Hillary: I’m Not Obama’s . . . Surrogate

Via Ace comes word that Hillary isn’t going to be Obama’s . . . uh, surrogate.

HILLARY Clinton may be the most obvious choice to throw into the ring against the new darling of American politics, Sarah Palin, but the failed Democratic presidential candidate is refusing the job.

“We’re not going to be anybody’s attack dog against Sarah Palin,” a Clinton insider said yesterday.

The L.A. Times Top of the Ticket blog has more. Viva 2012.

  1. Steely Dan, baby. “Dirty Work” Think they would refuse its use for HRC’s 2012 campaign?

  4. The first Hillary 2012 move.

You watch, if Obama looks wounded in the polls, Hillary’s entire campaign apparatus is going to passively assist in taking him down.

    Am I rough enough
    Am I rich enough
Im not too blind to see

    Oh little sister
    Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, girl
Youre a pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty girl
    Pretty, pretty
Such a pretty, pretty, pretty girl
Come on baby please, please, please

Guess who “Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, girl” is when it comes to comparing Hillary to Obama?

Don’t you love how Clintonistas continue to use the first person plural when talking about Bill and Hillary?

  8. Good for Hillary. The issues are what we need to be sinking our teeth in, not Palin’s Caribou.

I’m as tired of the Palin bashing as you all appear to be.

I love it, I think you guys actually want Libs, Media and Democrats to attack Palin so that you could play the sympathy card and the feminist card………. and of course shy away from the real issues.

Way to go Hillary, this campaign needs to be about issues not family matters and field dressing a moose.

  9. Hey!!! You keep your teeth out of Palin’s Caribou, you sick twisted freak!

  11. #8, I disagree. What we need in this country is a Constitutional Amendment to make moose dressing a requirement for any candidate for high office.

Of course, male Dems with weak knees, and notes from their mommies, could substitute an original favorite moose dressing recipe for arugula salad, or dress up like a she-moose during the rut to prove their attractiveness and fitness for the rigors ahead.

  12. “…and of course shy away from the real issues…”

Yes, the “real issues” in this case being the following urgent questions of national interest:

    – Palin’s illegitimate baby;
    – her intention to convert all public schools into Salem – era witch trials;
    – her Nixonian abuse of power in trying to remove a police officer that acts a lot like Richard Gere’s character in the movie “Internal Affairs.”

Yes, so many, many, “real” issues for our Man Oiram.

  13. #12 Dmac, Thank you for backing up my accusations that Republicans encourage America to talk about Palin issues instead of McCain and Bush issues.

Hillary Clinton is telling you that she is not going to attack in that fashion you illustrated in #12.

Do you want Hillary to attack Palin that way?

    Oiram (983921)

  14. “Do you want Hillary to attack Palin that way?”

She doesn’t have to – Obama’s minions have already done their massive hit job on Palin by now. Do you actually read the other postings on this blog? Directly after your Messiah scolded his followers that Palin’s family was “off limits” his head campaign honcho went on a talk show and implied what a trailer trash/whore Palin is. Are you admitting that you didn’t even know about this, or are you actually lacking in that much awareness of the world around you?

Do try to keep up, please.

    Dmac (e639cc)

  15. Joe? I don’t recall much talk lately about some guy named Joe. Joe who?

Maybe it’s that old guy who always made a run for the Presidency but never got any votes. His name was Pat Paulson, not Joe.

    Ropelight (49e412)

  16. #14 Dmac, first of all Obama is not my Messiah, you and McCain’s dominion’s are the ones arranging that one. Quite frankly it’s disrespectful towards Republicans who refrain from that sort of silly propaganda, and especially disrespectful towards Jesus Christ himself. Keep up that sort of nonsense if you either want to offend the Religious Right and or make them look like hypocrites.

Be careful my friend, McCain needs their votes (friendly advice)

Dmac, I have no idea if what you just said about Obama’s “head honcho” is true or not. If you want you could throw a link at me.

I do know that this original post was about Hillary Clinton (Way to change the subject).

By the way, I’ve been crapped on left and right here for doing exactly what you just did….. possibly even by you.

  18. Oiram – if Obama’s people are not responsible for acting like he is indeed the second coming, pray tell who stated the following:

“…now we can help keep our oceans from rising, and help our planet to heal.”

Does this sound like an actual candidate for public office, or something else entirely? You be the judge – but you won’t, since you prefer to act willfully ignorant of these pesky and unpleasant facts.

“I do know that this original post was about Hillary Clinton (Way to change the subject).”

Wow, and here I had no idea your post was about Hillary (duh). But since you’ve ignored my earlier direct response to your question, here’s the link that you’ve obviously been ignoring:

    http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/09/obama-campaign.html

It’s not my job to educate you if you insist on acting willfully ignorant on points that have already been made on this blog, by both the hosts and the commenters. So as I said before, either keep up or else stop demanding others to do your own work. Comprende?

    Dmac (e639cc)

  19. #18 Dmac are you serious? That’s what you basing Obama being the “Messiah” on? By his quote: “…now we can help keep our oceans from rising, and help our planet to heal.” ????

Did it ever occur to you that he could be talking about global warming? I mean whether you believe it or not, that is what he was talking about.
Interpret it the way you want, he’s no Messiah nor does he claim to be.

    You guys crack me up.

But as far as the link, Thank you for that.

I read the article. Gutman should not have attacked Palin’s family values on Laura Ingraham’s show. Obama has said it’s “off limits” as a matter of fact, as stated in your link “Obviously these comments do not reflect our frequently stated views that families of the candidates should be off limits.”

    Gutman did apologize though.

Obama’s camp and Democrats have to realize that any criticism of Palin takes precious time away from the real issues.

It’s my belief that McCain’s camp is counting on this.

    Oiram (983921)

  20. Gutman did apologize though.
    Comment by Oiram — 9/8/2008 @ 4:56 pm

I missed that, when did he apologize again? What happened to Obama’s pledge that anyone from his campaign who went after family members would be fired?

    Stashiu3 (460dc1)

  21. That pledge went right under the bus – quel surprise.
