Today on “The Jury Talks Back”

As I announced last night, the new site “The Jury Talks Back” is online, here. “The Jury Talks Back” is a brand-new site written by Patterico readers, for Patterico readers. I’m still in the process of setting up accounts, but most of the permanent “jurors” (contributors) have been notified, and the posts have started to appear. Here’s what we have so far:

  • Kevin Murphy weighs in on the current court challenge to Proposition 8, and what consequences it could have for the initiative process generally.
  • aphrael has an interesting tale of county supervisors appointing a favored colleague to an open seat, rather than allowing an election for the replacement.
  • Scott Jacobs welcomes you, and tells readers what to expect from him.

On slow news days, like every day between now and the election, this will be a good site to check for interesting new developments.

Look under “Recent Comments” on the sidebar for a button to toggle over to the new site. The new site has a corresponding button that will allow you to jump back here, quickly and easily. So it’s easy to jump back and forth between the sites.

I hope everyone likes it. Please bookmark the new site — or just learn where that button is (under recent comments) and start jumping back and forth.
