- Stuff White People Like. Hilarious. It is fascinating, though, to contemplate the reaction if one were to substitute another group for “white.” Not so funny any more, is it?

The “Stuff White People Like” is funny. Like most good humour, it’s funny because of the elements of truth the jokes contain.
As for substituting anything for “white,” well, we all know how that goes. That would be racist.

I’m guessing he’s from California and doesn’t realize all white people are not liberals :).

Since racism is now a “it means whatever I say it means” term I’ll just let that go as one more sloppy use of language. The site is 1. not all that funny, 2. decidedly does not hold up a race as being superior to another race 3. exposes stereotypes for us to laugh at. I’d only point out that stereotypes are more often correct than not, or they wouldn’t be stereotypes.

Yeah, but that’s what makes it so funny. White yuppies tend to think of themselves as almost “post white” and the fact that this website doesn’t include things like NASCAR, country music, Budweiser, bowling and/or Truckasaraus probably drives them especially crazy.
