L.A. Times Publisher Hints at More Staffing Reductions

Filed under: General — Patterico @ 12:15 pm

I think this memo from L.A. Times publisher David Hiller is a nice way of saying there will be more staffing cuts at the paper in coming weeks and months.

    Guess not.

  5. Zell has already put out feelers regarding the sale of the landmark Trib Tower here, so watch for a forthcoming leak on the LAT downtown headquarters shortly. The speculated MO from Zell from the beginning of the sale process was primarily the intrinsic value of the TribCo real estate properties, while his interest in resurrection of the actual mediums is most likely ancillary.

Spelling Esa-Pekka Salonen’s name correctly and saying; “Esa-Pekka Salonen” ten times, real fast. Pat Morrison’s talented gift to the LA Times.
