Holy cripes. Unbelievable. Great post from Xrlq. Required reading for love2008.
Vermont Neighbor (a066ed) — 9/26/2008 @ 8:42 am^ I know she’s voting A-A come hell or high water.
Vermont Neighbor (a066ed) — 9/26/2008 @ 8:43 amI have read your racist link. Come hell or high water, it is still the economy, stupid!
love2008 (1b037c) — 9/26/2008 @ 8:50 amLooks like the long – awaited Rezko plea deal with Fitz is starting to bear fruit:

If Blago’s indicted, then The Messiah better watch his back.
Dmac (e639cc) — 9/26/2008 @ 8:51 amBravo, Xrlq !
JD (41e64f) — 9/26/2008 @ 8:52 amLooks like ZerObama, the constitutional law “professor,” is out to destroy the constitution.
Perfect Sense (9d1b08) — 9/26/2008 @ 8:52 amThe Obots are unreachable. Getting Barry in and doing serious damage for 4 years could be a good thing. No more tears. No more whining.
Vermont Neighbor (a066ed) — 9/26/2008 @ 8:59 amAnd why are you whining about it? Someone has to call you guys out on your many lies and halftruths. If that is thuggery, then welcome to the real world!
love2008 (1b037c) — 9/26/2008 @ 9:01 amMeanwhile,the debate is ON.
Vermont Neighbor (a066ed) — 9/26/2008 @ 9:05 amWelcome to the fantasy world of love2008. A world where white people invented the AIDS virus to kill black people and governmental abuse of power is only bad in the hands of a Republican.
Mr. Pink (eae12c) — 9/26/2008 @ 9:06 amLove2008, I didn’t know fascism was a race. Learn something new every day. Even if the inconvenient truths your lord and savior decries as “lies” really were lies, it would still be constitutionally protected speech, and Obama’s goon cum lawyer knows that.
Xrlq (62cad4) — 9/26/2008 @ 9:08 amIt’s akin to arguing with a Bobo Doll – no sign of intelligent life in those dead eyes, just a big plastic mold of goo that wobbles continuously.
Dmac (e639cc) — 9/26/2008 @ 9:09 amNo TV broadcast or radio program should be permitted if it says anything negative about Obama. Shut them up and then shut them down.
PS oh yeah lie about Palin and her children.

Icy Truth (f6198c) — 9/26/2008 @ 9:17 am— Which WE knew was going to happen. This, of course, didn’t stop the tards from claiming this was all a stunt to avoid debating. Once again they have been exposed as being TOTALLY WRONG on an issue.
From Dmac’s link: Could Illinois Governor Blagojevich suffer the same fate as convicted former Governor George Ryan?
Sure, after all, he did criticize Obama’s campaign regarding the belittlement of Palin’s Governorship.
As for the Xrlq article, a couple of questions:
1) Can the NRA sue Bauer? After all, they’ve got some cash and his letter wrongfully accuses them of impropriety along with damages if stations shy from running the ad – they did pay to produce it, and if the stations don’t run it because of Bauer’s false allegations then they’ve been damaged. A nasty lawsuit would be an interesting campaign story for some.
2) Why wouldn’t any station highlight this kind of attempted censorship from a candidate for President? Even ‘helpful’ Democrats have to wonder at what point they may ‘offend’ someone for something and lose their license.
Apogee (366e8b) — 9/26/2008 @ 9:22 amOn the ugly side, however, Kathleen Parker — a regular allegedly-conservative columnist at Townhall.com — threw Sarah Palin under the bus today. Several of us have expressed our discontent (I post there as “kingsXrulz”), but the more the merrier. I invite everyone here to check out her latest column and to respond as you see fit.
Icy Truth (f6198c) — 9/26/2008 @ 9:22 amYes, McCain hoped to avoid being torn apart in a debate with Obama. Obama felt great pity for the geezer and THAT’S why Obama backed out of all those previously agreed to town hall debates. Hope Baracky’s menstrual cramps don’t sabotage his oratory tonight. What a fecking maroon/c**t.
madmax333 (0c6cfc) — 9/26/2008 @ 9:30 amI’m laughing because Schumer, Reid, Dodd and Barny Fag are blaming McCain for no deal so far. Why can’t the RNC make an ad showing just how much dough Dodd and Obama took from fanny and freddie. It seems to me that Obama is the champion taker of funds from them based on his annual rate of grifting. WHAT did Obama do for the $$$? Yeah, I know all that backwards mario, peter, lovesick and others here won’t answer the questions, but doe excel at spewing the obama talking points replete with deceptions, inveiglings and obfuscations.
Patrick, I hope you don’t ban Love2008. I always need a good laugh in the morning.
Bar Sinister (bcc5e9) — 9/26/2008 @ 9:39 amApogee, it would be a fool’s errand for the NRA to sue Bauer. They’re public figures, so proving actual malice on Bauer’s part would be difficult, and proving harm to their reputation (which entails someone actually believing Bauer’s allegations) would be impossible. No, Obamabots like Love2008 don’t count, as their opinions of the NRA were in the toilet all along.
One thing I wouldn’t mind seeing, though, would be for Bauer and the DC Bar to have a nice little chat about the ethics of sending threatening letters with frivolous legal arguments.
Xrlq (62cad4) — 9/26/2008 @ 9:47 amThanks for the answer Xrlq – oh, and nice link to the DC Bar complaint .pdf. Heh.

I am a black man (not “biracial”), and I learned just last month from Slate’s Tim Noah that being called “skinny” is racist. As someone who hates looking at old photographs of my younger, slimmer self, I aspire to someday invoke such bigotry.
However, X, you do have a point, albeit not the one you intended to make: Fascism IS a race. It is a marathon, not a sprint.
L.N. Smithee (0931d2) — 9/26/2008 @ 10:50 amI had forgotten about skinny. Add skinny to the list that includes articulate, inexperienced, etc …
