOddly, I knew which network that was before clicking through.
Kevin Murphy (0b2493) — 1/25/2009 @ 4:13 pmThat would be the same network whose viewership consistently trails CNN and Fox, right?
Dana (137151) — 1/25/2009 @ 4:23 pmThat wasn’t their heart they were opening!
