The host of the site says his best time is 19.099 seconds. I laugh heartily at 19.099 seconds:

I have been playing this for years and my best time is right above 26 seconds. I start out in the middle and then hide in the bottom right corner. After about 15 seconds it get rather hairy…

I dipped straight down, went up to the upper left corner and sat a few seconds, before the big square bounced up I went to the lower right corner. Then I screwed up. But I can see if you can get the flow of it you could last a relatively long time.

This is a great time waster. You drive a truck load of money around a monopoly like board and decide who to bail out. Economic events like stock market drops randomly occur. It is a little to real.

If I don’t mess up I can consistently get in the upper teens with a similar method:
* Straight down
* Move quickly to upper left corner
* Around 10 seconds, move down, up, down, up (with some slight rightward movement) and make my way into the bottom right corner
* Then I have found that you can survive with a quick rounded movement towards the center and then quickly to the bottom left, then again quickly a rounded movement towards the center and to the top right — then you have to crawl in between two pieces towards the right top — then I die every time.

[BTW, I have only tried seven or eight times, but I can’t get better than 10 seconds on the real game. I think my touch-pad setting is too sensitive, but that’s probably why I could do the .002 time.]

1. Start game.
2. Right click mouse to freeze game but clock keeps going.
3. Wait as long as you want your score to be.
4. Crash into the wall.
5. Take screen shot.
Its that simple!
Unaided with the right click cheat I’ve gotten up to 19.656.
